Definitely took that Basecamp up a couple levels! I usually use Tamiya polycarbonate cleaner to clear windows. Well done. Knowledge is power! Right On Brother 💪
Some awesome tips brother! It turned out amazing . Love the window cutouts too! That really brought some scale ness to it bud.. Even got your own vanity plate? That added some cool 🔥🔥points to the cool factor! Thanks for sharing Brent!👍🏻👊🏼💯😊🍻
you're a Madman dude, those clear windows look great but that's the sort of thing I think I would probably start and then like 2 hours into it think to myself oh, yeah those window sticker don't look too bad LOL. That thing looks great!
Well - what a huge difference you've made to the way this body looks! To my mind, the single most striking improvement is the windows, but the paint on the hood and the accessories, plus the stickers, all work together (along with the new bumper) to make this Base Camp look like a scale model rather than a generic lexan Jello-mold with headlights painted on it. And to think that I once suggested that it was a goid thing that the stock body had so little character, as no-one would mind swapping it for something more interesting! You had the vision to see what it could become!
Looking better all the time I used a mixture of rubbing alcohol and lighter fluid back in the day to remove paint and over spray. I'm curious it the skid is close to the scx10 ii early bronco I would like to switch over to the base camp transmission for a test . Comparison performance why's
I have used dot4 brake fluid works OK and I have also used nitro fuel but new paint holds up to well I haven't checked the transmission plate but shouldn't be a big deal even if you had to get a scx10 iii Trans plate you could make it fit between the rails
Never heard of it lol been doing it this way for years but I appreciate any new ideas I will be checking it out thank you for the information and watching

Why you are not using thr Revell Paint remover?
Never heard of it lol been doing it this way for years but I appreciate any new ideas I will be checking it out thank you for the information and watching
👍👍👍
Thank you very much Tim
Next time use a hair dryer to loosen the sticker...works well. Just don't melt the windshield...
Thank you for the tip
Backyard Carwler Addicts! Are you from MI?
Looks sweet
You have 2.2 tires and wheels on your basecamp
You could have used Nitro fuel which could have removed paint much faster..
Dude! 00
Thank you very much
looking good👍
Thank you very much
