I have an older amp. it is a two speaker amp. So I would bridge my connection. Also I am using only one sub. Thank you for showing me how to install my single sub. Good clear instructions!

With the dual 4ohms in parallel. Do you wire them together at the amp, or are they separated?
I had an 83 Cutlass that I walled with six audiobauhn flame series 12" dual 4ohm. I had the old school Memphis d1000.1 the little chrome one and I had to wire it vertical series parralel have you ever heard of that? How would you of wired it the amp was 1ohm stable

Hey Boss quick question, I just got a SAEv3-2000 installed for a 2 500rms Subwoofers but it seems like the Amp it's getting too hot not sure if this is normal. It's getting hot even with the head unit turned off.

So I'm pretty good at wiring but the system I'm getting ready to put in is driving me crazy. Got a boston acoustic G312-44 dual 4ohm but only has 1 set of posts and you move fuses around to either get a 2 or 8 ohm load and going to a 2 channel monoblock JL Amp but I thought you couldn't bridge monoblocks. So should I eliminate all the fuses and run 2 wires out each post to the. + + _ _ on the Amp? Someone confirm if that's correct or not. Want a 2ohm load.
How many watts will each coil get?
So I have 4 E-Series 10's Dual 4's, which 2 is going into a box and the other 2 going into a box. My Amp is the SIA-3500, in which I know I'll only be able to play the subs at 2ohms. But how do i wire each box internally than to the terminal, then the same for the second box then joining them together to make 2ohms reaching the amp. Please assistance is needed. Thanks alot.

with impedance rise usuallt it will rise to about a 1.5 Ohm or 1 Ohm anyways

It will be the same as you see here. I explain basic parallel and series. Simply put the two together for your desired result.
Anyone know how to wire 3 8" x-8 v3 Dual 4 ohms to a monoblock amp at .5 ohms? The amp supports .5 ohms (Precision Power ICE7000.1D ). Thanks in advanced.
So if im tunring my dual 4 ohm woofers into 1 ohm do i seperate the positives and negatives at the amp and use all 4 channels twist the 2 positives and negatives together and put both negatives in 1 terminal and both positives in 1 of the positive terminals?

No. A single 2 ohm sub is the same as a dual 4 ohm sub wired in parallel. The only advantage in having a dual 4 ohm sub is you can wire it in series to 8 ohms if you have some application where that would be advantageous.

You probably shouldve also explained series/parallel wiring. I think most beginners would need that explanation the most.
I showed how to wire a sub in series and showed how to wire two subs in parallel. Put those two together and you have exactly what you just asked for.
To start off you say to connect it parallel then after you wire it up you say it's for series. Did you not catch that.

I could be wrong but I dont think so I believe u can only do it as 2ohm to amp if u wire series or half ohm to amp if u wire parallel which I dont recommend because half ohm load is sure to destroy sumthin
You didn’t go into the more complex wiring, running series/parallel not all amps can go to half ohm. Like running 2 duel 2’s and needing a 2ohm final load or 4 duel 4’s and needing a 2ohm load. Just some examples. That could be helpful to some of the viewers.
