Okay everyone listen up I think I have the best answer LOL. Im 1 month clean off of A 2 year Fentanyl addiction. Oh its been tough annd truly great at the same time but i hate fyntenal. I m not going back. Also I have to turn myself in soon. The jail will allow me to be on Suboxone if prescribed but Honestly I just want to be clean. I've been on zubs before and I'm just tired of it all but the truth is- Give me anything but Fentanyl or H or Oxi. So I do have a sub doctor but, I really don't want to be on Subs😐. I explained to MY DR that I don't want to take (Naloxone&Buprenorphine) sublingually, because it makes my lips swell up badly. They want me to suck on 3x8MG pills a day 😬. Which is a lot. Also their powdery and they taste disgusting.🤢 So he switched me to BUPE ONLY pills. NO NALOXONE. Now, if you are taking Suboxone with Bupe only you can use Kratom and they will actually work together PRETTY NICE.👌 SSince I've gotten off the Fentanyl even though I have Subs I still haven't been feeling right.🥴 So now that I have the buprenorphine only pills I take - >2 m/day or less & about .10<Kratom concentrate powder from AmazingBotanicals.com . The best 👌. So I can get the maximum effect and I only have to take a tiny little bump and swallow it with OJ Water etc . Now while both of these work together as long as there's no naloxone because they inhibit the same receptor. there is going to be a ceiling effect on both drugs if used at the same time(Naloxone&Kratom)🙅.. ON the other hand if you are using SubS W/ Naloxone - I would either stick with the Subs only or go with the kratom only cuz naloxone seems to block the effects of Kratom somehow. At least for me . And if I don't use kratom I'll be using 8 mg of sub a day and I don't want to do that plus - I have to turn myself in obviously I won't be able to do kratom when I get out of jail so another words clean is the best choice don't mix naloxone and kratom should be fine and try to find extract powder when you're using kratom so that you can take very small quantities because I'll either use a lot of one or the other or I can microdose both of them this in my opinion the best way. if have question lmk thx and bless allll of Yall🥵🤯🤓😅🤷🏽‍♂️🙏🏽

You can also take the films buccally, meaning on the inside of the check. It has a higher bioavailability via buccal route. The naloxone virtually has no effect regardless how u take it bc the affinity for the opioid receptor is higher with the buprenorphine.

Mild ? Only a idiot who has no clue would say that let me tell you there is nothing mild about it especially shittygting yourself for months straight, feeling like your freezing to death but in full body soaking sweat and feel so sticky and gross, every muscle in your body is hard as a rock and you realize you have muscles you didn’t even know you had, you can’t sleep, your mind is non stop focusing on relieving that pain, crying non stop , complementing taking your pain away if you know what I’m saying, beyond depressed, this is just some of what I felt when going through sub withdrawal and it a slow tapper and low mg. Dosing and I still was full blown in withdrawal for months until I ether went back on it or I wasn’t living another day in pain . It’s 20 times worse than any flu or food poisoning. You literally wish you died

You must've been on too much, Kratom isn't methadone, it doesn't do you no good to just hop off onto that from a daily smack habit where you're pushing bags and bags into your veins. You must have gotten down to a manageable level and Kratom doesn't give you that heroin like rush, it isn't supposed to. Kratom is much more like Suboxone in that it's like maintenance type therapy, it caused me some euphoria but it like never actually got me "high" in the same sense Norcos did. Kratom high is like being "high" on gabapentin, I mean it's better than nothing but if you are looking for the rush of street drugs look elsehwere, it'll never get you to where you want to be, it's solely there to either take the edge off, help you manage your pain better, not drink alcohol and help deal with some PTSD and anxiety issues without resorting to a full blown benzo addiction. Kratom is often the lesser of evils, it can cause addiction, it has side effects, but you can't OD on it and it won't cause respiratory depression and it won't get you super high, I think there may also be a ceiling effect. I basically took Kratom to manage, more for mood stabilizing, generalized anxiety, trauma, and not drinking alcohol effects, it's also super effective for any kind of pain if you work on your feet and with your hands. Like, I legitimately think it's better than opioids, cannabis, and gabapentin for some kinds of pain. You can take enough to get mad constipated though and HL is enough you can have withdrawal in the middle of a shift or somewhere in sleep if you get like crazily addicted. I need to recheck half lifes I've seen people try and say they was waking up in withdrawal I saw someone else try and say it had 24hr HL. My experience was that it was only good for about 6 hours, beyond that begins to get WD territory. Fatigue and chills. Bupe is so weird. Suboxone 12 hours later I get tired and fatigued cravings, 24 hours and it's this chest pounding head throbbing feeling with hot flashes and nausea that later intensifies to puking my guts out. It's also really weird because I get hot flashes? I get chills too it's just I'm not as used to the hot flashes thing I get with Suboxone that becomes chills. Oh also within 12 hours your nose starts getting moist, you can feel your eyes begin tearing. Kratom I didn't have that but I never let it get that far

