When I was landscaping, I belt carried a little cold chisel like that in my Felco holster for all my poking, scraping, scratching, scoring, tapping needs, and it makes a good dandelion puller in a pinch. Something extremely valuable about a small steel rod with a tapered end on your person when your fingernails won't always do the job. Also Felco #2 and #8 pruners are unbelievable edc item for the outdoors -- look 'em up! Little bit more than $10 though lol
I’m glad you showed the tool grade scissors. Plus, the Milwaukee markers are the best, I have many of them and for my use, will not go back to Sharpie.
Our daily carry - telescopic "lady" umbrella. A mini light weight shackle for keys. A Conan utility knife with multiple and brilliant flipping action with a bottle opener & bit driver. Cowabunga mate, we do carry tiny chisel for prying, also attach a pocket clip & a flat ferro rod. We've got scissors in our multitool. We use carpenter's pencil when navigating through bushland, the fine edge helps with precision marking & easily shade areas that we've "conquered" or rather walked through. It produce great kindling to start fires. Sharpies are the best matey, either in felt form or ballpoint. If it gets dry, we just soak the tip into water but grandad just put it in his mouth. We prefer a tape measure used by tailors, it's flat & light weight. No competition there & nothing that can break. Knipex...well we've got our multitool, if we carry a Knipex it will have to be just like yours, that modded one with dots on it. We are into bushcrafting & outdoor activities, we do carry twist ties but only use the type that gardeners uses, just pinch some from grandma's garden shed. More of this vid mate. We get great ideas whenever we watch your show. Cheers cobber.!
I picked up a left handed pair of those scissors during my last trip to Home Depot. I haven't used them much, but it's always nice to stumble across affordable left handed tools.
I have those milwaukee pens and markers literally everywhere lol. I have the pens in my personal truck and work truck because I use them to fill out my paperwork. I have the markers in my bag, my personal truck, my work truck, my lunch box, my pocket, ect. The reason I like these more than sharpie is because the clips attach to your hard hat. I wear a brain bucket everyday(I'm an electrician), and if I'm marking out measurements I'll clip it to my lid, that way I can simply pop it off and make my marks, and pop it back on.
My wife loves those scissors. She takes them out the garage all the time. I think most people prefer scissors to open box then utility blades or knives.
Can you include metric measurements for us that don't live in a country that uses "freedom units" I saw the cresent and thought it looks like a channelock. I bought a cheap one off Temu but got refunded for it because the add shows a knipex one. I was curious if it was real or counterfeit. It was neither. Just a cheaper version. I haven't used it hard yet. I just bought a Milwaukee sharpy thing supposed to be able to write on greasy materials. Haven't tried yet
I would recommend YT channel "Project Farm" and his very extensive testing and comparison video on duct tape. Very informative. I carried the 424 Channellock plier in my pocket at work for about 25 years to augment my SAK Champ. Now I have to get one of those Cresents, they are obviously better. A 4" adjustable wrench was always with be as well. Can't count the number of times those three items saved me hundreds of steps back to my main tool box. I worked in maintenance in a 2 story factory that had a 24 acre footprint so saved steps mattered a lot, especially as I approached retirement age. LOL
Great finds and I'm with you on the gorilla tape! I used it to make a hatchet sheath for an old Estwing around 2016 as a temporary but it won't die, I'm still using it
Another great video! Thanks for the suggestions! I think I'll personally try to check out the mini pliers, the shears, and the Inkzall pens. Maybe even the little tape measurer. I like the fridge magnet idea.
+1 for the husky precision driver. The bits fit the Klein precision drivers +1 for Milwaukee fastback 6-in-1 +1 for carpenter's pencils. Last much longer than sharpie knock-offs +1 for a compact, metal tape measure. Perfect fit for a backpack
