When we're looking at all of Gorillaz Music Videos, we see how Noodle is growing up from a little tomboy kid to a mature woman and Murdoc is getting greener.
I’m so happy the artists of Gorillaz made the decision to age the band members alongside the rest of us listeners. Feels like we’re all on this journey together, growing through the years, and looking back on fond memories of the past.
"Clint Eastwood" is the video that swept me into the weird and wild world of Gorillaz, and I really didn't regret being a fan of them after that. So, happy 20 years to the Gorillaz!
@@abcdefg2174 what's your point? I don't mind supporting something I enjoy, just because I disagree with this list doesn't mean I don't want to see more in the future
The best thing about Gorillaz is that they don’t need to nor have to be defined as they’re like outcast’s to other genres with how they use different Types of Genres.
Saddens me that none of the Song Machine videos made it to the list. Sure it had an honorable mention, but I feel videos like "The Pink Phantom" and "The Lost Chord" should've had a major spot.
so many of their videos deserved to be on this list and werent. fire coming out of a monkeys head, rhinestone eyes, tranz, momentary bliss, pac-man, etc.
The fact that they didn’t t include tomorrow comes today is kinda disappointing, since it was such an iconic video that showed the aesthetic essence of Britain during the early 2000s.
Gorillaz music ignites so many good memories of 2000s in me. Growing up sucks, especially when you failed to establish a career or having your own thing. Those nostalgic music make me depressed because of how my adulthood was a disappointment in contrast to my childhood dreams and optimism when I was listening to those songs.
I thought "The Pink Phantom" would at least get an honorable mention. The visuals were simple, retro, and beautiful all at the same time. Also the cute background story of Murdock chasing the Phantom was fun.
Stylo is one of my fave music videos. It has such a cool car chase and the CGI on the Gorillaz band members are top notch! Plus they got Bruce Willis to play the assassin chasing them
This might be an unpopular opinion, but Plastic Beach is my fave Gorillaz album. The album has an overarching plot of the Gorillaz having to run away to a island made of plastic, escaping the boogie man, and finding Noodle. The songs are so fitting to the story, with moments of fast paced music to fit action (Stylo and Rhine Stone Eyes) and then slower but melodical music for emotions of melancholy and longing (On Melancholy Hill and Broken). It just a feels like they went all out with that album.

On melancholy hill has been my all time favorite song, I was totally addicted to Gorillaz when I first saw this video, it was still in my high school time...good times😍
The first song from Gorillaz that I listened to was Clint Eastwood. Needless to say, all their music videos are straight-up comic book desires in a nutshell and I love it. Speaking of, I need to check out The Last Chord. ❤️
clint eastwood is the one that got me. im 13 and i know my mom and dad used to play their music since i was a baby but the first time i really remember paying attention to the words was when i was 4 or 5 and i thought it was about gorillas that were in a cage and one got out
Gorillaz are one of those groups who come around each generation that is hard to categorize into anything but themselves. Oingo Boingo pops into my mind mainly because of the massive amount of additional members who come and go based on the song and Godillaz does this as well. I’m sure there are others I’m not thinking about, though it’s fun to look forward to what they come out with next.
El Mañana Was the First Song By Gorillaz I ever heard back when I was in my local store I saw an the album cd when I bought it along with a CD player I went home and listen to it and the rest was history!
I dig their choices, and I’m rather happy that The Lost Chord got a mention. Am sad that they didn’t mention the surprise Ace tie-in that Humility brought though when they had that mention.
FINALLY HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR WEEKS Edit: glad tranz at least got a shoutput a truly underrated song, but seriously no pac man, that was a good one
Would love to see a Top 10 Parkour movies. I know there was one of movie scenes like 5 years ago, so curious about any that might have come up since, or just in general, top 10 parkour movies since scenes was done already :)
Man I remember when I first heard them. My guy was playing Clint Eastwood and I'm like who the hell is this? Then I watched the video and was hooked. They were just fascinating and extremely different which is what I love. After that, I looked up all their albums and binge watched all their videos. This was up until Plastic Beach. I fell off afterwards. Gotta catch back up with the albums they've released since
My favorite is Saturns Barz. I've seen that Feel Good Inc and Clint Eastwood but the rest I've not seen before. However I have listened to Dare and the previous mentioned songs. Saturns Barz for me though. Especially since it features Popcaan. 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲 Big up
My most favorite gorillaz mv of all time: 19-2000. Good old days of smoking cigarette with my classmates after school then we all head to a pc cafe to play diablo 2.
Besides the awesome videos of the first albums, the 8 episodes of Song machine (Their most recent album, 2020) were amazing videos with a bit of lore and a very beautiful performance of the song
My favorite Gorillaz music videos are: Clint Eastwood Feel Good Inc. On Melancholy Hill Dare Rock the House Stylo Dirty Harry Do Ya Thing Saturnz Barz (Spirit House) Humility
I think The Lost Chord was a bit better than the ranking because it saw the end of Plastic Beach. Beautiful but haunting music & stunning visuals, especially the transitions between real life performers & animation.
I cant believe rhinestone eyes isnt on here. not even on their honorable mentions. thats one of their best music videos. Action packed filled with exciting things. and the music goes along greatly with the visuals
Gorillaz really did just provide a mood for a whole generation.
Gorillaz set the mod for at least 2 generations maybe even 3
Feel good inc for me. It was the first time i discovered gorillaz on tv and i've been vibing to that song since.
for me was do ya thang video then feel good
For me it was Dirty Harry
for me it was dare
The first song I heard of their’s was Clint Eastwood but first video was Feel Good Inc. and I was hooked loved the art style and the song as well
Same
When we're looking at all of Gorillaz Music Videos, we see how Noodle is growing up from a little tomboy kid to a mature woman and Murdoc is getting greener.
What about the other two?
@@makototakara7025 Russell lost some weight and 2-D’s waistline is getting higher.

