Thank you for making me so incredibly happy. I love you!
El DeBarge has one of the most underrated voices. His falsetto is sublime. Just like his brother Bobby’s-May he Rest In Peace. This family went through so much. Abuse at the hands of their father. Drug addiction. Prison. It’s sad that they had to go through these things. But their talent is undeniable.
Funny that y'all mentioned jackson 5,they we're at one point friends with this family, latoya and janet each dated one of the brothers and then Joseph Jackson made them compete against them, their father makes Joseph look like an angel, he was very mean and abusive to the debarge kids to the point they ended up struggling with drug addiction
Listen to DeBarge love me in a special way, and Time will reveal! El DeBarge gets down! Been a fan since I was 10 years old! Now, almost 50! That's how long I have been a Debarge fan! Great music they made!! And don't forget Switch, Bobby DeBarge, they'll never be...

@@maryewilson2009 I know right? The music back then made you 💃! Happy.
El DeBarge’s voice is one of a kind. He’s easy on the eyes, too. Lol. Check out his brother, Bobby DeBarge from the group Switch. You won’t regret it. 🤗🤗
Props to Randy for starting on this track
I haven't even watched yet and I'm already excited! Debarge is amazing and so many of their songs have been sampled through the years! Okay gonna watch you guys now 😂.
DeBarge's other great hits are:
"All This Love"
"You Wear It Well"
"Time Will Reveal"
"Love Me In A Special Way"
"A Dream"
"Rhythm of the Night"
They also did
" Rythm Of The Night "
One of the brothers,
El DeBarge, went on to do
"All This Love"
"Love Always "
Check them out!
Brings back so many memories of family reunions and seeing my Mom, Aunts and Uncles vibe to their generational music. I know this song from that..., but my favorite memory is watching and listening to my mom sing every word to “I call your name,” by SWITCH. I was like, “yes, Ma! “ Lol love your reactions.
El’s voice is as silky now as back then !!!!
Right! Did you see his Tiny Desk performance?

FACTS 🥰🥰
AMEN
Give Randy his props as well
Watching this reaction again! I must say, Debarge holds a very special place in the hearts of my generation, and it really does our hearts good to see your generation enjoying them so much the same as we did. Their music was truly top tier in the R&B and Pop genres. They are all brothers and sisters, btw, and they wrote the majority of their music: both lyrics and instrumental arrangements. :)
Good Evening ❤
I Love this song
Great family group ❤
Twins continue to be great
God bless 🙌you guy's ❤
This group was definitely a major player to the game of music industry! Music ain’t music without groups like this!!! Truly appreciate good music all the time! Thank U 🙏🏽 Twins 4 recognizing this Group! 😍
Thank you for finally reacting to DeBarge! Please watch "Rhythm Of The Night". And check out the other DeBarge family members in SWITCH: "There'll Never Be" and "I Call Your Name".
Gentlemen, Greetings from Alaska. You must know when I need to be uplifted I turn to your UA-cam channel. I'm 60 years old and your reactions make me happy. They bring back the best memories of growing up. I cry and laugh and jump out of my chair in sheer delight. Ol' school music really is the best. So much history behind it. Thank you for making me so incredibly happy. I love you!
If you liked this please try Love Me In a Special Way by El DeBarge!
Yes indeed!
That’s my song 🔥🔥🔥🔥
WORD!!!
Smooth El Debarge" you send chills up my spine"... All their songs are great.❤
DeBarge:
• Rhythm of the Night
• You Wear It Well
• All This Love
🔥🔥🔥
Aww that’s sad :(
Janet married one of them but her dad made them get annulled.
Yes their childhood backstory is very very sad.
@@fluttie64 Yeah she married James.
Jermaine was also their manager.
Twins...y’all need to make this a DeBarge weekend. You’re helping by bringing us back the memories of our childhood!! More reactions!
Randy on the lead and El kills it at the end...they have dope songs and a couple of major Hip Hop samples from their songs.
Shalimar, Make That Move! As you would say, it's cold! Straight banger!
💕💕 "SHALIMAR " MAKE THAT" "MOVE " 💃 🙌🙌
You have discovered a gem among gemstones.. El Debarge is the lead singer and the members are all family. I won’t say anymore than they have more for ya’ll to discover.
