Out of all the drone channels, your the only one who revealed that the edges on top hold the propellers. Good looking out!
Air 3 owner here and love it. Just wanted to add that as of August 2023, remote ID isn't in compliance with FAA requirements in the US. Hopefully firmware updates will be pushed out soon. There is an FAA website for drones in compliance and hopefully they will add the Air 3 soon.

Thats 10km range in CE is quite interesting statement. o4 is basically additional 5.1Hgz antenna which more to do with interference and not distance, so quite intrigued is 10Km real thing or not, it will be hard to test as must complain with line of sight requirement.
I have definitely noticed that the O4 transmission is super stable when flying - especially around obstacles where before you might have had cutouts.
Got my Air 3 couple hours ago and thanks for the deep dive over every new feature. The only thing now is to wait for cheaper ND filters.

My Air 3 gets delivered Wednesday and I can't wait to start learning to use it to add more depth and quality to my content! It will be very handy as a "second camera" man as well while I am working on things or doing chores around the "shopstead" project!!!! I've been torn between the Mini 3 Pro and the Mavic 3 Classic, but this one came out and hit all the check boxes I needed and at the right time! Your videos are a great confidence builder for a newbie, thanks for everything you do!

My Air 3 arrived today and is now set up and charged, ready for a proper flight. Have done a couple of take offs and landings in the garden. The thing about the vertical video that I find funny is the UA-camrs who’ve complained about it being cropped but like the fact they can see,on the sides of the crop. Which is possible because the lens didn’t actually flip lol. Just funny to me. I’ve been loving my Air 3 so far. Nice video
Dave, Australia here thanks for the video. Quick question can you use the zoom when taking a still photo to zoom in to subject?
The autopilot and activetracking is nice highlight, thanks! Also nice max speed and ascend/descent speed, but do you know if these speeds are somewhat limited in waypoints mode or other automatic modes? I think now it should track downhill skiing or MTB downhill much better, as mini3pro was not able to keep up , becasue not only it need to keep horizontal speed, but also need to descent at the same time. I've had my Mini 2 for 6 months so I newbie. I've watched 100 videos comparing drones, how to get the most out of mine, etc. I'm a construction PM and use mine for site updates. Most of the videos I've watched show magnificent landscapes, the Grand Canyon, etc. Is anyone watching the videos being made? My drone is a worker bee. I need worker bee videos.
I have the air 3 and also the air2s. The added camera is great for more compressed shot. I'm hoping the ND filters will be available soon. The images are really not as good as the air2s. The air2s has a more organic feel, less noise and no color fringing. The CA on the air 3 is insanely high on water/high contrast areas.
I need help with the DJI mini 3 pro. It says that the SD card is weak/ slow. How can i fix that?
So now it's better to buy a air 3 than a mavic 3 classic?

Seems nice, solidly built but how rainproof is for the British weather. Cameras wet and mould bad mix always been a problem. Wonder if their refresh covers that, maybe?

I have yet to get the Live Stream to work on this drone.. After over 25 emails to DJI its still not working. Had No issues with my old Mavic air 2. Not happy with my new purchase so far.
I've heard how the vertical 4k in the mini4 pro is better. But doesn't Instagram and tiktok downgrade your videos to 1080p anyway?? So the vertical feature on the air3 is just fine. Can someone confirm this?

Aloha from Hawaii. Very thorough review of the DJI Air 3. I currently have the DJI Mini 2 that has provided very good photos and have used a few times for Part 107 work. I think the DJI Air 3 will more than meet my requirements for recreation and Part 107 images and videos. I have used Map Pilot Pro and my DJI Mini 2 for a couple Part 107 jobs and the customers were very pleased. It seems the DJI Mini 4 and Air 3 and not supported by many drone mapping applications to include Map Pilot Pro. Do you know of mapping applications that support the DJI Air 3. Looking for medium to low end mapping applications. I will turn to the Mavic 4 if higher end mapping jobs surface. Again, thank you for the excellent review.
Just bought my new dji air 3 with rc n2 controler, seems signal very weak, i fly 87meter high distance 25meter signal drop then lost then reconnect but only 2 bar 😢any suggestions?

