She aged like fine wine. Her voice is amazing.
Incredibly beautiful (voice and person)
she is 47.... not 75 XD
@@lallaren2
Sorry i can see her mimic working, so no botox
I wish she understood how much she is loved around the world
@@lallaren2 when women age become an easy target to cosmetic marketing, preying on their insecurities, certainly jewish customs and privilege have made this worse
I can’t believe how good she still looks. Her voice has not changed and she sounds fantastic.
True.!!
i Think the voice changed much
She's not that old.
She's still beautiful as ever, her eyes are so pretty.
My 12 year old self is now 37 and Im still in awe in her beauty. I'll always have a crush on her. 😅😊
yes mate!! #metoo
Aging in reverse!!!!!
I swear she looks even more beautiful nowadays then she did when she first did this song back in the day!
😂😂😂
@@jamiew1664 That's not what metoo means
She's still absolutely gorgeous.
@Silver Back I was 15 too… mad to think this was 24 years ago, which is over half of her lifetime!
@Silver Back surgeries exist
Real musicians real singer
Fuck this is what I want hear she pisses all over anybody today shite
I’ve always fancied her she’s gorgeous 💙
@Silver Back she stole the song from some Norwegian singers b side flop single.. Look it up
She has aged very well, a natural beauty and her vocal are great.
surgery my guy
Tratamento ortomolecular. Ou nanotecnologia.
Wow! She sounds and looks good. Great song!
@@brians7604 Then that shit should be publicly funded so more women benefit from it.
Babe she is literally only 47. (maybe 46 even here...)
She's more beautiful than ever. Her voice live is out of this world 🫶🏻
And she had to go and put ghetto tats on her forearm. Sigh
@@jeffreyd508 why.. :/
due surgeries right
@@jeffreyd508 ghetto tats? raised close to the church I presume? "tattos are for sailors and black people son"
get your ears checked.
That voice. Where did you go girl? You've been missed. No autotune. No digital crap. Just that voice.
No joke, this was the most played song on radio in the 90’s.
I remember VH1 played this on repeat.
Wow. Stop making stuff up.
No way was this the most played song on the radio in the 90's. NO FUCKING CHANCE.
TOP 10 MTV Brazil...for a long long time.
because it was fucking catchy and great!
This song and mmmbob 😊
I loved this! She didn't have that look/attitude of, "I've done this song a thousand times and I'm sick of it!" She sang it with emotion and like she was enjoying it. Loved the interaction with the guitarist, too.
That's a point
Just her and an acoustic guitar. No cover up.
She’s beautiful, amazing to see her from the 90s to now
She's gotten more beautiful over time.
Nothing better than hearing her singing so beautiful all these years later!
Except for seeing her sing.
It's not her song. It was written by a woman named Anne Preven. This is how it was meant to be sung, soulful and sad. Natalie has a nice voice, but she doesn’t do this song justice.
ua-cam.com/video/Z6E2whjUOcY/v-deo.html
She still is the most beautiful woman on earth. Her eyes are wonderful :-)
She's so pretty
Everyone tends to diss Pop songs, but this is a cracking song!!😂😂🇬🇧
The most popular song of the 90s but it still doesn’t lose its value!
True!
My late wife and I used to listen to this over and over right after it came out in 1997. Still resonates and her voice is still just so angelic! Thank you, Ms. Natalie, for the poignant memories! She loved this song so much and over the years I cannot think of many songs that really moved her as much.
I couldnt imagine the hurt you feel , this song brings me to the point of tearing up , ontop of loosing your wife combined. God bless brother👊🙏
Rip
❤️🔥 her memory lives on forever with the help of this beautiful song and you. RIP ❤️🔥
She's still beautiful and so Sweet! Time seems to doesn't exists to her! ❤
I was 15 when I heard this song. Now I’m 42 😢
Thanks, I'm 42 too and you've ruined my day. :D
Can’t believe this song is almost 25 years old and Natalie is still as stunning as she was when she was sporting that short hair on its MTV song. Crushing on her until now…
She is stunningly beautiful but Natalie with that short cut, tank top and hoodie in the Torn clip is the very definition of cute.
We are the same age.... We would have been a great couple.
@@symba-uo3os She’s only a few years younger than me but she married a bloke from my home town.
yes
Still as stunning??? Sorry, no. She's very obviously a good bit older. Looks great for her age, but still looking older.
That's how it's done. No autotune to hide behind... a stellar performance.
35 here, and not sound like a boomer, but shit was better even in the 90s
@@gdept88 There was lots of great experimentation in the 80's & 90's. Then the 2000's hit and everyone got lazy and just started putting out the same garbage over and over again.
@liantrosretrospectiva4134 not stupid...but all 90s here knew she can sing very well...
@@lucid484So much garbage, luckily things improved a bit post 2010
@liantrosretrospectiva4134 except this was broadcast live on radio on the day they made this.
Let's be real - "Torn" is a blast from the past that NEVER gets old.
It's a cover!!!!
one if the most beautifulll women Ive ever seens since I was a teen
NEVER heard her sing live before, this is my VERY FIRST TIME for that but I must say she is quite excellent.
Wow! Her first two albums are really wonderful. Always loved that she could match the track and sing so perfectly.
