That climb at 10:42 up that incline is crazy! 😬
Great video. Picked up a base camp as well. Kept a brushed setup in it. Holmes esc and motor. Did the brass portal covers. And wheels and tires. A worlds difference just in that
I didn't know vitavon made crawler parts thanks good video
Great video as usual, enjoy watching your vids and learning as I go. Keep up the great work and awesome content, thank you Sir.
Very nice!
OD and front weight are two things I am doing first!
Performed really well . Those axles look awesome
You can squeeze the battery tray in front of the trans housing. Changes the way the truck drives soooo much.
How do you mount it up there? Thought it would fit but couldn’t find a good way to mount it. I know rock pirates has one in the works with angled mounts, was waiting for that to drop but if there’s another way… 🤔
I'm definitely making this my first 1/10🍺
seems simple enough for a noob like myself... love the scx24s 👊
Great video and information on the RC
Nice work. It definitely walked those obstacles it struggled with before. I also agree this doesn't really need the Vitavon housing to get a similar result. Brass bits in the right places should do well to shift weight around assuming those parts don't add up to the cost of new housings :)
I highly recommend getting something like the axle panhard brace shown in this video I just got a 10.3 base camp ran it for about an hour and that panhard snapped completely off I can’t even steer the truck now so I went and purchased a new aluminum axle but if I had that brace it might have saved me almost 100 dollars
great video!!!
In my opinion. When doin a upgraded video and seeing how compares to stock version. You should have run the same line and then u can tell the difference
Since this came out I’ve been debating this for a possible rock pirates build maybe another v3 or a Capra builder’s kit.
Nicee😍
How did u make the g speed mount work without hitting the shocks??? Help. Lol
Or do you mean the panhard link itself hitting, you can move the panhard bar and bold it through the front side of the axle
@@TRDAdventures yeah that’s what I had to do unfortunately. Installing the stock way with the g speed upgrade pushed the pan hard rod end out too far and wouldn’t allow room for the shock to reattach. Now if I could just fix the servo horn hitting the chassis pan hard mount and allow for full left steer. Lol. Still working on that issue. (Without moving steering servo to middle mount) would love any ideas u have for that debacle 😁👍. Thanks for getting back to me quickly also. Really appreciate it.
Also do u know what aftermarket driveshafts will fit? The standard (jlu) metal scx10 3 rear driveshaft is too short? I had a nice Samix brass set but won’t work🤷♂️. I thought they would be a direct fit but no good unfortunately. Thanks 👍
Did you seriously talk for 8 minutes and just flash parts in front of the camera? Show people where they go.
You should not apologize to your viewers about doing upgrades. That is the sole purpose of this truck...
Yea I just don’t want new people thinking that they have do so all this, starting small is perfectly fine. Im having a blast with this truck.