I'm waiting for delivery of my Air 3 from Amazon Canada, it should be here in a couple of days before I receive the drone. I usually have two drones that I use, currently I have the Mavic 3 Pro with the RC controller and the Mini 3 Pro that I fly with the RC controller. I'm disappointed that I will not be able to use my RC controller with the Air 3 unless DJI can find a fix for the antena change. I do a lot of ebiking here on Vancouver Island in British Columbia and always take my Mini 3 Pro with me, I'm thinking that tha Air 3 will replace the Mini 3 Pro as long as reasonably compact.. Great video, but I have a question about my new Air 3: I use pro mode for taking photos, but because the two lenses have different apertures, I have to change shutter speed whenever I switch lenses. Is there a way round this, do you know?

This drone is so expensive I just saw a commercial on UA-cam before watching your video I can buy a military grade drone for under $200 that has the same features so much cheaper thank you UA-cam.
That drone is a terrible fake pos. Don't buy it you will be soooo disappointed
It’s a bit nit picky but it bugs me that they label the second sensor as 3x zoom. 50mm is considered 1x so 150mm is actually 3x optical zoom. 70mm isn’t even 1.5x zoom. That being said the 70mm sensor does look good.
Wide lens is 24mm so 24mm×3=72mm
Tele lens is 70mm (almost 3×24mm)
@@fendrou I understand that but it doesn't give an accurate representation of the zoom. If the wide angle lens was 15mm then the 3x zoom would be 45mm.
Impressive. I love the two cameras. I just began flying two months ago with a Mini 3 Pro that I'm really enjoying, so I won't be changing drones right now. They'll probably release the Air 4 about the time I'm ready... and I'm sure it will be awesome.
I have the Mini 3 Pro, and have had the Air 3 since Friday, no reason to get rid of the mini 3 pro it’s a great drone and still has plenty life left in it. I also find value in having both drones though since they can be used in different situations. Just if you needed a reason to possibly buy before the Air 4 ;)
The only issue I have is the FOV is less than the air 2s. The FOV on the air 3 is 82 degrees while the air 2s has a 88 degree fov. Otherwise it's a great drone. I think it is a side grade to the Air 2s.
Only THE DRONE CREATIVE gives you the info you can't get from other reviewers. It's amazing all the improvements that you pointed out. Funny how you mentioned the speedy hyperlapse times to stitch the video together. I shot one last night on my Mini 3 Pro and couldn't believe how long it took.

Great video, how are the 48mp raw photos? I got some sample shots from another creator and they looked awful but other 48mp samples photos that I have seen online seem to look great and I'm not sure who to believe

It would of been nice to see the Cameras (for Guidance) was taken out wish they just moved them to the sides but still Amazing drone both are great if strapped for cash go for a used S2 Air tell them you want to see fly time but if you can afford Air 3 Fly more combo with new controller with antenna's get it the drone is better in every way I got luck and brought a open box that was just a return I saw the videos on the internal storage the guy had 3 30 minute flights no crash and good lands and I basically saved $300 because the guy didn't want it lmao

Thx, did not know about the ARH feature, yet used the manual one and it went up way too far on a low battery.
Quite often has trouble landing and when I try to grab it from under the drone, it will avoid my efforts lurching away!
It hovers at say only 1 meter above the terrace and so is hard to get below and avoid the blades.
If I turn of the avoidance feature, then I´m not getting the benefit from that either.
Any ideas?

Yep, I took delivery of mine yesterday - yet to fly, but playing with the controls the 1x and 3x buttons are visible on the RC, but when pressing the 3x, it gives a 6x and 9x digital zoom, which look very impressive on first view.
Is it funny that the thing that I found to be coolest is the custom file naming lol

Sorry, you are a bit late on the scene... After watching 20 reviews, comparisons, and things I didn't know, I can't watch another... Since I have the Mavic 3 and Mini 3 Pro, I don't need one that is neither bigger or smaller. On the other hand, if one had neither, that would probably be a perfect drone to select, however, the stealth both in size and sound makes the Mini 3 Pro a really nice addition for anyone, in my opinion...
Does this drone allow dlog in quick shot mode? I found mini 3 pro doesn't allow d-cinesytle in quick shot mode so I can't use quickshot mode now.
Just tried mine for the first time this morning , the difference btw the air 3 and my old mini 1 is huuuge . The descend and ascend speed was crazy and the qualtiy in the image was like night and day
That custom folders is great! What version of the fly app is on the RC2? This feature should be on all drones.

I don’t get it. If the RC N2 also supports OcuSync 4, then what’s the point of adding the external antennas on the RC 2??
On the RCN1/N2 the antennas are on the top of the cage you pull out to attach your phone. I would imagine adding the external antennas on the RC2 was to give them the same height off the controller for better signal strength. Hope that helps!
