The manufacturer's website doesn't make the opening mechanisms very clear, so thanks for making this useful video! Really good to see you handling & fiddling with these knives just as anyone would. Great piece of work.
Thank you! 😊
Thank you so much for this video, I was searching exactly for utility knife like crafty and your review is only one and done very well.
You're welcome! Thank you for your comment! 😊 👍
Excellent video. Neither tool is available on the True Utility web site in the USA. Looks like NEBO has taken over selling True Utility items here, but eliminated several models which are available in other countries. The inability of the True Utility box cutter to hold a blade firmly is a serious failure. My favorite box cutter/utility knife is the Giltek RUK V2. Thanks for posting the video and providing a true picture of these items.
Thank you for the kind comment. Many have noticed that these are not widely available.
Great video. Thanks for introducing me to the Mossy Oak, which I'm going to buy.
You’re welcome! The Mossy Oak is still one of my favorites! ☺️👍
Great review!
Thank you! 😊 👍
The designers wasted thier time. The one you opened the packages with is the clear winner.
Thanks for the review. I was going to get one for my girlfriend for her at work but that opening system looks dangerous for non knife people. This would be perfect with a small brass thumb slide to open well away from fingers.
Thanks for showing the action. Take care 👍🏻
You're welcome! Stay safe! Cheers! 😊
Nice review. Did i missed the pros and cons of this utility knives? I really like that generic utility knife :)
Thanks for your comment!
Boss gawa ka nga ng video about slim utlity budget cutters👍👍
Thank you for your suggestion, Sir! 😊🤙
Good review of the products. I would suggest a plain background on your tabletop rather than what you are using now because the pattern keeps drawing the focus away from your product and focuses the camera on the background. I am not impressed with the two products and will stick with my standard utility knife, which cost $5 and has served me well for years. Thanks for pointing out the many flaws in the design of these 2 products.
Thanks for your comment! 😊 👍
Hi, could you provide a link for the generic edc utility knife please? The one with the ruler and the pry par. It looks more useful and well designed functionally than the true utility
Hi! The link to my original purchase doesn't work anymore. The product linked below is the same as mine...

@@outdoorDADventure hi, thank you for the prompt reply, but that page is no longer available. Seems like it is no longer being sold
Those are pretty generic. They are rebranded a lot. With enough digging, you'll likely to find one. Keep safe! Cheers! 😊 👍
What's the blade holder you pulled on 24:51? Is it available in Shopee or Lazada? Thanks!
That is a generic blade holder similar in design (OEM?) to the Quark. ☺️👇

I wouldn't carry either in my pocket but the crafty is nice
Thanks for your comment! 😊 👍

I wanted to see it cut
Where do I get this at? What store sell them at?
Got mine at a local store called Forged PH. But you can go check them out online or maybe at outdoor shops or hardware stores.
what was that first one whe showed
Do you mean the one I used to open the packaging? That would be the Mossy Oak Utility Knife. ☺️👍
@@outdoorDADventure yes thank you very much
Hi!
Hi! ☺️🤙
and the links are no more...
I occasionally see these on shelves. They're still sold online by ForgedPH 🇵🇭.

My mossy oak does not flick out like that.
Maybe it just needs some lube. Thanks for your comment!
Trying to find one of these but can not find one, can you help?
Hi! You can check out these links:

Got them from here:

I've seen them at Kohls
I have the generic one from lazada for 200 pesos about 4 us dollar and works good,🤣
Awesome! ☺️👍
Thanks for your comment!
First one is a horrible design, period. Second one is still blown away by the Gerber EAB, which I'll stick with.
