You only can go for that frame with, campagnolo super record eps for the group set, wheels Bora Ultra WTO, Saddle SLR Boost Pro Team Kit Carbonio Superflow, Favero Assioma pedals, bars tape you can choose the one you like the most but it has to be Italian.

I have the Campagnolo super 11 record group set on my EPS Colnago and it’s a fantastic combination
Shimano Claris. Preferably out of a bargain parts bin. In the real world, that's all a normal person would be able to afford if they bought that frame. 😄

I'd always go for Campy with a Colnago. Also, at the moment, I'd steer well clear of Shimano, given their latest behaviour of cutting off support for head units (Hammerhead).
🤣, Hammerhead head-unit is rubbish, if it isn’f software based issue then it’s the mount that breaks or the device that goes up in flames while charging
@@MJarthur95 🤣 I suspect that all head units have some issues. But I'd argue that the screen quality, clear navigation and regular software improvements elevate Hammerhead somewhat higher than "rubbish".
@@rgefryer The screen is extremely hard to watch in bright sunlight compared to my now Wahoo Roam. The navigation is a hit or miss, needs a lot of work to get near Garmin or Wahoo.
Yes, they have a very good service after you’ve bought the device, but still for that amount it’s an unfinished piece of Development device/software.
If they figure everything out and get it on par (out of the development stage) then yes it’s worthy.
And oh, that screen needs to change ASAP for something you can actually read on a bright sunny day.
Until that all changes it’s “rubbish to me”

The C68 is lovingly hand made in Italy, nothing from Taiwan in there, so has to be Campagnolo SR EPS, with Bora WTO wheels, Vittoria Corsa or Veloflex tyres and Prologo saddle. Bellissima!!
Absolutely has to be Campagnolo. Make it a legacy build with 12 speed Chorus mechanical, easy to work on, the one bike to rule them all.
Can we take a minute and discuss what the hell is that void on bottom bracket area @ 7:00?

Most likely a Dura Ace 9200 spec for that pro team look and my personal choice as well.

Ultegra Di2 is the most sensible choice.
Regarding the groupset... So much depends on what is actually available ☹ to you right now...
If you don't have any restrictions then I would think that Campy EPS would be the best - there are just not enough Campy groupsets being tested / reported on in the real world by real reviewers such as yourself - and besides, a high end Italian frame deserves a high end Italian groupset...

Got to be Campag Super Record EPS. For those that don't know, this disc brake frameset cannot run mechanical groupsets, electronic shifting only. If you look, there are no ports/end stops on the frame for cables. Wires for electronic shifting route through the bars and stem.
The group set has and must be Campy all the way. 👍🏻🇨🇦

I have super record 2015 on my bike, runs like a rolex. Mechanical and rim brake. Joy to use, I dont need ANYTHING MORE. :)

Great video and lovely frame indeed. I’ve got a quick question if anyone is able to help. I’ve just bought a canyon carbon aero bar and have now got a loose headset. I’ve seen online that you need an ‘expansion nut’ although this didn’t come with the headset. Is anyone able to help? Still fairly new to road cycling so please forgive my ignorance.

Campagnolo record - sacrilege not to. Campag or Fulcrum wheelset. Recently seen a bike made up for a customer LBS C64, Campag record, deda super zero and wheelset fizik 00 saddle. He just retired, it looked amazing.

Yes, it's nice, and yes it's a Colnago, but is it really that much better than other top level frames? Purely for giggles, I'd put either Ekar or GRX on it.....
Sensah Empire Pro is the only 12 speed groupset you can afford after spending all your savings on thay frame.

What a beautiful frame! The only groupset is the Campag SR EPS! By the way, where I am, it’s about the only groupset you can actually get your hands on.

Go Campy. I have a Colnago with shimano groupset. I feel guilty about it not having Campy every time i ride it.
No doubt Colnago make beautiful frames, that said, I had a Colnago C60 for 5 years and I couldn't tell the difference riding it versus other road bikes, it was the wheels and tyres that made the most difference to the feel of the ride. Once you have the riding set up in place I couldn't tell if it was Colnago or Specialized or Cube...now that probably says more about me than it does the bike frame but ultimately it's a triangle with wheels on..... I actually rode faster on my Cube Peloton with Shimano 105 groupset on vs the Colnago C60.
Would I have another Colnago, no probably not, did I enjoy the one I had, yes very much so.
Try the sensah empire gearset and then upgrade to ultegra later on

Colnago needs to setup their customer service again up! I purchased the V3RS frame had issues , now since 2 month at Colnago Milan without any follow-up notification even after contacting them….dealer has the same problem …….Colnago FAILS on their customer service

Shimano 105 . gives up nothing to any groupset , throw on some Absolute Black rings you get a crankset as light as the best ,Reynolds Black Label with Industry Nine hubs . Spend the saved money on a second bike :)
105 is a remarkable groupset , I recently bought the full groupo for my second bike and it’s a joy to set up and use .
@@e3dave744 I was a groupset snob , running mechanical Super Record 11 and Durace 10 on the last bikes I built up . I bought a gravel bike with 105 and was blown away how good it is , in fact I prefer it .
