  • Hospitals are on the frontlines of the US gun violence epidemic, both through the treatment of shooting victims and as sites of firearm violence. At least 240 shootings occurred on US hospital grounds from 2000 to 2016 alone.     Hopefully hospitals allow concealed carry. This means that it's more than just security guards that can respond to an active shooter event. A place that allows concealed carry makes it less of a shooting gallery for predators...
