I would like to thank you for honoring those very brave women who flew into danger. I have read a few books on Women who were spies during World War Two and did some amazing work. These women were incredible. ❤

This is the most interesting piece of history. In a way, it explains what is happening in the world right now. I think that they got some parts of it right - the power of the mind is the greatest power ever.

Jane Rebecca Yorke (27 January 1872 - 1953) was an English medium who was the last person convicted under the Witchcraft Act 1735. Yorke was arrested in July 1944. At her trial in September 1944 at London's Old Bailey, she was found guilty on seven counts against the Witchcraft Act 1735 of pretending "to cause the spirits of dead persons to be present." Yorke was fined £5 and placed on a good behaviour bond for three years, promising she would hold no more séances. The light sentence was due to her age of 72.  She did not give any further séances. - From Wikipedia

As a matter of interest- in regard to hair being used as an antenna I read the American Indians were able to do this, but when they joined the army and had their hair cut short they lost the ability to do so.
Also Sampson was said to lose his power when Delilah cut his hair off.

The Germans used occultism as well, it’s not necessarily a source of strength more so of weakness. Freedom of religion was hated amongst the socialist nazi regime because they old wanted their governmental powers to be in charge and worshipped.

This was very interesting especially the part about the long haired women claiming supernatural power because of their hair. I’m a Christian and did you know that there is a passage in the Bible that speaks of long (uncut is the root word, no pun intended) hair on Christian women giving them power (in prayer)? Symbolic of God’s Glory, it is considered important because of the angels(and not the good ones, the fallen bunch). I happen to be one of those women, but not the witchy type. 😊

@@sallycormier1383 women were considered anathema/unclean and held separate from the men. I've never quite understood the huge mistranslation of "do not allow a poisoner to live" into "thou shalt not suffer a witch to live". Enormous difference between the two. Of course, King James was more than a bit of a prat. Not a fan of women anyway, what with all his male "companions".

You'll find most of the bible is a collection of previous pagan myths and stories. None of it is original. The God of the old testament was originally a minor storm God in a pantheon headed up by the Goddess Innana, and the mythical Jesus was a classic slain and risen sun god, drawing on several different pagan religions around at the time. This is backed up by theologians, ancient historians, archaeologists etc.. people should study the history of the bible and the context it was written, aswell as the history of its translations etc.. in before reading what's in it.x
