Wow, you actually named the god something good. Purely for the fact that he kept threatening me when I was too close (Accidentally rolled into him) he was known as Shithead through my playthrough
For Heket, I absolutely think their job as an old god is fertility, as famine would be the other side to that coin. The opposite of "Fertile soil" is soil that cannot produce anything. i just thought it was a neat idea :3
this is probably spot on seeing as the real goddess heket is named after is a goddess of fertility! not to mention that people pray to her for plentiful crops
A crown does not necessarily make one a bishop, many characters other than chemak have crowns, such as Haro. These lesser crowns seem to give less impressive abilities than the bishop crowns. Chemak's crown seems to give the ability to leech power from other gods, through severed body parts or posessions, creating relics. In fact, check claims to have created her crown out of "secret" material. It seems more lively than other crowns, as if it's conscious. Maybe it contains fragments of other gods souls?
Her crown has multi eyes, so I'm sure she made it out of fragments of crowns from dead gods, and it bring her to madness, tranform her to an uncomplete god figure. She likely chains herself when she feel the madness begin to rise and her body can't function normal anymore.
I think Chemach's story goes more like this. One of her siblings mentioned that the three (Chemach, Claunek and Kuudai) were the children of a god and were tasked with making godly instruments. But they were not supposed to use these instruments themselves. So the three siblings weren't supposed to use the things they made for themselves. And Chemach managed to make her own crown...so perhaps Chemach using one of her own creations was the reason for her current state. Half-mad and mutilated. Also, I don't think Chemach has any legs. Which I always thought was the reason she needs to suspend herself on hooks.
Honestly, as soon as I learned that you could canonically get the bishops as followers, I was so hyped, cause that was an idea I had and drew, so seeing that it actually happened? So much joy. And… the fact that sacrificing Ratau, to get the completion bonus? I just… something feels so wrong with that. Why does he have to die, in order for us to get 100%? It’s just such a gut punch, and I don’t understand why, besides to cause pain. He wasn’t waiting for death, he had just been given a new hope for life, why does he have to die?
I'm pretty sure, if you think openly about a lot of the sick shit that happens during the story and the mentality of the god of order (big eye) you'll come to the conclusion that neither reality nor the universe of the Lamb is in any way shape or form something like "fair".

At the same time, sacrificing Ratau is very devastating. I genuinely felt bad the rest of the game after I killed him. Cult of the Lamb is a very solid game ans the lore is super interesting! Makes you feel things 😭
I think that Leshy, Heket, Kallamar and Shamura can all see, speak, hear and think because of their crowns. Even when they lose their crowns and become followers, they keep their abilities because of wearing their crown for so long.
I think they lost those abilities because Leshy said something liek *were is my crown damm lamb, i know your are there i can smell you* kinda explaining that he can't see annything The injuries of his other siblings can be explained like Shamura loste moste of there memories because there head got really damaged badly. Kalemar probably still can hear because part of his ears are gone but has still the most inportand part. Only Heket is hard to explaining because when you looks for the bishops lost parts her throat had her vocal cords even if she can speak (but Shamura did say it got slit open so maybe it was design choice)
It is possibly, with him being the most painful to defeat, even showcasing just how he is much more capable of fighting, yet wavers before fhe red crown, pleading for mercy even before we face against him, and needing freedom, thus a coward, truly speaks a lot about Kallamar
i think it’s cool that with the Egyptian references, it’s known that Egyptian kings would take their servants to the afterlife, like Narinder did with the 2 kids
10:37 Kallamer is also a pain in the ass to kill on any difficulty above easy, any of his fireballs attack combined with him constantly summoning more enemies into the arena makes a combo that would definitely make you smash your keyboard with frustration
Like for real though! Kallamer is genuinely a pain in the ass to beat! Then again lore wise it is what makes him unique! Especially with enemies that are capable of both wielding weapons at the same time have the capability to cast fireballs, it all started from Kallamer, again he is still a huge pain in the ass to beat, despite him being such a coward to us the Red Crown
People and animals are usaly more dangerous when they are scared and fear for their life. I guess Kallamar was so afraid of dying and seeing his younger brother that he gave it his all to stay alive.
Wait Baal, Aym, and Forneus are the names of three of the demons is the ars Goetia which is the first book in the Lemegeton Clavicula Salomonis, which talks about 72 demons and summoning seals for them. Additionally in Satanic circles and some occult practitioners will use the symbol that is shown on the ground during the boss fights as a demonic seal for the Devil
On your theory of Chemach, I don’t think she was a Bishop. Yes she has a crown, but Haro has a crown as well and I don’t think they are Bishops. I theorize that there are other crowns in the world that don’t hold as much power or that are more obscure than the Bishops’. It’s been theorized that Chemach’s crown is healing a wound of her’s as it is melted into her head similar to Shamura’s and/or it’s an accumulation of her depravity and madness pulling her deeper into insanity.
