Upgraded to this from the S21 FE 5G model. Got it for $0 on a 2 year talk and text plan. Best phone I've had yet. Gonna use it for emulation and light gaming.
I think this is a better deal then the pixel 9 when it comes down to it. The chip is faster and you get a nice big screen and a telephoto camera with all the AI and Samsung One UI withch is the best android overlay in my opinion.
possibly, but for a budding creative that can't spend so much on a flagship device this is very good. if they included SD chip this would be the perfect device for someone like that
Because AI is using the CLOUD and NOT your phone! Even the S21FE's AI features preform at the same speed because it has NOTHING to do with the processor of the phone! This guy is a TOTAL clown, and this LAME "review" is laughable at best! He's completely talking through his A$$ and most likely does NOT know the difference between an Apple and an Orange!!
Exynos 9400e have the same CPU cores you find on the Pixel 9 lineup, except Google decided to get rid of the 2.9 GHz dual core cluster for energy saving purposes.
The Exynos 2400e performs at Snapdragon 3 Gen 2 and 3 levels, which is MUCH faster than the Snapdragon 3 Gen 1 the S23FE has. AND does NOT get anywhere near as HOT as the S23FE did and suck the battery dry as FAST! Read my ACTUAL reply I left on this post, as it is 100 times more informative than this clown's "review"!
Never need to buy the FE just buy the base model when it goes on sale. You can usually get it around $100-$200 more, and that's way better than the FE.
Honestly I'm more into the fact that I can heavily use the samsung galaxy theme store and change my whole outlook. It takes great pics, speakers are lit and loud as. I could careless about AI seriously. Battery is superb. I love large screen sizes and this one does not disappoint. I also have the iPhone 13 pro max and galaxy phones are way better than iphones period but that galaxy store texting and web is most important to me. Only reason I wanted the 24 ultra was just the inch bigger screen lol but instead of paying bout 700 for that phone I got this phone no payment required and still a great phone and I didn't settle at all. Very nice size screen. If you have any questions about the feels and etc I'll keep it real lol.. I'm loving it and I've onhadhad it a few days now..and I've never kept a phone for 7 years so I can upgrade next year if need be but for now this is perfect especially for the price yall
I wouldn't buy a Samsung just for AI get it if you you want a big heavy phone to lug around but I would wait for it to go down to 550 or even 479 in the next month or 2
It should have 12 GB RAM. I wanna know...are companies continuosly improving Security of their phones?? Because every year many advanced types of malwares, virus, hacking tricks are getting exposed. So are these companies improving Security??
LOL! Other than using the cloud for AI features, this was HARDLY a benchmark on the processor! That, speed relies TOTALLY on the cloud and NOT the phone! If you were to ACTUALLY do REAL benchmarks, you would see the Exynos 2400e preforms between Snapdragon 3 gen 2 and 3! The other MAJOR issue the S23FE has is it heats up quickly even doing light tasks let alone gaming which SUCKS the battery dry FAST! The S24FE gets NOWHERE near as warm as the S23FE with the Snapdragon 3 Gen 1 and is quite a bit faster! The larger battery, smaller bezels, and better efficiency of the 2400e DOES make a difference in battery life AND will play the heaviest of games with NO stumbles or the terrific heat issues the S23FE has. Coming from the S23FE to the S24FE I LIKE the larger display, smaller bezels, and it is noticeably snappier for day to day operations without a doubt! I used Samsung's Smart Switch app to transfer every over and was up and running with everything I previously had in a short time! Oddly enough, I even get a stronger 5G Ultra Capacity signal with faster speed from T-Mobile over the S23FE wherever I've gone in the almost week, which is also improving batter life. As a REAL review I'll say sure, the S24FE is NO S24+ but I also got my S24FE at a discounted price and do NOT need the features of the S24+ and by NO means the ungodly price of the S24 Ultra which I myself have absolutely NO need for and would NEVER that price! I can't rate the battery as it still says it's "Learning" my usage patterns and have NO DATA but I notice the difference in battery percentages at the end of the day. For me, I'm able to SELL my S23FE and with my discount I get this phone with 256Gb of storage for a little over $325 US dollars - NO brianer! For that price it's an UPGRADE and I NOW get SEVEN years of updates where the S23 series only gets FOUR and you lost ONE already switching to Android 14 leaving you THREE left! MAN, I need to change jobs because "your" review was laughable at best, and I already stated a TON more things YOU never mentioned or touched base on! EVEN the S21FE has "Circle to search" which guess what? Preforms at the SAME speed because your using the cloud and NOT your phone's speed! LOL!! I'm STILL laughing at this "review" and instead call it a FAIL!
Even as a pro AI movement this device is a whole lot of no for me. I use S23 and got the galaxy AI feature set last week. So far I only found two useful thing out of the galaxy AI, the interpreter and the remove people/object from photos. Everything else is just unnecessary... The web content summary is amazingly baffling, are people THAT lazy today? Maybe in America where Chinese phones are nonexistent Samsung can run away with half baked devices like this. Here in Asia, the S24FE is a hard sell. There's Xiaomi 14T Pro which just released and cheaper by around US$100, you add literally US$20 more and you get the IQOO 12. Both have 512GB of memory, and both have much better camera hardware. As a Samsung user, I do appreciate One UI interface, but comes next upgrade cycle, I don't see Samsung on my buy list.
I like moto phone better softwear update keeps me away samsung fe line phone 1 wirh softwaer and security updates give it a 10 i got 21 and 23 fe 256gb thing i dont like about fe 256 have to buy on samsung galaxy website
Most Galaxy AI is done on Google's servers, so it is not dependent on the NPU, which is currently barely relevant. I know Samsung and other OEMs want to push Gemini AI, AKA Galaxy AI. Still, it is better to have a separate video for that, and those interested do not have to waste their time on smartphone reviews. The S24FE is overpriced, and at the launch price, there are many better choices, including discounted S24s. If you insist on buying this, get a carrier deal or wait for sales. I suspect its price will settle at sub-$500 in a few months.
650 for a phone with exynos and 8gb ram in 2024 wtf is samsung smoking bro. I would've bought this instantly if it had an 8 gen 3 and at least 12gh ram
