The next drone is the DJI Mini 5 or DJI Mavic Pro under 900 gram weight. Because in Europe is existing a special extended threshold for drone flight license over 900 gram. Up to 900 gram it is easier to get the license.

I can confirm this 100%. Unfortunately, there are far too many restrictions in Europe, especially in Germany, the country of laws. There is a law for everything. The main thing is that you have to get a special permit and pay every time. In fact, the best way to fly is with the C0 and C1 certification. I hope DJI will soon release more drones under 900 grams. I'm actually thinking of the Mavic 3 Pro and even a Thermal Edition of the Air 3 main thing, it all stays under 900 grams.

Hi Bill, IMO the next Mini drone is the Mini 5. I suspect there will be a 1" sensor and a new technology battery for a longer flight time. Minor items like turning off recording on landing will be included. I think that the drone market is now saturated where it will take some significant improvements for pilots to buy in. BTW, it's always a great day to fly!

IMO the next mini will be bumped up to the Air segment based on the current mini 4 pro with MTOW of 349g 1" sensor 40+ min battery and better build quality with twist push props
