- They call me the King of Haulover for a reason ! I was able to get the blessing from the owner to show the entire refloat of his Glasstream 32. To make this video even more interesting its paired with twin Mercury Verado 300 HP Outboard engines. The same engines of the Sunk Verado Story ! The Ramps at BlackPoint Marina were watching with amazement as this boat was coming back to life. Today we had pros working and we even have a very special clip of Fred the Crocodile a clip that I knew one day I would see.Its a long video i wanted you guys to see the entire process and boat tow companies can use this as a guide of how to refloat a boat.
The Captain and diver at Tow Boat Us Did an amazing Job !
Special Thanks to JJ for making me look like a Bi--ch on camera !
Amazingness thats what we do !
My name is Alfred Montaner Host of the Chit Show ! - Спорт
Alfred handled that like an adult, refreshing and a lesson for people negotiating.
Yeah, and we got to see that no challenge is too great for those rescue tows. I did wonder if Fred was watching? They were working so close to his snack bar and then he surfaces minutes later. Yeeps!
He had no choice him and his zoom lenses going for a swim with Fred 😂
Agreed, it's dumb to engage in childish behavior.
That’s the type of guy that rips by when your fishing and makes a big wake. Couldn’t have happened to a better guy
how the hell would you know that?
agreed ! take pictures and you're gonna go swimming. I would have said come over here and you'll join your boat.

