Also this scene shows exactly how good of a speaker Ubuyashiki is, as he could make even Muzan listen to him.
My personal theory is that he must be an empath. He can tell what people are thinking and feeling and he used that ability to encourage, nurture and build up as many demon slayers as he could, and in so doing created the strongest generation of hashira that the corps has ever had.
Which is a perfect opposite of Muzan who enslaves people by turning them into demons and making them dependant on his blood and goodwill to survive.

Ubuyashiki has that empathetic nature that allows him to bring something someone needs to hear, and in spite of Muzan's nature, he seeks something he wants and something to hear interesting in his life of pure boredom in finding eternal life without fear of death. Also, it's as if Muzan wanted someone to actually communicate with, who understands him, that doesn't annoy him and mostly someone who's not just gonna talk shit about him but show him rather what he's done. That's like the most effective solution or way of talking you wanna approach someone like a child who is not listening

I felt like he had the perfect weapon to counter that blood attack. Of course Muzan was weakened at the time, but probably not by much. Strongest Hashira indeed.

@@slimane2854 The explosion weakened Muzan a lot. He was also trying to regenerate his body at the same time, Gyomei himself said how much power he had in reserve.
Muzan himself said he was weakened and went killing the demon slayers to regain his strength.
We saw how strong he was on the 2nd drug. Muzan at full power would 1 tap Gyomei.

Master's daughters probably played with ball in front of Muzan to put him off his guard.
Because Master's daughters were there, Muzan never thought that Master would involve his wife and daughters in his attack. So he let his guard down.
In addition, the daughters knew they were going to die, so they probably played with their favorite ball before their final moments.
that is dark af. but it works, when you are told you have a duty from a very young age, a duty that is above you as a person.
The master considers the whole demon slayer corps to be his children. He grieves all their deaths, they are no less precious to him than his children by blood. He has sent a great many of his children to their death all for the purpose of defeating Muzan, and just as with those two children he didn't force it upon any of them.
Also, during the conversation, the camera angle turned to the ball on the ground and the girls are not seen for more than a few seconds before one of them come back picking the ball back up....
I personally think, during the offscreen, it was the daughters that sneakily go light up the explosives while their dad distracted Muzan with the long conversations

Welcome to the long wait for the Final Battle Arc! Everything about this episode was epic and well built! The way Tanjiro screams “Muzan!”when he sees him gives me absolute chills. Just everything… the music, the phenomenal animation, the voice acting… everything was just outstanding.
There are two arcs left in the story of demon slayer. We are now in the Final Battle Arc with two arcs in it
- The Infinity Caste Arc
- Sunrise Countdown Arc
The Infinity Castle Arc has been confirmed to be 3 movies. Whether or not the movies will last to include the Sunrise Countdown, or it’ll be its own separate thing… we ultimately do not know. For now, enjoy the wait with us. The movies are coming, and hopefully soon.

The ending with Tanjiro in the air shouting at Muzan and the music turning up as the credits rolled. Its just an absolutely goated ending.

One little detail when the Hashiras gather. When Gyomei yelled that it's Muzan, the rest were still in shock and possibly doubt, but when Tanjiro also yelled out his name, that was a confirmation because he's the only one to have seen the demon king before. Immediate springing into action after Tanjiro yelled
The fact that Giyu has always looked out for Tanjiro from the beginning all the way till the end shows how much he values his actual friends. And only Tanjiro was able to make him comfortable to make friends again after the tragedy of his sister and Sabito. That's why Giyu is my favorite character in Demon Slayer and his bond with Tanjiro as brothers is one of the best dynamics in the series
That's exactly why Giyu is also my most favorite Hashira! Ever since we met him in the first episode ever, I already fell in love with him and his character. He was stern, but meant well. His words were harsh, but deep down inside he's compassionate. His relationship with Tanjiro is so special. He truly cares for him. Sometimes I look back at the first episode and realize that out of all the Hashira (yes, even someone like Mitsuri), Giyu really was the best choice of Hashira for Tanjiro to encounter. It feels full circle. LOVE THE WATER BROS!! 🌊🌊 (i know Tanjiro ends up using Hinokami Kagura more, but we can't forget his first breathing style!! 🌊 Water bros!! 🌊)

There's something weird about the Master (Ubuyashiki). Notice how EVERYONE likes him, how he nails their desires perfectly? Like how he exactly knew what to say to make Kanroji cry from relief/joy, feeling loved just the way she is for the first time, how he comforted Tokito and was spot on when he said he'd be unstoppable once the mist cleared from his head, how he rescued Stone Hashira (basically all Hashiras and demon slayers). And here, we see this weird thing about him again, where Muzan cant bring himself to kill him right away or to even feel hatred towards him. Instead he felt a weird sense of relief/comfort despite facing the leader of his enemies. Ubuyashiki even said he ''knew'' what was on Muzan's mind, what his desire is; eternity. It really does feel like as though he can read people's mind.
Im no manga reader, but I do wonder whether his weird ability of knowing things and making people feel comforted, saying exactly what they need to hear etc, is ever explained. Might just be a cool character trait or the fact that they married priests' daughters, adding some kind of spiritual power into their lineage.
Or maybe he's just a great dude lmao

