I saw Rob Zombie a couple of weeks ago and he asked everyone to put their phones away for just one song, as a favor to him. You could feel the vibe of the place lift, everyone was singing and dancing along, that's how concerts used to be.
This is such a bittersweet song for me. My wife always used to sing it, off key, at the top of her lungs. She passed away way too young. Love to see you still sing it with such life ❤

People incapable of realizing a moment is sharper and more poignant if you're not focusing on making sure you can show other people you were experiencing it, while all the while... not experiencing it. I think this has been pitch corrected. It's not because she can't sing, she sings very well and doesn't need 'help'. Fact is, pretty much, everything is pitch corrected and has been for the past ten, or so, years. Pitch correction is different from auto tune, it's not as severe, thereby, a bit harder to detect. This is a live performance that has undergone a good amount of post production, which usually includes pitch correction.

I was in the Navy , 25 yrs ago my ship was in Indonesia, small village called Kota Baru..saw a guitarist singing songs in the street, I approached and sang this song.. everyone came there and they knew the song..what a piece of fame you had in a remote island.. when there was no internet or UA-cam..great memories of great days..!! I dont think shes singing. Theres no way her voice sounds the exact same as it did in 1997. Theres very clearly female backing vocals and no other women. And the bass player sings at times but he cant be heard. He looks a little baffled by it too. Im pretty sure thats the studio track.

Sounds like an energetic live performance but lots of editing can happen afterward. Vocals and instruments can be replaced entirely. I'd like to think it's real and she's a hell of a vocalist. Bass player's mic might have been low in the mix or cut from final edit entirely. As for backing vocals, it's common to use prerecorded tracks in live shows or they might have been added after the fact.
