that is one of my winches it;s a KMS K3 sw 180 will dead lift 25 lbs Soon to BE TOYZUKI winches USE a old rod end centered on spool to keep line from running over end of spool
Everyone is trying to get me to get this base camp thing. Upgrades are helping the overall look. Have you seen SBG’s version 🤯🤯… That one almost sold me on pullin the trigger. Purple Lego RC
Ahh, the ol Star Cut Foams! HEY, it works. 👍👍 I've done that on all my Crawlers... some People like firm Foams. I'm NOT one of them! Brent, those Rims are definitely on my wish list.... the TRUCK too. Someday. Like that ESC too, never used one before. I've at least got 5 WP-1080s that I got last year, 3 going into Semis. Do want that Rig. I think I'd put my Unimog Body on it, it's got PORTALS!! 😁
Thank you Carmine it's pretty good rig I'm in Michigan at the Team Sargent Rc compound now staying here for the weekend been running this allot been impressed so far
Thank you Malcom unfortunately it happens somehow with tires but it's ok all worked out fortunately the radio selection switch is a nice feature glad they put it there
Yup looks good bud. All great upgrades. The tires and "cut" foams made the difference there and it sure is capable now on those steep climbs. Great work bud.
Oh and btw. Not that I mind any. But I had to swap out the receiver in my Scx6. Went with the Radio Link. Which works well for me. The reason? The receiver rusted out in the waterproof box... Err ... Resistant. Anyway, took it out and the smallest amount of water certainly nothing that would effect any other receivers. I was surprised. Same one that is on the Basecamp. and probably on you're Scx6. Food for thought.
Super nice upgrades! boy this thing now is a beast it should do it all! Ran nice if the side walls are a bit soft maybe 2 stage foams will help. I would test it on some angles and stuff first in the real rocks and trails I think 2 stage foams are for heavy rigs and may be to stiff for the base camp but never know have to do some more testing! Beauty!
Thank you very much Steve the mods are working great had it out all day yesterday running with friends it did every thing the vanquish and the trx4 did
Nice mods and run, speaking of foams I just got some in for the gen 8, finally going to ditch the stock memory foams, they got way to hard now after I dried them out.
Those grey painted windows drive me nuts. What was axial thinking? 😂 I do like the truck and the way it sits but doesn’t look like it performs much better then a stock 10.2
Love what you did with the truck, specially cutting the fenders and bumper to avoid all that rubbing, something that most people with this vehicle won't do. But I just have to ask, did you design and build your own course... I'm really loving it 👍
Nice upgrades. I've never seen that esc. Performs pretty well with that motor. Nice run on the course. It's looking great 👍 the landmines are awesome tires. We just got a couple sets of ruptures. Ran them last night on the trx4 sport. Like a super-sized landmine.. great vid Brent 👌
Nice upgrades, for me there are two many nice electronics available to resort to that awful whine as I do prefer a more silent crawl experience. Nice work 👍
Nice work Brent I'm really curious to see the difference if you change the tyre foam I've always been of the belief that tyre sag is a good thing increasing your tyre footprint length and traction point until the sidewall allows it to roll a smidge easier but that seemed to perform incredibly well with that tyre sag you've got there in that run 👊👍💯
Thank you very much my brother yes I agree I like soft wide print but these are so soft they roll under in a pinch turn a set of 2 stage in the front allows you to stear better and keep the super squishy in the back for extra grab works pretty good that's how the ecto is setup
Nice upgrades Brent👍. Has the new motor ball bearings? I'm ptetty interested in it, most for my buggies.I read 540 and 13T should give a speed boost. 20 bucks' awesome, too. Big T would announce 5 times more for such a motor, and have just bushings. Great run at the end, the upgrades work very well👏

Thank you for letting me know I a pin on your comment so others will know it works great really powerful
@@AdventureTimeRC Your Welcome
O yeah the winch was a killer little bonus 👌👍 Looking Sweeeet 👉🥂
Thank you very much Aaron appreciate it brother
Supervisor awesome video Brent it was great to see you again, almost reintroduce Myself. Lol

She’s looking and performing fantastic. 😁👍

I am on a similar upgrade path.
Makes the truck much better.

