Suboxone has definitely saved my life. All people I used to use with are now dead.
Was on it for about two years and it was Hell!!! Side effects from it was horrible. My doctor and I talked and I’m now on my old pain medication because of chronic pain from my job . Not saying it’s not good, just not for me. It was great for cravings but not for pain.
How long after 1m (from tapering off) does it block other opiates? Having surgery soon
@@dustinsanchezmusic5851If its just the strips, only like a month being off them and you will feel a strong buzz from painkillers again, if you got the sublocade shot, I didn't feel any effects from any opioid for 5 months
What was your side effects?
Well that’s cause it’s not pain medication
Taken me months to figure out how the side effects are giving me pain
I went from 8mg a day to 1mg in a week. I feel the same. But if i dont take the 1mg i can definitely feel it. Hoping to jump off it soon.
Same here but 1m it’s bad. How long does that stay in your system blocking other opioids? Having surgery soon
@dustinsanchezmusic5851 Wished I had a direct answer for that. Been on subs for 15 years and broke my collar bone and had surgery. Treating the pain w/subs and ibuprofen. Do have a bottle of 2mg oral dilauded they don't do anything. So the bottle will sit until a rainy day I guess.
What was your experience?
Switch to zubsolv they have down to .9 mg
Yes the something to nothing is by far the worst
@@dustinsanchezmusic5851depends on your doseage but definitely longer than 7 days
15 years on the shit. Finally reduced to 0.1 mg
Still have wds at that .
That’s crazy. I’m on a mg a day and its been hard to get it less than that. 2 years of taking it trying to get off it. Good luck to you friend
3 days off now. Not really any physical withrawls, sweats, aches ect ect. Just restless body and no bastard sleep.
Get down to .4 then .2 the .1 only take in the evening to sleep . Each drop you'll loose a night to restlessness. Then after a few days jump. Just be strong and stop being a prisoner. I feel alive again already
I'd been on .8 for 4 years
@@sicsimo51 my main problem is I need to take them in the morning even if I take it at night because I always wake up sick for the first hour, thank you for the advice I’m gonna try to taper down some more shit is really no joke at all!
100 mg Sublocade shot got me off suboxone very comfortably. First, I tapered get down to 2 mgs of suboxone per day which took a few months which is not terribly hard. Then 100 mg sublocade shot (just 1 shot) worked and done. About 4-5 months later clean, it takes a long while to dissolve. It is a natural taper shot in the stomach that forms into a harder substance in the body and slowly dissolves! You are on such a low dose now that you may need to have them give a 50 MG shot or half shot. I am not sure but I know I was doing as low as 1 MG a day but could not go any lower and 2 MG was more comfortable. So I did 2 MG until I got the 100MG shot. Nothing since April!
Less pleasure from methadone. Well thats bull$hit Im stepping down to tex then box then nothing hopefully.
Just answer the question
But only problem Suboxone doesn't work if u take opioids. U need 3days maybe more otherwise u will get in worst withdrawal and it doesn't work if u take fentanyl even longer
Suboxone takes the enamel off your teeth, hard to come off, does little for pain. Court case looming.
It's weird because I have to dose 3 times a day on suboxone. I take 4mg in the morning 4mg in the afternoon and 2mg before bed so I can actually sleep
You could honestly dose once and not withdrawal so long as your dose is high enough.
@biglyredly8637 I've tried that, and when I take the whole dose at once I get so so high and I freak out. I am very sensitive to it and I don't want the high, I just want to be normal.
maybe you should explain whats "weird" so you can get a proper response...
@Jeff Taylor does me the same way Jeff
I don't want to take it but had a very bad reaction to vivatrol
Suboxone is 40 x times stronger than morphine, fyi