Thank you for introducing that Milwaukee knife. I saw it before and thought it is very pretty but didn't know it is a button lock knife. I love everything about that knife. I am buying it. Still, I have no idea how can it be so cheap.
This was my absolute favorite box cutter for years. I have since gotten smaller(and more expensive box cutters) but always have a soft spot for the milwaukee
Man I have spent so much money on tools, sockets, power tools in 2024 that I am kind of upset I spent so much. Only good thing is that I paid cash or debit so no interest on my tools but I have spent 1,000's - I recently moved from DeWalt to Milwaukee and those power tools are not cheap but they are very good. Thanks for showing that you do not need to spend a lot of money to get some decent tools.
I was just at a Home Depot and missed that dewault tape measure. I wanted a small one and settled for the cheapest one I could find. That magnet would be perfect on my desk at work.
I own one and it's a great little tape, especially for the price. I've used the magnet as a stud finder. It's not quite strong enough unless the screw is fairly close to the surface of the sheet rock but it did work in a pinch.
That Husky is a good, cheap precision screwdriver. They had one that came with an integrated led light. I replace mine every year tho. The weather here in FL combined with sweat your pouches soak up will rust the crap outta your tools. Had to throw away a pair of Knipex cobras too. I kid you not, they didn't even last a month. They got so rusty, they stained my pouches, jeans and all my work shirts lol
Hiya! Could you tell me if the Milwaukee Inkallz live up to their claims of working on dusty, wet and oily surfaces? That's an improvement in comparison to regular sharpies, and I don't like the idea of having to keep track of pro vs regular. I'd prefer to just know all the orange ones are high quality. That would make a difference for me and I'd like to reward their attention to quality & detail if it's true.
I guess it's now time too head off too Lowe's for the next Big Box Store run !!! The Fastback is #1 at HD along with the Milwaukee sharpies and pens #2 And the Nite Ize S Biners and the ties at #3 😎👍
I wanted that mini crescent wrench to be at least half as good as the Knipex version. But they were absolutely horrible. They broke the first day I used them. But you can never go wrong with anything Milwaukee.
At Depot when things have been marked down over 75%, they go to 1 cent but fall off their inventory. It;s just to be a sku number holder. You'll never be able to find this on look up from another Depot.
That 6 in one is fucking amazing. Except for the bottle opener 😂. I have never used it, and I actually catch myself on it a lot. I would rather have a smooth top than the bottle opener personally. However I do think it is a good use of space
👍 do enjoy these types of video, it's all about sharing. So, I will also share. Those carpenter pencil, were ever you find them at, there is always a sharpener for them!' Yes a Square peg fits in a round hole. These sharpeners have been around as long as that Carpenter's pencil, and you use them the same as a regular pencil sharpener yet it seems as if your generation no's not of their existence. But now they're made out of plastic..If you whittle with a knife on a Carpenter's pencil, you will break the lead into pieces just like a regular pencil. Just a little flex, and the lead breaks! Now let talk MARKERS, Plan o rubbing alcohol is the carrier that delivers the ink.. that felt tip marker will wick up alcohol back into that marker by simply holding that tip in your rubbing alcohol for only a minute. And the BAM, marker is revised!! Go figure,, right.
Hate the HD Paul - plastic sucks in them - they are too brittle and fracture - will not stand up to sunlight. Better to buy a Rubbermaid® Utility Bucket with Spout (14 Quart) or Little Giant “Duraflex Flatback” (20 Quart) for just slightly more money - much better value. I really like the Little Giant as it has a seriously robust handle.
My god things are so cheap in the US. Here in the frozen north called Canada, expect to pay double for all the things you got...plus if we're talking quality name knives, two to three times your price. Yikes!
The trusty Milwaukee Fastback 6 in 1.
I love mine! Use it everyday at work and at home.
Only the best
Thanks!

