This an installation video of the Garmin ECHOMAP UHD 93sv Fish Finder/Chartplotter on our 2023 Sun Tracker Bass Buggy 18DLX.

Nice Install, I do have a question. Everything I read says mount transducer on Starboard Side. My mount as well as yours is on Port side. Have you used the Garmin on water and do you see any problems?

It seems to work fine; it does say to mount on the starboard side because of the way the prop turns can cause interference, I believe. I do want to find a good welder to add a bracket to the starboard side, but it's not at the top of the to-do list.

I have looked from experience and had to look it up. I have a 2021 suntracker and had the fish finder and trolling motor hooked to the same battery. Apparently you’re not supposed to do that it can cause interference and it ruined my fish finder. Run the fish finder to the starting battery or it’s own separate one

Good idea, I am still working out the trolling motor and battery combo, but I am too paranoid to hook anything to the starting battery.
