@@BenMarriott , you don’t know how true this hits to home. I grew up very poor and my Mom would load me and my three sisters up in our car, every year, and we would drive across the river to another city where there was this old couple who my parents knew that had a color TV, just to watch the Wizard of Oz so we could see it in color.
This made me laugh, and I learned some new tricks! Might have to rewatch it because at the minute I am just thinking of how to avoid poorly cleaning my windows. Thanks Ben! Great tutorial, as always!
Oh yes. I was waiting for this. I have been wanting to make one of these for at least a year but was too intimidated by how awesome my favorite ones were.
finally got around to doing this. Really great! Sadly it didn't take ten minutes...maybe one hour. haha. I did it in apple motion so that was fun. Thanks alot
I’ve been doing this style for a while now. Camera Lens Blur is my most used effect by a mile. It works even more awesome by creating a blur map with alpha channel on a masked black solid!
Hey Ben this tutorial was really helpful! Thanks a lot! Also, I saw these amazing credits in a Netflix film called Polar. Would you be able to make a tutorial for that please? The text and image effects are crazyyyy🙏🏾
Fantastic!. Luv the tip about the textures, parallax and rotation - sorry but consider my next project a rip-off! Oh and the woman buying the car - yep satire burns, Netflix, innit? KP
6:53 "I really want this imagery to be specific, so it shouldn't feel to familiar or generic... So I went to a stock site and searched the word 'crime'," Hahaha.
Hi Ben, this looks fantastic, however the file you've kindly supplied, on unzipping it says the 'file doesn't exist' even though the two files are plainly visible before trying to open it using CS6, is this because it won't work with that? Thanks for all the tuts!
EXTREME noob with all things adobe. I have downloaded the project file. I made a couple additions to it, and I want to extend it to 10 seconds instead of 5. However when I do, the title stops moving after the 5 or 6 second mark. I can not figure out how to get that effect to continue throughout the whole 10 seconds. Does anyone have any advice on how to change this?
"And sepia is that slightly brown tint that the past tended to happen in." 😂
People didn't see in colour until the Wizard of Oz

ben is the best at articulating the tone of every creative detail put into a design
Ben laying it on the Walking Dead, Making of a Murderer and crime shows in general is the stuff I never knew I wanted. Love the sarcasm!

Thanx! After watching a video of yours, some time ago now, I always name my Laye’s while I say out loud those words, we always name our layers🤓
Your videos are some of the best on UA-cam
I always learn so much from Ben's tutorials, like which crimes are good and bad.
You're the best .... I wish I could work that fast and get such a great result
The true crime is anyone not being subscribed to Ben Marriott.

The sarcasm is hilarious Ben 😂. Lovely tutorial
That Walking Dead call out about not using Repeat Edge Pixels was like the animator’s equivalent of a mic drop. Damn that was good 👏👏

"Which isn't a productive use of their time at all." LMAO
Get this guy a mic!!! I thought this was an AE tutorial, not a stand up gig!
Have you already made a tutorial showing how you created your intro? Sorry if this is a dumb question.