0.75 inches = 19 mm or slightly less than 2 cm. Use this converter app. I love it. apps.apple.com/app/id379646417

2 pack nice Milwaukie channel locks $20 with reamer on the end. Small fits nicely in the back pocket

Another great video in a great series. I love these videos bc it shows you don't need to be rich to get into EDC.
Ha I always hit up the Nite Ize rack at Home Depot
Just get the Knipex xs. You won’t regret it. I carry in conjunction with my Leatherman Surge. Awesome combo.
I like the Cobra XS...was not happy with plier wrench version.
Ya dude! I carry a leatherman charge and the 5 inch knipex wrench pliers
@@maxlvledc dude whuuuuuu?! The wrench pliers are friggin awesome. I’m a mechanic though
I agree that is a great combo as I do the same
Great presentation of tools for $10.00 at The Home Depot!
Well done!
The cold chisel makes for an excellent small size wedge

I just picked up the Milwaukee 1505 or the 6 in 1 and it’s one of my favorite daily carry knifes. Great value.
Maybe after a while you should go back and increase the limit from $10 to $25 for a few stores. Might be interesting.
I was just at a Home Depot and missed that dewault tape measure. I wanted a small one and settled for the cheapest one I could find. That magnet would be perfect on my desk at work.

What is that bracelet you are wearing on your left wrist?
Video for twist tie ideas?
I got some gear ties from a friend and loving it, but I'm not very creative 🤣
Your flashlight mount idea came handy today 👍
Good to know! Thanks!
Harbor freight is stepping up their game that would make an interesting video like this

That's the word I got from a few of my contractor friends, I can't confirm personally
@@maxlvledc Thank you!
It wasn't on your under $10 list, but where did you get the metal ruler with the holes in it?
I forgot honestly.
Love these type of vids.

This was enjoyable to watch. I'd have a guess that none of those would be under $10 here in Australia.... maybe the umbrella? 🤷♂️
Yep, I suspect that those of us in Australia might need a higher budget. Still great little items to consider.
Does aliexpress ship there?
New subscriber from the land down under. Love the channel mate🥳
Welcome!
I wanted that mini crescent wrench to be at least half as good as the Knipex version. But they were absolutely horrible. They broke the first day I used them. But you can never go wrong with anything Milwaukee.
Crescent RT-24 eh ?
I wonder if it's available outside Nth America ?
I’m interest that type umbrella. Can you tell me that is name that model please? Thanks!!!
Not sure, will look today
@@maxlvledcokay thanks! I looking forward
Lowe's and Ace. Great videos!
Cool
I freaking love your channel man! 😂🎉🎉🎉

The Klein tools precision screwdrivers are not compatible with 4mm micro bits. They use 3.5mm bits.
Are you sure? I've tried them and had no issues.
I personally wouldn’t pry with a cold chisel. It may be hardened and it may crack.
I think you can find a "painters pal" at H.D. for $10.00 or so. Heck of a tool AND a pry tool!
Please keep making these vids
That 6 in one is fucking amazing. Except for the bottle opener 😂. I have never used it, and I actually catch myself on it a lot. I would rather have a smooth top than the bottle opener personally. However I do think it is a good use of space
I've never owned an umbrella. Lived in the desert my whole life.
Next video: see if you can find someone at Home Depot to help you
I'm beyond help lols
Home Depot is to me as an adult as Toys R Us was to me as a kid.

Not a Milwaukee fan but inksall are the best. I'll never buy Sharpe again
Milwaukee inkzall out perform sharpie wet oily dusty any condition they'll still write
No comments about the scissors/shears. Crescent's shears are amazing, they are the bee's knees. They even make a true left handed pair
Commenting for algorithm.

The $.01 stuff shouldn’t be on the shelf. It’s to be sent back. IIRC
Ohhhhhh!
I worked for Home Depot awhile ago. If you can find the penny stuff on the shelves, buy it quick!
What is the difference with this video and the one from the other night
The other one was missing 2 sections, the chisel and utility knife blades.
@@maxlvledc
Ok I thought that the Milwaukee blades weren't in the original
Why do you have to drop this loudly on the table? You realize some of us are using headphones?
I just watched this earlier why is it upcoming now lol
Had to re-upload..missing sections
The knife will work better with "Kwik Thumb"
So you cant get anything. home depot is extremely overpriced
Lots of great options for under $10! I use the nite ize G clip for my keys as part of my edc and it works great!
