On my morning walk today I decided I would vacuum the house when I got home. Then I noticed this video and plopped down on the couch for half an hour of pure delight! At the end you mentioned you were going to vacuum and I snapped back into reality! 🤣 So many wonderful, wonderful makes! The menswear all turned out so fabulous! And I literally laughed out loud when you said something like, "sewing... you never know what's going to happen!" So funny and true! I love your attitude about all your sewing experiences, even the exasperating moments. Such a good example to me. I love that green top with the green and pink skirt! The design lines are beautiful. The black floral motif on the black fabric did show up on camera a couple times - so elegant! About that $1 fabric and that collar: incredible deal! The collar reminds me of retro portrait collars, only it's circumference is smaller. I do like that it isn't hugging the neck though. I think it looks nice on you. Even the last top with the slit shoulder seams looked fine on your figure, but I think that's because it looked balanced with the pants you paired with it. And the caftan looked so gorgeous! You have such a flair for modifying garments to suit you! I struggle to think outside the box, or rather, the pattern envelope suggestions. Which reminds me of your comment about not showing Colin that pattern envelope! Oh my goodness, you have the best humor and personality! When you went on hiatus last year I literally cried for about an hour. Now I can't believe it was that long ago! I especially loved the chiffon top - the print fabric was fabulous. The white pants looked great too. The collar on the dress looked very classy and loved the cap sleeves. I often say this but really you have the perfect 60s figure that funnel dress is VERY Jackie O and you look wonderful in it. Beautiful makes especially the Simplicity trousers and the jump suit. Love that Koko Beal - her patterns are great.

Love the dress with collar, looks stunning on you. Toss the green shirt, looks like it is binding your bust! Pink stripe shirt can go too, the bust darts don’t lay properly and poke out. A suggestion for sleeves that I got years ago sew the seam allowance on the bodice. Clip into it then slightly gather the sleeve. Leave the underarm open till the last. It works great for me.

You are awesome. I use to get some of the prettiest fabric from Walmart for $1.00 a yard, and sometimes from Hancock fabrics years ago. They knew me so well, they use to call me at work to let me know they got new shipments in. Love the white pants and top. Keep up the great work. The young man looks good in his shorts.

A great fashion show today, complete with gentlemen! I have four favorite things to comment on: Loved the silver & white $1/yard fabric shift with a fantastic collar. The green cabbages are so Kaffe Fassett-esque...love that fabric (and that designer). Favorite top was the basic black shell with side slits...which will go with ANYTHING ! And lastly, the Vogue 9979 caftan...zebra print was perfect. If you ever make it with the hood, line it so it looks good on or off your head. Thank you so much for todays video...you just keep getting better and better!
