I'm wondering, if I were to want a pure Sound Q woofer, (hopefully the best sounding there is!) for no more than maybe 136dB at the loudest, PURE Sound Q, which of your woofers, model & size, would reign supreme? I'm guessing either an 8" or a 10"...?Jazz, 70s Rock-n-Roll, vocals, acoustic, unplugged takes, & maybe even some Black Sabbath & GodSmack.Thx
I just picked up what I beleive are 2 x8's but I don't know if they are the v1 v2 or v3 because my subs look identical to the X8 in the video except mine have 2 wires per lead instead of 1 flat braided wire per lead and the spider on mine are black not yellow as shown in this video so I'm confused can anyone please help me identify which subs I have? I need to know because I need to buy 2 recone kits. I picked them both up in a ported box for 75 bucks but 1 is torn and one is avout to start tearing. Please if anyone can help me ill gladly send pictures of what I've got. Thanks Mike
i got an x8, thing is a beast! when people hear the bass they dont believe its an 8 till they look for themselves! it easily takes 1500wrms from a t1500.1bdcp!
So I currently have 1 SA 12" in a custom sealed box running a x1500.1 and it sounds pretty damn good! But it still doesn't give me all the PUNCH that I want to hear. Could you tell me if an X8 in a custom ported box would better fit my needs please!?
DON GIO'S WORLD they are the sub maker lol They make each series from U/ X/ Z/ NS/ Team all at their Claremont NC. Sundown actually has patents for their subs & parts of subs, like JL & Rockford,. Sundown doesn’t copy other successful designs and companies. Call up Sundown at 828 459-1980 & ask for Bryan. Enjoy your sundown subs!
The SD forum is the best place other than here to get updates and release info as well as pricing. The SD website doesn't get the newest updates at all...I completely stopped going there.