This song is not meant to be played live in stadiums. Here, the live performance works because she does not need to work the crowd.
It's such a pity the whole of this performance - with her joining in the interpretive stuff - isn't available any more on UA-cam. Hilarious, brilliant performance...
ua-cam.com/users/shorts2-yr50vSJOE
I did not believe this song can sound so good live with just guitar and two vocals. Natalie proves once again, she has beautiful voice
No surprise, after all it was written by Phil Thornally, a former member of The Cure.
Who here in 2024?
🙋♂️
YOOOOO! 2024!
Yes
Here! 🙂
Я туто.
She not only looks gorgeous but sounds it too.
Wow, she is just as beautiful as she was when this song first came out. Gorgeous!
Damn she killed it
Wow 27 years ❤
People are looking for that absolutely beautiful and innocent face and that voice and they are essentially still there.
I know this history of Torn, but she made it HER song. I've had a crush on Natalie since the first time I saw that video in the late 90s. Love it.
Bring me back to 1997. Her voice is not changed after this all many years.
her voice seems finer. though i am biased to the original rawness of her original recording. well, i am thankful that she is getting better, than her losing that talent. simply love that i got to come across with this vid.
The Guitarist is a better singer. backing singers are generally better than the lead vocalist because they have to be able to sing harmonic intervals above or below the main melody.🧐
@Lu Luly lol she is fine still, but to say she hasn´t changed since 1997 is pure hyperbole.
@@thewomble1509 that is just untrue. It may be the case here specifically but as a general rule it certainly is not.
@@mav4578 I think you'll find that it is true in pop/ rock music.
To be honest I know Natalie has really good songs and work to her name over the years. But what stands out to me here is not only her wonderful voice but her bubbly personality and enthusiastic smiling spirit despite having to sing this song for probably the millionth time. She's a class act who loves performing live.
I totally agree, boys and girls PLEASE use this song of reference for passion for your art!
I just typed a similar comment! I know artists get tired of singing their big hits over and over and over. Can you blame? I would probably feel the same way if I had sung a song probably hundreds of times. But she didn't seem that way here. She sang it with enthusiasm and joy. Loved it!
She still looks amazing
24 years has passed but the feelings are the same, beautiful song, beautiful woman 😊
Holy hell that sounds amazing! I swear this woman doesn't age either :D So nice to see her voice is still strong and clear
Was literally just thinking the exact same thing! She doesn't age! (and her voice is still awesome) 💗
Still sings great and still looks stunning.
First job she’s had since 1997
She isn't 90, I guess
Yah betul Natalie semoga sehat selalu dan dicintai semua orang, Torn memang mantaf👍💚🙏
Damnnnn... she is so beautiful! Just watched her when she sang this when she was young. Equally beautiful back then and now.
she still got it
This song 24 years old ? A classic from the nineties….I never tire of this song . Xx
Fun fact: The song is actually 26 years old. Natalie's version is a cover, though by far the most successful version.
1 hit wonder and a cover🙄
@@ciaran6309 you know she actually had two more successful singles from that record that were all over radio and MTV at the time, “ wishing I was there“ and “smoke“ and then she had another hit from the next album, “White Lillies Island” in 2001 and that song was called “Wrong Impression”. got a shit ton of play at MTV back before they stopped playing videos. WLI was her last album in the United States until her new album “Firebird” came out last month
@@ciaran6309 Except she wasn't a one-hit-wonder. Get your facts right. BTW that album itself was a smash. Maybe think or even research before you comment. God forbid anyone would have a bigger hit with a cover than the original. Who knew? Eh? Ciaran the shite guitar player.
It was written by the Danish sing and songwritter Lis Sørensen.
Some power nostalgia here.......and Christ she has not changed at ALL. beautiful girl and song.
Yeah man she hasn't changed a bit and what a beautiful woman 😳🥰 maybe because of her strong sicilian genes 🤔💪🏽 my family comes from the part where her father comes from and my 65 year old aunt still looks like she's 25🤘🏻😳
Botox
Beautiful voice, Beautiful woman.
i prefer this version she looks so happy
Perfect example of when you've got it you never loose it..
Only if u take good care of what u have
The pipes are still very much there, at 46. Gorgeous woman, singing, spirit, everything. So many memories from this song.
You forgot to mention it's the it's not her song
@@ghostdrifts9791 so, whose is it?
Ednaswap! I mean you could have googled who did it originally if you wanted to instead of waiting for me to next sign into youtube.
the real singing from heart
Clean, simple arrangement delivered flawlessly. Hey, young folks! This is how music is supposed to sound. No computer enhancement or ‘special effects.’ No thumping backbeat. A stunning woman in command of her voice, with no private bits hanging out. Missed you, Natalie. You’re even better looking than you were 25 years ago, and you were gorgeous then.
"Hey young folks" 🙄