Though the way Stone Hashira spoke about it, it seemed as though it was some supernatural ability, where he can uncannily sense people's deepest pains and deepest desires beyond what normal empathy allows in normal humans. And his generational "intuition"/foresight.
In any case, it makes for great symbolism, displaying human kindness as a superpower. Demon versus Human, each with their own superpowers. His human kindness being the greatest superpower, even moreso than Hashiras' literal powers.
I get the feeling has had some small powers. Like he didn’t predict the infinity castle, so his foresight isn’t perfect, but he had powers of prediction and influence. Which he used to help grow the corps.

Fun fact: The dust/smoke which was coming out of Muzan's steps were not smoke but healing effects which were constantly coming out of damaged cells of Muzan due to Wisteria which is spread everywhere in DS Corp.

It requires a couple leaps to get there.

I honestly agree with what you said, to build up a good story you have to connect the viewers to the characters to make it more intense, yet some people are too impatient, and there was this thing going around where they called this season a filler, but I honestly enjoyed every bit of this break from demons and just watching the characters in their role. ❤ This season will be the sole reason why the ending will be far more effective and memorable. ❤️

Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 11 revealed that many years ago, Muzan was a young man who was struck by an illness that was going to kill him at an early age. Thats my guess as to why Muzan listened for so long. He maybe felt like looking at his past self when seeing Ubuyashiki like that.

Muzan was just unfortunate to be born weak and all this has nothing to do with Ubuyashiki clan , the actual issue was that muzan became demon so as muzan was part of Ubuyashiki clan the clan got cursed and children started started dying shortly after birth because of that

I've been a huge fan of demon slayer for two years now and watched every single one of your reactions!! i always click on them the second you upload! im a little sad it'll be a while before you react to the trilogy but you're seriously in for something special :)
It has been announced they are going to do a Movie Trilogy which is called Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc. So I think they will do a 3 part movie. The first one is in 2025. The rest we dont know. Also there's a final arc after Infinity Castle Arc which I think will be apart of the Movie Trilogy as well.
Fun fact this entire episode didn't actually happen in the hashira training arc in the manga! These were the first pages of the infinity castle arc which I think is pretty cool
And also the reason muzan was so petty towards tanjiro in the end is because although muzan was over 1000 years old, he turned into a demon when he was 19 which means his brain hasn't matured past that age meaning he isn't really fully developed and had a tiny bit of a childish mind
When ubuyashiki said his family got cursed, he literally means that his family got cursed because of an evil spirit is within their family. it’s not something like a hereditary illness
This episode is the top rated kny episode on IMDb with a rating of 9.8 while the second highest rated is the second to last episode of season 2 with a rating of 9.7. Believe me when I say this, the movies will completely eclipse anything we've seen so far from Demon Slayer.
That 10 second screentime of Zenitsu is cherry on top. And the OST is just perfect!

Now for the wait and onwards to the infinity castle movies where no one is safe and we are all going to lose our minds also the after credit scene is my favourite having tanjiro and mitsuri talk about rengoku and how Good of a teacher he was to mitsuri warms my heart then to have his spirit cheer them on is so sweet 😊
Notice how Muzan is always understanding/patient towards humans for some reason? When it comes to demons, he is like an unreasonable boss, but humans such as Ubuyashiki and the drunk people he encountered in Season 1 he listens to one and says sorry to the others.
It's not even that he's entirely unreasonable to the demons. We see his interactions with demons such as Daki when he's not stricken with rage. He's manipulative, he uses promises of greater strength and talks them up like he did with the Temari demon saying "you're a member of the 12 kizuki, one of my most important subordinates, you're special and strong and I'm relying on you". We know he indulged the idiosyncrasies of several of his demons even when he didn't think it was a good idea like with Gyutaro and Daki or Rui having special permission to divide his strength and make his own family.
His actions with the lower moons may stick out because of how drastic it was, but honestly as enraged as he was I don't think he would have killed them all if they hadn't made some bad decisions. I genuinely think if they nodded said "yes master, we suck. We'll try much harder. Please let us go die for you." they could have all come out of that meeting alive.
He's really an interesting character the way he encompasses a lot of duality and contradiction. He's driven so much by fear and vulnerability despite his incredible strength. He values the strength of demons but his greatest fear is them working together against him. No matter how strong he becomes the memory of weakness and frailty is indelibly etched in him.