Also random thing I just noticed. Maybe the crowns, or at least Chemach’s, are forged in the ethereal dimension the Great Eye lives in? No evidence aside from the floating rocks in the background that have similar eyes to Chemach’s crown.

Yeah this may come as a suprise but the cult leader lamb may not be the last of his kind. If you write cult of the lamp in youtooz one of the items is a plushy. The plushy is of a follower that is called rammie and propably is a ram. Ram means adult sheep so basicly theres a change the lamb fron the game us not the last of his kind. Since in the description of Rammie it states that she is a cult member and may want to take the role of cult reader from lamb badiclu stating that rammie is still alive. What do you guys think of this theory
Haro is one of the old gods. He wears a blinded crown, which denotes that he was one of the gods who chose to succeed to the bishops and give up his power in exchange for his life
Also notice how Chemach has missing feathers. Her wings were clipped and she is suspended by chains in an attempt to recreate flight, instead symbolizing her imprisonment.
Hate when the OBS recording file gets corrupted, but hey, it went most of the viseo before that happened. And I liked the video, really explained things well, even if it's just a tiny thing or two I missed.
2:56 once he drew me a card to that made me take double damage (i had a card that removed the possitive effect of corrupt card) or take 2x damage to poison, guess he forsaw my death
"Vessel, I relinquish you from your service to the Red Crown. Return it to me, and embrace the end that awaits. With this last sacrifice of my most devoted Follower, I will be freed. Finally... I will be FREE! Approach, vessel, and lay your life down at my feet." Narinder. The third bishop. The bishop of death. The power of the Red Crown consumed him, and it reduced him to a power-hungry, isolated monster; reduced to chains that his own siblings bore. I have a theory that Chemach made most of the crowns, except the Red Crown. Because, as we already know, Shamura made the Red Crown. The reason I think Chemach, of all beings, created the crowns, is because you can see that she has a crown of her own. Not only that, but her crown has multiple eyes; perhaps this signifies the power that she created? Also, you notice her siblings, Clauneck and Kudaii, don’t have crowns. Perhaps the crown made Chemach crazy. Perhaps she wasn’t always a chaotic being, maybe the crown made her that way. And maybe her siblings noticed this change and that’s why they didn’t want a crown aswell. Perhaps the Bishops were this way, too. Perhaps they weren’t always evil. Perhaps the crowns made them that way. Maybe, just maybe… the Bishops were good. The opposite of themselves, if you will. As an example, maybe instead of Heket being the Bishop of starvation, she’d be fertility. Or how Shamura is the Bishop of war, they could’ve been peace. And maybe, just maybe; Narinder was the Bishop of Life, rather than Death. Perhaps that’s why he became power-hungry. Perhaps it was from the crown. He was still holding on to his old power, a power that no other power could hold; life. This is my theory. Anyone else believe this?
I think the reason Chemach is suspended by chains is because her legs or lower half are missing. Possibly made into relics, or their remains are seen on the altar behind her.
Regarding the corrupted video, you should have your OBS save files as flv then have it transcode when complete. Saving as mp4 has the risk of corruption if anything happens to the file at all. Good video, though.
On chemach, it is possible that sje was supposed to craft the crown themselves, and her going insane might be caused by her disobeying the rule to never use one, or might have simply happened and then she made herself a crown Also she is not a bishop, she is a god (most likely), but has no follow or worshippers She is still one of the few creatures outaide of the 5 bishops that are still alive from the times before the great purge
I also find it interesting that the bishops also reflect the four horsemen from the book of Ezekiel from Christianity. Famine-Heket, Plague/Pestilence-Kallamar, Wild Beast-Leshy(Referred to as chaotic by the one who waits kind of a stretch I know) and lastly Sword-Shamura for the fact that his “opposite achievement” is peace and he makes us fight our followers. Death is one of the four horsemen in the book of revelations but the others aren’t as easily tied together so I find that weird.
Lambs are cool but cults are cooler

been playing threw this game on stream and man this game is amazing. Thank you for making this video. Helped me understand the story a bit better.