Such a great song and still a stunning woman. Takes me back to when i was 21. I miss those days.
WTF do her looks have to do with the song and her voice? Stop being a sexist creep.

yeah its a great song, I know what you mean, it was a simpler time loads of great music too! 👍
she was already torn
Had this as a single on cassette tape and listened in my car on my way to high school almost daily when it first released ... times have changed , I’m 40 now and I appreciate the memories associated with this song . Glad she’s still singing this :)
There has never been the quality of music again that came out
Of the 80’s and 90’s since , that was the era to be young and listening to all the hits !
I'm 36 now and also bought this on cassette when it came out. The 90's, early 2000's were definitely a special time to grow up, I feel very blessed to have been born into that era and will always look back fondly at that time.
Brought back the memories of the good old days right bro?...im 19 when this song came out and now im 44 on 2022 btw..time flies fast..🥰😢😭

Not bad at all for 46.

We can see how much she still loves to sing this song. Amazing
Wow what a performance, she still as stunning as ever.
20 лет песне, Натали также молода и красива, а голос звенит в душе.🤗👍
Her voice is so amazing and clean 😮
Her face and Voice didn't change.....still sweet....may God always give His blessing and Healthy to her....
Her voice has aged beautifully and sounding even better than when this song was first released................Boy this song brings me back.
Holy cow. What a version.
Очень красиво как и тогда в нулевых:) молодец😎
No AutoTune or even a whole band support needed when you are really talented as Natalie is.She still got it and looks so young and beautiful after all this time. Congratulations.
Beautiful
In Japan, men often act like this.
Superior talent!
I'm not hearing what you are hearing, I hear lack of power, she is unable to hit the high notes and breathy vocals with a f**kton of reverb. To this day i still prefer the version released by the people who actually wrote this song but then I prefer rock to pop - ua-cam.com/video/9OoEdfB7l18/v-deo.html

Most people don't realise it's a cover though.
She’s got a good surgeon
She’s just as beautiful as ever
For her, time never passes, she is an eternal girl 😍
How is it possible that she is just as beautiful now as she was 20+ years ago !?.
She sounds amazing as well. I lost her CD , need to buy it again.
She is still great 👍. Her voice never gets "torn."
Mizz Imbuglia looks and sounds as good as ever. 😊❤️
OMG! She is still so young, gorgeous and talented! I was a kiddo when I listened Torn for the very first time back in 1998 and I felt I met an angel. And I feel so gratefull seeing that this angel is still rockin like the very first day I listened her. I love you Natalie, wish you the best! :)
just beautiful
I just... Agree with it!
❤❤❤ NATALIE 'S VOICE IS SILK
of the best songs in history
She brought out one of the the best completely off the wall but seriously underrated albums of the late 90s.
Her second album was brilliant aswell but very overlooked. I'm glad she tried to stick to the art rather than being overly commercial even though she had some hits.
Left of the Middle was absolutely excellent, I wore my ears out listening to that album and it has everything from deep cutting lost love bangers like Torn, Smoke and Left of the Middle to upbeat fuck the world tunes like Wishing I Was There and Intuition. Every song is brilliant on that album.
She was and still is AWESOME!!!!! Her voice is still gorgeous as ot was when she first sang this song
Just an awesome song and sound!….and she looks fantastic! Boss guitarist as well.
Stunning as ever....😊
She's got so much talent it's ridiculous and, judging by this video, she's apparently able to defy the passage of time too. Beautifully sung, beautifully played and the cover of Don't Dream It's Over was sublime too
Torn is also a cover (well made, but not Natalie's song).
I wonder if she can cook and clean?
@@CoseCinesi obviously. Everyone knows it's a cover.
Had this on repeat in 1997! How time flies. Still one of the best songs ever.