Good improvements, looks grounded well now
Thank you very much I am liking how it drives
That a lot of upgrades in one go, shame the tyres did not fit the rims. Nice having the option on the radio to fit a winch.
Thank you Malcom unfortunately it happens somehow with tires but it's ok all worked out fortunately the radio selection switch is a nice feature glad they put it there
Lovin what you've done bro!! 👏👏👏👍😁 Winch rocks! Love the tires...2 stage will make them perfect. Winch wall for sure!!!!!👍
Brilliant illustrations rc parts my friend😁👍👋
Nice off-road run and crawling. Excellent RC 👍👍
Thank you very much my friend
Pretty sweet backyard setup!!
I think the winch wall would be cool! It was fun to watch the base camp work yesterday @ John’s
very good build you are so talented
Thank you very much
Great mods.
Thank you very much
Nice upgrade and video Brent!
Really beautiful 😍 nice vidéo 👍😉
Thank you very much my friend
Hi there Brent, some great additions there. Great details too, thank you for sharing. Take care and best wishes. 😊😉😊
I like upgrades that don't cost as much as the truck . To bad the windows aren't clear .
Great Vid , best base camp vid , I've seen ! Gonna be awesome
Thank you for the useful information!😊
Loving your base camp man. Handles well.
Awesome upgrades and crawling

@@AdventureTimeRC That's awesome the base camp is probably one of the best or could be the best 1/10 crawler chassis out.
@@ShenRC it really is a good one
Lots of sweet upgrades there Brent! It definitely performed well on your course!
👍😊
Thank you very much brother
Hello from southeast alaska. Love that Base camp
Really cool upgrades Brent! Love those beadlocs! 👍😎👍
Thank you very much Jeff appreciate it brother
I have that same motor. Just needs to be rebuilt. It went up in smoke 💨 last Halloween.
Looks like it handles great
Nice mods and run, speaking of foams I just got some in for the gen 8, finally going to ditch the stock memory foams, they got way to hard now after I dried them out.
Cool inforativ video man😎👍

I'm going to take care of that window lol
Great upgrades bro! I like the Landmines and nice budget wheels. I have been using Holmes Hobbies motors but I like the one your using!
If you like that motor try an 8-10t holmes crawlmaster motor. They're the best cheap brushed motor I've ever used...
Thank you very much I have those in other trucks they are really good
Love what you did with the truck, specially cutting the fenders and bumper to avoid all that rubbing, something that most people with this vehicle won't do. But I just have to ask, did you design and build your own course... I'm really loving it 👍
Have you tried the tires out on the hard body I really like the looks of them
On full turning lock does the tyre rub against the underneath link bar? Also are the electronics waterproof out of then box?
Nice upgrades. I've never seen that esc. Performs pretty well with that motor. Nice run on the course. It's looking great 👍 the landmines are awesome tires. We just got a couple sets of ruptures. Ran them last night on the trx4 sport. Like a super-sized landmine.. great vid Brent 👌

Nice work 👍
Thank you very much yeah this build is budget based so a bit of whine is the price 😅🤣

Nice upgrades, where did you get your hex driver?
The blue Tamiya set or the 6v driver ebay for the Tamiya and a local hardware store for the 6v thank you very much for watching
Whats that loud buzzing sound?
Feedback from the esc needs line filters
why starcut foams?
So the tires wrap around rocks and grab better thank you for watching
i would say that motor noise wasnt there originally, not trying to be rude or anything, just curious
Yeah the cool esc is a bit noisy but works decent has more setup options than stock and a on off switch I did switch out to a 1080 recently
nice video man did u pick up much wheel speed from that motor and will a 550 fit in these rigs ?
Not much its geared pretty low and a 550 should not be a problem at all
@@AdventureTimeRC thanks bro and yea ik their rock crawlers and suppose to be slow but ya need more wheel speed than what it is geared lol
Nice upgrades Brent👍. Has the new motor ball bearings? I'm ptetty interested in it, most for my buggies.I read 540 and 13T should give a speed boost. 20 bucks' awesome, too. Big T would announce 5 times more for such a motor, and have just bushings.
Great run at the end, the upgrades work very well👏
feedback sound/noise is not worth the upgrade! the stock motor is great
The feedback is from the esc its been swapped out for a hobby wing 1080