This was a really good video! Just a question, do you think you’ll do any videos on Don’t Starve/ Don’t Starve Together? The game has a lot of interesting lore and bosses and I think it would be interesting to see you do a video on it.
most of creators don't what touch dont starve.
is very unfriendly to beginners(this is supposed to be worked on in the current update cycle), DS lore was very cryptic and mostly only survive by third party wikis , dst lore is a work in progress, SW and H sit on a weird spot on the Canon and let's not even began on the forge and the gorge
The art style is so cute I love it
THE MAMA CAT AND HER CHILDREN ARE SO WHOLESOME 😭
Yeah this may come as a suprise but the cult leader lamb may not be the last of his kind. If you write cult of the lamp in youtooz one of the items is a plushy. The plushy is of a follower that is called rammie and propably is a ram. Ram means adult sheep so basicly theres a change the lamb fron the game us not the last of his kind. Since in the description of Rammie it states that she is a cult member and may want to take the role of cult reader from lamb badiclu stating that rammie is still alive. What do you guys think of this theory
Rammie is kinda their mascot, they make a lot of plushies of him in different shapes and forms. And they sell out FAST qvq
@@chuu-neko4268 yeah learnt that recently when i saw a rammie for bendy
The fact that I can't name the cult "Wrath of the Lamb" infuriates me.
Maybe Lamb's Wrath would be a good alternative?
This game is the definition of high risk high reward
There’s a new DLC called the unholy alliance that’s gonna be coming out.
A true reader of the doctrine. Praise the Lamb.
I do love the theories of the bishops you put in this video it explains a lot in a way
2:56 once he drew me a card to that made me take double damage (i had a card that removed the possitive effect of corrupt card) or take 2x damage to poison, guess he forsaw my death
I named the great eye “Elipsis”, which is the name of the symbol “…”
Because it sounded cool and fitting
I named him jebus
"Vessel, I relinquish you from your service to the Red Crown. Return it to me, and embrace the end that awaits. With this last sacrifice of my most devoted Follower, I will be freed. Finally... I will be FREE! Approach, vessel, and lay your life down at my feet."
Narinder.
Join the cult- I mean ughhh Discord server! discord.gg/kP9cqpeq9W
Chemach(prob spelled wrong) has dialogue where he says he made his own crown, so he probably isn't a god/bishop
That was perfectly spelled
She*
I really get a feeling of the Red Fox will someday will be next villain either on the new dlc or next game.
Ah it's an old classic going back as far as ancient Greece and in many cultures. Trying to avert a prophesy of doom only brings doom to your doorstep.
Please make a follow up two the lore tablets and other things added in sins of the flesh
Despite Shamura's skull split open he remains as most smartest and wisest of them all.
Are you going to make a part 2 now that sins of the Flesh is out?
Honestly I giggled when you got to Hekt since the way it’s pronounced literally sounds close to how a frog ribbits which is so cute 😭
best vid on yt that ive ever watched , well explained
i thought you were joking when you said mushroom guy died of a overdoes i checked he is very dead
I just peeped, how come we never fight the enemy type of the one who beheads us in the beginning
Prooobably a cut enemy type that was kept in the cutscene but cut from the game proper?
Finally a lore vid on this game
I love this game and this video
18:37 My Brother Named Him "Bob". Just Simply, Bob. No Cool Name. Just Fucking Bob.
On chemach, it is possible that sje was supposed to craft the crown themselves, and her going insane might be caused by her disobeying the rule to never use one, or might have simply happened and then she made herself a crown
Also she is not a bishop, she is a god (most likely), but has no follow or worshippers
She is still one of the few creatures outaide of the 5 bishops that are still alive from the times before the great purge
The traits for the bishops are randomized. My kallamar is a sickly jerk. EDIT: Or, was, before I killed him for stealing my cash.
I believe Narinder (the one who waits) is the father of the too kittens (I saw it in a comic once)
Good video. I have only one question: What is crown? I mean how gods(or not) getting them? That is exactly crown?
Excuse me but does anyone know the music that starts at 0:33?
Now u must cover the sex update
I think you might need to make an updated lore vid for when the sex update drops lol😅😅
He does because the recent update confirms that the crowns or the red crown at least does have a mind of its own.
18:11 he'll steal SOME gold he stole 37000 from me once
stop spamming the enrichment ritual
theres also a detail added when you sacrifice Ratau before defeating The one who waits
its sad this game isnt more popular :(
That statement is a lie
Indeed
Cult of the Lamb got an update, Sins of the Flesh, is hoping for an update lore video to much to ask? XD
7:30
Chemach made her crown herself, she says something like "Did you like my crown I made it myself" or something like that
Sheep man going crazy
I cant wait to try it since this month feels like it’s coming on ps plus finally
Cult of the WildCard
:>
I named the great eye Randy