Ive been on merhadone for 3 years. I went from 105mg (really 140 because i was abusing my take homes) down to 3.5mg and i'm now 60 hours sober from methadone. It is now 10:14pm. By 10am I will be 72 hours sober and will start suboxone. Ive been on meds to help with the transition and havent felt to bad at all. Low energy of course, but could be the muscle relaxers or the Hydroxyzine thats helping me transition. I pray that anyone reading this, and even myself, will get through all of this. Someday, we will look back and cry or smile. 3 years ago I never thought id be off methadone but here I am. 😊

Suboxone is definitely stronger I don’t know what people are talking about. 30mg or even more of methadone is equivalent to 8mg subxone. To think people are fine on 1-2 strips and level out the same to people on 120mg of methadone that says a lot. I’ve been on both I couldn’t get off suboxone even at .125 mgs . 2-4mg is still very strong. And to think they prescribe 2-4 strips a day is ridiculous. I would never go back to that and tapering is even worse so is getting accurate low doses. Again everyone is different

However it is more manageable than most make it out on these forums etc. You just have to occupy your mind surround yourself with ppl and things that bring you joy and peace and that interest you and get plenty of rest because sleep will be challenging. Just lay around and listen to music but also get up and move a good amount and eat and drink good alkaline water and healthy supplements

I was surprised to hear no mention of the differences between Buprenorphine and Naloxone, or that Buprenorphine binds to the Opioid receptor like Heroin but also prevents other opioids from attaching, thereby preventing relapse/use of the Heroin. I suppose as it's a two-drug combination, you'd have to talk about one then the other. Buprenorphine is a partial agonist or mixed agonist/antagonist. Understanding these concepts, I find is cruicial.

No because the Buprenorphine would block the kratom dope. I’ll stick with Kratom alone. It’s not that strong. Kratom comes on subtle. It’s more like an antidepressant. It’s a clean smooth stimulant effect. No shaking. I don’t even bother with adderall anymore. Everything is addictive you dopes. But you can’t combine the two.

I had gotten down to .5 mgs and just couldn't get completely off or even down to .25 mg. I fell and hurt my back and the only thing that was helping was the suboxone and went back up to 2 mg for a few weeks. I was in the process of tapering back down and just found out I am pregnant. It's very early, I'm just now hitting 6 weeks. I'm on 1 mg now and plan on cutting to .75 mg tomorrow. My plan is to keep decreasing every 6-7 days. The taper calculator I've been using suggests going from .5 to .25 but that's where I hit my wall before. Do you think if I instead went .5 > .375 > .25 would make it easier? I just want off of it ASAP but I know withdrawal can cause miscarriage, do you think this would help make it easier or am I just adding an extra step and extra time on it for no reason? Also, I am already taking a multivitamin but I've heard Vitamin C and Vitamin E can help, should I add those on top of the multi? I know this doesn't replace medical advice but for personal reasons I am not ready to go to the OB and just need some educated advice on how to finish this taper as quickly and safely as possible. Thank you!

Its a horrible drug to get off from. It made me feel like a zombie and destroyed my teeth dure to its acidity under my tongue. If you take it please don't take for very long or you'll be so sorry. Withdrawal are horrific, perhaps due to it being synthetic. The pharmaceutical vompanies are making alot of money from it. Im taking gabapentin to help me sleep. But starting to feel human again. Go😢luck to anyone in my predicament

I've been on fentanyl, methadone, subs. All opiates. And they are great until they aren't.. All opiates can put a monkey on your back that you have no idea how bad it could get.. Back on methadone, helps me daily. Low dose but its still scary and hard

Also, how is dental decay not mentioned first? Your teeth are going to ROT your teeth, period. Google Suboxone dental decay if you doubt it. Do NOT allow your doctor to label you with OUD, it will follow you forever. Do not use it for chronic pain! Do not give up your FDA approved pain meds for this! Your future self will thank you.

Doctors prescribing suboxone for PAIN in ppl who are not an addict, should be illegal. They get around it by changing your diagnosis to OUD, opiate use disorder, so LYING to get your insurance to pay for it. How is this even allowed?