Randy is
Smooth blending background voices...easy listening ❤
Man!!!!! This group was my world from 11-14!!! Then El went solo and he continues to be my first love in my head!!!
Listen to ALL THIS LOVE, TIME WILL REVEAL, STAY WITH ME, A DREAM, LOVE ME IN A SPECIAL WAY!!!
This is a jam!!!
💕 OLD SKOOL JAMS 💃
El DeBarge is a beast!! He still sounds amazing! I've seen him live and he puts on a great show! They all are so talented. Fun fact, that's not El who starts off the song, it's another brother, Randy! They have two other brothers who were in the group Switch! Very similar sound..."There'll Never Be" "I Call Your Name"...
James and Mark
Lol, you guys are so fun to watch!!! Debarge is a fantastic 80's group!! I'm still listening to them!! They've got a lot of songs I like!! Another excellent group is Shalamar. Anything by them is pretty cool!!! 👍🏻😊
This family group was the Goat back in the day. Thier 2 older brothers were in the group called Switch. They are Biracial . Mom is black abs Dad is white.
The film The Last Dragon features Rhythm of the Night by them. You would love the movie about a young black martial artist who falls for a singer played by Vanity.
They're reaction is perfect. Can't help but smile when you listen to this.
Listen to the group Switch. They are El DeBarge's brothers. The song is There'll never be.
"I used to think about immature things, like, do you love me, do you want me, are gonna call me like you said you would, is this really your real phone number. But you know, I'm a man now baby, a grown man, and I came a long way... HehHeh"
Timeless and your reaction proves it
That was My Favorite Group when I was in High School.
@donereally I was Class of 89
I watch these brothers all the time but this is the first time that I put down a comment I think this is a really cool show that they got here on UA-cam it's just another positive way of keeping good music in our ears and bringing back some fond memories while at the same time sharpening all of our musical taste buds and fortifying and making more rich the musical education of the millennials I think we should keep on supporting these brothers keep up the good work twins
I wish they read their comments and saw that u had given them a personal note. Its very nice of u.
All this Love
Time Will Reveal
Love me in a special way
They're all bangers.
You two, make me smile!! As a 55 year old, seeing how you guys are discovering the classics.....just makes me smile. Now, dive into some El Debarge, you won't be disappointed!!! Keep up the good work!!!!😍😍
Y'all are gonna love this one
Williams Kings! DeBarge can put you in the mood to jam! For real lead singer El DeBarge is still hitting those notes today!!!! Thank you for another great reaction 👍🏽💖
ALL THIS LOVE & LOVE ME IN A SPECIAL WAY by DeBarge
🙌🙌 💜 DEBARGE & THESE 🎶🎶
I was a youngster back in 1984 and fresh out of high school when DeBarge released this song and everybody's car stereo or boom boxes was jamming to this song, and I love it!
I was wondering when you’d get to this!
Finally ! Love All The DeBarges
Great and underrated song
Twins Thank You For Finally discovering DeBarge. Lead Singer is El DeBarge !! What A Beautiful Voice.
I call your name and there’ll never be a better love
The DeBarge siblings were so talented. This song came out in 1982...I was 8 years old. I remember my aunties and their friends (who were all teenagers at the time) playing the 45" on their record player blasting the song. It's been a favorite of my ever since.
One auntie had a major crush on El DeBarge, while my other auntie (her sister) had a crush on Michael Jackson. lol 😆🤣
Debarge is everything! You will not find a bad song from then. Look up the group Switch “I call your name” is the same lead singer. That is a monster r&b classic.
The lead singer of Switch was their older brother Bobby.
@@MsMadAboutMusic thanks I was today years old learning that wasn’t El.
@@pillar26 😅. Oh ok. Yeah brothers Bobby and Tommy were in Switch. They had albums prior to DeBarge. El is great though, love him; good solo career after leaving the family group.
"I used to think about immature things, like, do you love me, do you want me, are gonna call me like you said you would, is this really your real phone number. But you know, I'm a man now baby, a grown man, and I came a long way... HehHeh"
DeBarge! That's my song I grew up listening to this own clean up Saturdays. My mom always played their music. I like their song "Rhythm of the Night"