Lol so true he's definitely one of those douchebags
To hell with that guy! He can’t tell you what can film in public 😎 Chit Show must go on! 😂🍻
Heck, I sunk a 5hp Yamaha brand new that my grandfather got on his birthday in 30 ft of salt water. We got it back , put it on deck and washed it with fresh water... it fired right up.
Many of us would never see this without your video. So many rooting for the owners recovery of his boat. Very interesting!
What he upset with you for, you didn't sink it. You providing a educational video on how to do a recovery..
His ego was bruised a bit.
When shit happens to me i always look to see who saw it. It's embarrassing dude. Do you like feeling embarrassed in front of the whole world? Maybe we film and air your shit streaks LoL
That was interesting! Can’t believe I watched the entire video!! Well done.
Great decision to work it out so that you could share this; ANDawesome that you included the message "keep the water clean!"
Wow, kuddos to you for giving this man so much grace. I'd like to think I would respond the same when he was angry you were filming. Your empathy made me a bigger fan than I already was. Thanks for being kid bro!
Thank You Al for showing us the WHOLE PROCESS of the boat being Re-Floated!!!! Very Interesting. It was a long VLOG but NOT BOARING AT ALL!!!!!
Boring
I have mad respect for how you handled this situation AM. Nicely done sir
I did salvage years ago and the best thing for a submerged outboard is to leave it until your ready to start working on it! Otherwise, if pulled from the water and left sitting more than a few hours the salt will crystalize in the cylinders, rings , and other critical components, once that happens its a expensive paper weight!
He did say that keeping it in water helps bcuz it oxidation that eats at the metal ( not in the same words) n also Merc does an excellent job in their manufacturing processes of metals to salt water !
@@lindabenedict2632 Right, once oxygen reaches the salt water it begins crystallization. I have started outboards that were submerged for weeks, and immediacy pull plugs fog cylinders clean off and check electrical system, hook up new battery and crank them up! Mercury has gotten better over the years, but Suzuki and Honda have the best protection and more stainless fasteners.
I lost a little 2-stroke 4hp outboard off the back of a little sailing cabin boat while it was running, and it took a week before I could get a grappling hook on it to recover it from salt water.
I pulled the plug and cycled the motor after cleaning out the carb, and after replacing them, it started immediately and ran a treat.
Never had a problem with it afterwards.
That’s what you call a respectable towing service for boats
His pride went down with the boat which made you an easy target to lash out at. Just how some men seem to be when something happens to them. Funny he even took the time to acknowledge you. Thank you for sharing. Happy Day
Just put it in a bag of rice! Easypeasy!
And some Teriyaki sauce.
You're right, that's every boaters nightmare. I'd be crazy upset as well. That being said, this is one of the best videos you've shot. Very interesting the process to recover the boat. Thank you for showing it and to the owner for allowing us to see it.
I thought you handled it very well. Good job as always. That guy had a bad day. The pelican had a worse one😂😂😂
Crock had a good day
Fred is hungry 😋
Yeah, I'm glad Alfred cut that clip short. Did you see Fred in the King tide vid? Missing his scobbie snacks made him snappy.
Me too.
@@debistanley2791 What happened in that King Tide video was simple, Alfred was making noise on Dock 9 behind Fred the Croc and that just startled the Croc. He quickly turned, saw it was a Human and then went to Deeper water, nothing more. Have a nice Day.
Alfred, you did not do anything wrong by posting this vid! Whether the owner wants you to or not. You have every right! Most people have never seen this kind of thing happen... and your excellent coverage of the situation created documentation of the accident and can be used as a learning tool for others. Plus like you said... 50 other people have already shared it on their social media and 50 of their friend shared it and so on. It's not like there was a body or a death and you were being disrespectful! Please keep doing what you do because it rocks!
When you are thirsty you get a drink 🤣🤣🤣
Read the description......Alfred worked it out with the owner and Fred!!! Alfred does awesome at showing empathy even when sympathy isn't deserved!!
Tons of respect for the recovery guy. Absolutely no help but he gets it done
How’d the boat sink?
We appreciate you taking a swim with Fred for our viewing pleasure, Alfred!!
Alfred the Man trying to keep the waters clean by asking a boater to grab debris. Good job man.
Thanks for sticking with the whole process of raising the boat. Really fascinating watching it.
Alfred, totally enjoyed your vid. I’m 62 yrs old n about 2 ugh no, probably 3 decades ago changed an impeller on a Volvo penta underway so I appreciate learning even at my age. Thanks Dude
As a life long boater in the Miami/Ft Laud area and one that lives on the water and keeps their boat in the water I can probably guess what happened. Boats like that usually have very little distance between the deck and outside water line. Meaning if the deck drains overboard there is no much distance. Should the boat become heavy then water will actually flow in the boat through the deck drains and result in this. Clearly the plug was in so that was not the cause. If I had to guess, the boat had a leak like from a thru hull for the bait well or some other thru hull fitting below the water line. Maybe a broken hose or broken fitting. The bilge pump kept the boat floating until the batteries went dead. This is assuming of course the boat was docked there over night. Bilge pump was probably running all night long, once the pumps stop the water rushing in through a broken thru hull will sink the boat in 15 mins. We would not see the water coming from a broken thru hull when the boat was lifted out because Sea Tow pumped most of the water out. Scenario #2 is the guy shut all power off which included the bilge pumps and left the boat docked over night. Maybe it rained that night, the boat took on just enough water from the rain to put those deck drains under water and the rest is history. Had the bilge pumps been working it could last all night pumping rain out before the batteries went dead.
Gutsy owner in water with croc
Thanks for staying on the boat that needed to be lifted. I had not seen this before. Hope the owner didn’t lose in the end.
You're a good man Alfredo....
We're California boaters and we enjoy your boat reviews, el setenta y nueve, and of course the chitshow! My wife is Cubana and she laughs when I watch your channel. She asks if I understand what you're saying, lol...not really. It's nice to see compassion for those in dire yet we still enjoy laughing at the those in chit. Gracias papá
Big ups to Sea Tow....a iob well done...👍
The pelican probably filled Freds belly....that diver was safe 🙄😉😊
Thank you Alfred for the video..😁
👍 "And yes to Sea Tow" big Kudo's. And thanks for the coverage Alfred...👍
P.S. I rate this VLOG a 10..... My boat sunk twice @ the dock. Bilge pump 1st & Float switch 2nd. I know what it feels like :( BIG TIME!!!! Alfred I've been watching you for only 3 -4 months now & personally I think you've got all the South Florida, (aka) Miami VOLGER's BEAT!!! Your sittin' out there in the HEAT & with bug's & FRED!!!!!OMG!!!!!! Your narration is AWESOME & respect for fellow boater's is duly NOTED! Rock-On BIG Al!!!
Great job Alfred working it out with the distressed boat owner. Classy move. Another guy would've disregarded the owner and just posted. Hats off to the Sea Tow captain for a great job. Did they ever find the cause of the leak, why she sunk?
Those tow boat USA and sea tow guys are amazing. They have rescued lots of boats over here in Cape coral after the hurricane
Sad sad day. Was interesting to watch glad he let you post the vid thanks
When it gets that bad you better be able to laugh at yourself, nobody is permanently injured, life goes on.
Alfred your video is amazing, you’re a class act waiting for the owners OK to show this. Thanks for sharing. Kevin
Thank you to the owner for letting Alfred film the process. Very nice boat, happy its now above water.
I take pleasure in it! Thanks for sharing.
My boat from the 80’s is laughing at this... Aquasport gang.
As much fun as It is to watch the boat wrecks and recoveries I always feel bad for the boat owners. I know it sucks to loose your boat to an accident or to another idiot on the water but I do take notes on what happens at every accident. So thank you all for sharing in your grief....
I just found your channel and listening to how respectfully you handled this situation with the owner tells me you are a really good person!
SeaTow, worth every penny!
Good job in handling the situation as you stated no not owner takes pleasure in seeing another owner having boat issues. I have always helped other owners when they have had boat issues, even made a new friend when I helped another owner out. We all can learn from these type of issues
That was great to watch...thank you for showing the whole process...even tho I do feel heartbroken for the owner. The video was very educational, and the tow did a great job. Just sorry for the owner...thank you!
So sad to see that nice boat full of water! Excellent job videoing this. You handled everything very well. Glad the owner gave permission for you to post.
Glad they saved it fir him.
Zooming in and shouting out the man who lifted it up, while he's shit eat grinning was one of the most wholesome things I've seen in awhile.
"Keep our waters clean. It's important." Damn right! I like you.
That was a great video and that guy can take a hike when it comes to telling you not to shoot it. You don't owe us an apology!
I am a brand new boat novice. This was very educational for me. I never knew how sinking boats were recovered. It must very very costly for the owner. My prayers are with him.
Mandatory boat 🚤 insurance will cover most of this ,unless the underwriters prove negligence on behalf of the owner and believe me if there is a back door for the underwriters they will find it.
Don’t forget your life jackets !
Yes, don't sink your boat
Glad to see you filmed the whole recovery. Love the “Chit Show”
Amazing, Respect. Nice to watch people who are good at what they do in action. Fantastic job.
Very Sad For The Owner, But Chit Happens!

