I'm not sure about other covers, but the rap alone is pretty hard for one person. One of the reasons that I believe makes it a duo when people cover it, although the covers being duos are also probably due to the original being a duet as well. Outside of that, there are a lot of english covers that, while are good, don't match up with the rhythm. Part of the appeal in some of the songs that get covered. Calli here translates it closely to the original lyrics while keeping the same overall rhythm. It's a separate approach that I haven't seen many of. (Except for like one other in my memory)
Same. for me, i think she in a way deserve it. when she debuted, her old channel had around 60k subs (thats when i found the channel) And i find that downright criminal :') and most of her previous works are all bangers and some of her old covers are really good too. Hard to believe such a talent (and hard worker) has been hiding in the depths of youtube for ~8 years. When she had her debut, and following me discovering her old content, i thought: Where tf have you been all my life Calli? you're one of the few rappers i can listen to. :'D
