I had this weird anxious feeling that kept growing during the video. I couldn't put my finger on it but i knew something wasn't right or something was missing. It kept growing and growing until finally, when the flame of hope was about to go out, less than a minute before the video ended it happened. "We always label our layers". At last, I let out a huge sigh of relief. All was well in the world.
I should note as an additional point against the London Olympics logo that it's a roughly square shape composed of four sharply bent arms. Those are just risky in general.

The 2012 London Olympics logo didn’t cause epileptic seizures nor looked like it spelled Zion but straight up reminded the world of the Swastika of Nazi Germany
That little nudge on the animation in transitioning to the original logo undermined the entire effort. Or you just couldn’t help yourself. Either way, damned hilarious.

I just want to point out something to note (about 2012): *the Mayans **_didn't_** have an End of the World prophecy.* You see, the ancient/native Mesoamericans keep track of time differently from how we do it: not only do they have a base20 counting system (compared to our base10), but they also have what's called the Long Count, which counts the _days_ passed since the mythical Day of Creation. The highest order of the Long Count is called a Bak'tun, which contains 144,000 days. December 21, 2012 just happens to be the 13th Bak'tun. (the turn of the Bak'tun?) And we all know how most of the world interprets the number 13, right? In reality, it's just supposed to be some kind of "anniversary" for the creation of the world.