There is no expectation of privacy on public property..
I like the "No overnight docking" sign behind the guys head

Well that sucks that his boat sunk but it was really cool to see how they recover the boat and your narration of how they are going to save it and bring it back to life was informative.
The owner needs to be outed due to ignorance. He’s making the chit show amazing... WAIT FOR IT!
Ignorance is right!
Like it is our fault his boat 🚣♂️ sank
Be interesting to know what exactly happened.Great job on documenting recover
What a punk

Dude, sorry for your loss... I know you love your boat and all the pleasure it gives you, and I also know that it will be very expensive to repair...
Would be cool if he would do an interview about what happened and if he would be willing to document the repair process.
Keep watching!
Did you see the size of him? He obviously boarded the boat, causing it to capsize.
You may not take pleasure in filming this, but I take pleasure in watching it!
First of all what boat company is putting 2 holes below the water line, now Danny T thinks it's because the bilge pumps stopped running?. Now in Alfred's video you can planely see 2 holes on the starboard side of the boat well below the water line, what i would like to know is who built that boat?.
Great video I can't believe how quick that recovery was! It's a blessing it didn't sink off shore somewhere!
(Could've gone w/o seeing the pelican being eaten, but hey that's just me. 🤷♀️
Crocs are bad swimming companions
Guess I can honestly say. . . Thank You for your service Dude 👍
That's one impressive fork lift. Thanks for showing what goes on in that building, been wondering for some time!

@@bruhmoments1046 Correct it was 70K… But what could have I done? 70k for me was a lot of hard work😔
Anthony, please create a shirt 👕 that says "wait for it" with your internet address and chit show 😉. Love this channel I have witness all this at various docks.
You know this man was dr adding your presence all the way back to the dock. Chit happens to everyone. Precious cargo only adds to what must have been a terrifying situation at sea. Props to Skipper for jumping in and hooking up those floats and perhaps he will just toss you in the drink. You tell 'em you're on Fred watch 24/7! Safety first, right? I watch from Ohio with my cat. We thank you, honorary harbor master. 😊
I feel for the sea tow guy he has to deal with the owner!
The owner is a real charmer eh? He's got some legit karma right there and I'm sure more to come.
Drain plug mafia. Strikes again
@@southside8510 But they took the drain plug out on the dock or had it been replaced while submerged. Drain plugs need to be attached to the engine start key. All the water ski boats I've driven had a split rubber diaphragm fitted to the drain hole, any water in the boat would drain out but none could get in. My 1930s wooden boat didn't have drain plugs, the cockpits drained over board and the bilge had two auto pumps, each wired to separate batteries, the problem I had was the shaft seals would drip after a 6 or 8 hr cruise, these was cured with a few pumps of grease on the stern gland. There was also a standby generator on board and a submersible pump. the later I never used in anger for the 15 years I owned the boat.
Worked on a tunnel job where two tunnel boring machines got flooded with sea water, the back up gantry's were towed out of the tunnels. A specialist cleaning company flushed all the system with fresh water, opened them up and air dried them with fans, no heat was used. 90% of the electrical items were put back in use. The main power cable were only effected on there ends, the cable were treated with a high charge and that drove the moisture out. That was done by a specialist company from Iceland.
👍⭐️Sea Tow did a terrific job. 🏆
I cannot imagine how I would feel if that happened to my boat.
Hopefully you will be able to add some info if your in contact
to actually what happened.. MAYBE..
thank you to the owner as well for letting Alfred capture this on video..

I feel for owner. Hope the engines and hull can be serviced back to working order. Those bags are the bomb for lifting
I would of put the video up in a heart beat after that initial encounter. Tell him ill give him $15k for the fiberglass hull or he can go through the insurance. The motors and electronics are toast.
Love your channel but only recently discovered it (and UA-cam) watching your help w/hurricane Ian victims. Again - you r appreciated ❤

Alfred, I thought you handled yourself like a pro filming this chit. This video will be a great source for anyone needing to how a small vessel is recovered from a sinking. I certainly would be upset too if it were my boat. It seems to me the sunken boat Captain's anger began to disappear once he saw his baby starting to float again. Good job. Take Care, ASH
Nice job Alfred. I watch the entire show. It's much better than what's on TV tonight. Thank you for doing what you do!!!
I would watch this video and the chip show all day long before I would watch one thing on ABC, NBC, or CBS! Note: any news on how you're going to give away your Verado?
I sure would like to enter. I had to retire early from nursing 20+ years, for our veterans at the VA, due to my own military injuries.
As a result, I couldn't afford to buy a boat after I moved down to Corpus Christi.
I have my eye on an solid older 23' Grady White WA hull for pretty cheap. I would love to be able to help other veterans by taking them fishing.
