What is a reasonable cost effective roof assembly for a metal roof in 39470 with conditioned attic (open cell foam) with metal siding with Rockwool ext wall insulation - Roof decking-plywood, currently plan on using synthetic underlayment. We plan to have a dehumidifier in attic. Metal company recommends direct install on roof decking so trying to figure out how to vent the roof/not vent the attic BUT not have a condensation issue.

there is soooo much conflicting information out there and also many suggestions that seem like overkill and not cost effective (ie; insulation on both sides of roof decking plus vapor port plus plus perlins to raise metal roof to give air gap.....that is not cost effective and again our roof manufacturer says roof should be applied directly to sheathing
