There are 3 kings in this series 1. The defending White haired king 2. The attacking black haired king 3. The current emperor The defending king is forced to surrender by the black haired king in the ceasefire trap series, he is in fact a respected king. It's just a battle between two kingdom that set before the current emperor(the fat king) reign. The revolution series set in the emperor timeline, the last card is retord.
There are 3 kings in this story: The king with black mustache in "Conscription" and "Royal Decree" is the king of a strong country, and declared a long war on his neighbor. He ultimately won the war against the king in "Imperial Order" artwork. His country would later merged with that neighbor country after a forced ceasefire to become a huge empire. The king with short hair and white beard in "Imperial Order" is the defeated country's king, he was actually a good king, but he died in the war as the monster "Frontier's Wiseman". That's why he didn't appear in the artwork of "Ceasefire". But before he died, the king created a secret force in "D/D Recruits" to disrupt the empire from within. This force would later disguised as "The Exiled Force", a bunch of rogues and exiles that worked together as mercenaries. The tyrant in this story is the son of the black mustache king. He had been born in riches and luxuries so he had the tempter of a spoiled kid. "The Exiled Force" seized this opportunity and sparked a huge revolution, and ultimately freed the oppressed people. P. S This is just my interpretation of the story.
i just wanted to point out that the king, the emperor and the tyrant are 3 different entities, you can see that in royal decree there is the king present in the "conscription" card art work and has a crown and dark moustache/beard, the emperor is the one with the big hat and white beard, the tyrant is the fat one. the chronological order of this video is all messed up. sorry for the bad feedback but i just wanted to point out the facts
Honestly in the ceasefire and forced ceasefire, the King is forced to surrender to the emperor, that mustache man. he is indeed trying his best to protect his country but yeah he probably got executed by the emperor. The wiseman chalice is the surrendered king, that should be enough to explain why he is actually the good guy in the imperial series
I think those were the D.D warriors since those were humans who were banished, D/D/D are demons who go about exchanging contracts as a part of their busyness
First of all screw that government system. This is probably one of my favorite lures in Yu-Gi-Oh and I really do enjoy the normal cards used to represent the people's revolt.
Most people are saying he was actually a good king and he was just fighting a neighboring country before dying and being replaced by another king and the emperor.
This is exactly what i was looking for, I was making a deck and saw the united resistance card and thought it looked very cool but forgot to look for card lore. Nice video 👍
i didn't realize how deep the lore goes for this archetype (if you can even call it that), really cool ! one suggestion though : it's kind of a minor issue but when watching a lot of your videos I find the background music to be kind of annoyingly repetitive, imo there would be a lot of benefit from finding different tunes to fit the theme of the lore explained in the video in any case, keep it up !
Need an revolution people and tyrant king monster decks for funsies. Konami where u at, it's ok too make more side lore just give albaz just a little rest. Give some normal monsters a little lore run again
But it doasn't make sence given how the Kings look diffrend from one another not to mention if they have overtrown the emperor why not also the King? I think maby history repeated on itself. But the actual King of (for example) Imperial Iron wall was the founder of the Kingdom. Later on, maby generations, there would be an emperor in charge wich didn't do well and was generally lazy and spoiled so the people rebelled against him putting a new King in charge not knowing that thus King would be ecen worse than the Emperor they had before turning into a Tyrant. Also along the way I think that the Exiled forces took over and put themselfs in charge of the Military bringing corruption into the armys of the new King to wich they are loyal to in any way as seen by the negociations done with the forcefull centry.
The horrifying thing is every card they appear in is powerful floodgate if the kings turned into monsters they will be level 12 need's 3 tributes and cannot be special summoned with the three kings having quick effect floodgate
If you put all of them together, you would have pyro, thunder and aqua, which would be red, white and blue. This make the French flag, and what else is connected to France? The French revolution

When DPE was a staple card in Master Duel I loved using The Huge Revolution is over.
I always thought we had one to many of those kingdom/tyrant/opprresion cards in the game. Never thought they held a story like this!
0:42 lol glad to see confiscation
this content is so sick
someone needs to build a deck with these cards
I can't wait until you get to the duel terminal storylines
I will add some cards to the lore like "The Humble Sentry", "Quiet Life", "Inspection" and " Forced Requisition " . I think that will fit on this lore

What an incredible story about the huge revolution card. Maybe I should see if I could make a deck involving it
im literally trying to do that now haha

What’s the background song
It's the lake theme from pokemon dp.
