Cold bluing preparation of barrel + air cylinder of Air arms S410

One other thing I did was to spray Napier gun oil up the barrel and cylinder before closing the ends. The Napier oil has VP90 in it which is a vapour seal. It will cling to metal at a molecular lever so stopping moisture ingress. I did this as I didn't know how long the part would be off the rifle and not safe in the gun safe. The garage was cold and damp and this gave me peace of mind that no damp air would get in and start it to rust.Let me know what you think and leave a comment.
