Cool video! One slight correction if I may! Sin doesn't unlock when you beat Kallamar. Otherwise once you have the followers to unlock the Anchordeep door, you could rush and beat him to get it. Sin unlocks after you have beaten a third Bishop. If you follow what the game wants and open the doors once a Bishop is beaten, then that is Kallamar. But as long as you have the right follower count, you can open the doors and can actually beat the Bishops in any order you want. So let's say for the heck of it, you decided to leave Heket alone for a bit and decide to go to Kallamar second, you won't get Sin. But then you defeat Heket or Shamura? Do a ritual at the Temple, there you go! Opening the doors early also helps in getting the pumpkins, cauliflower and beetroot early as well. Basically open the doors, do a crusade and you can buy the seeds. This comes in handy if one of your followers wanted flowers to woo another but needs Splendid Vegetable Feasts early in a playthrough. To be fair some people didn't know you could do this. Heck, I didn't at first either! Now I originally wondered about the gods outside of the lands of the Old Faith too. But I am less certain only because Jalala freaks out and asks Rinor, what's with all the cults around here. To be fair however, maybe there isn't a cult based culture where she comes from and they do worship differently there. I'm just not sure currently is all.

The quote given by the devs in their discord in the same announcement as the goat was "Born Of Corruption, Summoned By blood", so, i assume the goat was born as a corrupted goat, maybe they are the god of corruption, not the god of death?
I may have a theory what will happen in the next update what probably is completely wrong. Now that the lamb (and/or the goat) have removed Narinder and his siblings from their godhood some of the other gods (in the lore it is confirmed their are many types of god, but we don't know if Shamura and their younger siblings have killed them all. Haro is the old god of the hunt so he does prove that there probably can still be some gods alive) will try to take over the land of the old faith. The lamb will probably needs to sail to other lands (idk if that will happen but it will be cool if we get more things to explore) to stop the gods and to protect their cult, they would need to built a boat first (Shamura/Kallamar or Haro told them the seas are dangerous and that you need to good boat to cross the seas). So Narinder and his siblings help the lamb to make the boat ready (this will also fit in my idea were Narinder will tell his siblings that he is sorry for what he did to them, they tell they also have regret ehat they all did to him and have a crying family group hug). And when they are at the new land they will have to start a mini cult there to get even stronger (because these are gods who were never wounded by a emo sibling and have even more powerfull crowns) the lamb would need to work and listen to the bishops, because even if they aren't gods annymore they can still teach the lamb a lot so that the lamb can stop those "new" even more dangerous gods.
My guess is that some of the old gods are beginning to reemerge, either by returning from death or regaining the power they lost, since we know that the god of the seasons was one of the ones who lost their power and we see winter happen for the first time in over a thousand years
Imagine any crossover with CotL, for example Sonic the Hedgehog/Cult of the Lamb. Certainly any hero, neutral and even evil outsider would call Lamb a villain at first moment, no better than other villains he faced. Maybe even worse, because Lamb's enemies do not hide they are despicable. Innocent looking Lamb on the other hand makes other trust him, until it is too late for them, like a case with the girl rabbit. Sure, they can be revived, but the trauma stays... and risk of resurrecting them as catatonic or zombies.
Man i started playing cotl like a week ago and almost 100 % the game I love games that are single player but will add content in a update am so ready for the winter update :)
Maybe Cthulhu will be the finale boss? I mean like he could be from the old faith and is called the old one, he lives in the sea, have tentacles, and is kind of a god that can cause madness, so maybe that could explain the mushrooms
2:00 "Found And Lost"..... This line is VERY inportant because it suggests that The Crowns,Well The Ancient Crowns were left behind by the Old Gods. I wonder..... Did the the goat's crown belong to the Old Gods....? And while i find it likey for the goat and their crown are from another universe,there is a possibility it belonged to the Old Gods. This also means we could see another character with a crown in the future! At least..thats MY interpretation of this line.
Just have to say I really enjoy these types of lore videos. I may be somewhat new around here but I'm enjoying it all so far! Thanks for helping me dive down the Cult of the Lamb rabbit hole!
its very possible that the Goat might create a civil war as we all know once all enemy's are no longer a threat allys turn on each other there can only be one all powerful cult leader after all.
havent seen the full video yet but the begining is already very vidicating been telling people the lamb is evil for ages even if you do the goodest greatest playthrough no matter what you are evil, but evryones like "no im being a good cult leader see" you literally cant because even the most basic parts of the game are actually really messed up when you look into them

Wait if there is a main world then 1. Why didn’t the bishops flee into the main world instead of staying in a place that will eventually kill them. 2. Wouldn’t it be funny if the main world was like ours but with animals instead of humans, what if the bishops went there and had to learn how to live in a modern day world. Just thought it would be interesting

Leshy might be based on leszy from slavic folklor, a forest deamon and a ruler or forest 😂 also christanity Lamb is Jezus ( sacrificed for our sins) and goat is always a Satan. So satan is a shadow(bad) of jezus (good). I like how this game uses stuff we know and mix it together
my guess is that there was a reason that they split the island off from the continent Now that the 5 old gods are gone and reduced to mere followers the other gods from the continent saw a perfect opportunity to strike