@@stevemlp6935 they didn’t say they weren’t lol
Clint Eastwood at 10? And then I left, c'mon really, 10! The video is iconic
Yeah, what gives? Clint Eastwood is #1 to me. Heck, it was the video that got me into Gorillaz in the first place.
That part really hurt me tbh... this is why I have a hard time trusting anything that comes out of WatchMojo.
Agree
Because garbage opinions that they know people will hate gets the video more interaction and therefore more revenue and money

Do Ya Thing was great and makes the characters almost look real. Loved the band for years and I've had a crush on Noodle since I was in Middle School.
I knew it... been watching melancholy hills since 2010... and just can’t get enough of it.
"Clint Eastwood."
"Feel Good Inc."
Those are my two most favorite Gorillaz songs.

bad ass
rhinestone eyes is good
One of the few modern music acts that will be remembered decades from now.

Noodle evolution: little kid to woman
2d evolution: D A D
Russell evolution: ENLARGE
Mudoc evolution: GREEN
so many of their videos deserved to be on this list and werent. fire coming out of a monkeys head, rhinestone eyes, tranz, momentary bliss, pac-man, etc.
Fire coming had only visuals for live, never an official video. Rhinestone eyes is just the storyboard animatics.
Rhinestone eyes ;)
@@Iddqd328 There's a UA-cam channel made a MV of Rhinestone Eyes and it got approved by The Gorillaz itself!
I disagree on momentary bliss. The song is good, but the video is just them doing mundane shit
Rhinestone Eyes was never released, and Fire Coming Out Of A Monkeys Head isn’t animated and is just a visualizer.
2:18
“Thanks to the beautiful blend of “2D” and 3D animation.”
That was cringe
The fact that they didn’t t include tomorrow comes today is kinda disappointing, since it was such an iconic video that showed the aesthetic essence of Britain during the early 2000s.

I think that’s one of the reasons why this video was made.
I guess
Clint Eastwood when MTV actually showed music videos. Good times.
Gorillaz Phase 2 will always be my favourite style of the band
Same. I mean Gorillaz had everything at that time…. Hits, storyline’s and more hits 😂
it’s not really like the style has changed though, jamie has just gotten better at art, with much more detail

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought about Mad Max while watching the “Stylo” music video!
Melancholy Hill ❤️
I'm happy that 19-2000 somehow managed into the top three because it's one of my favorite songs!!
You can never go wrong with The Gorillaz
Feel Good inc. is just too cool of a video!

@@reptileepic6945 Really? Most people I know say Demon Days was the best Gorillaz album.

Even thought it never finished getting animated (until years later by a fan) I think the best one is rhinestone eyes
On melancholy hill is my favorite song hands down
They’re geniuses I don’t know why haven’t they won more awards for their amazing videos and music.
Gorillaz was way ahead of its time and still so unique in the way they make music you cant put them in a genre gorillaz IS a genre
I feel like strange times and do ya thing should at least be in the honourable mentions, if not in the top ten
I got my mum to buy the album she only heard the beat, had no idea it cussed and then she still loved it!!!!

I definitely expected it to be higher than it was, though maybe not number 1. On Melancholy Hill is really good.
I remember the video game of 19-2000. It was literally just going on a track with that soundtrack. Was so much fun
