thank you so much for this video, I was having trouble figuring out what exactly was upgraded between the two for me it's a clear winner for the upgraded one and at least here in my country the difference between them is about 2 to 5 dollars so it's a no-brainer to get the upgraded one
@@1daSoul yes I tried it. Didn’t work. Still pulled air. I also turned it and it blocked the airflow completely. It has 1 open side to let air out and the others are closed off. I think the chip inside is programmed to only spin 1 direction
love the improvements... but the new nose flaps... aren't an improvements, the previous version you could remove them and replace them with the ones to your liking, like i did with mine... but now you can't remove them.... unless you cut them off.. but that's not the point.
Compared to the original facial interface, does this one provide the same FOV? Is the interface wider than the original, too? Asking those questions because I bought the Kiwi interface and I noticed that the FOV is much smaller with it.
IMO skip all this stuff and just install a ceiling fan in the room in which you're going to do VR, they make plenty of low profile ones if needed. Put that fan on high and both you and your equipment will stay cool under the airflow, with no added weight to your headset.
I've been playing under a ceiling fan since I got my quest 2 and it's great for keeping me cool but does nothing to stop my lenses fogging up. I'm hoping the F2 will do that, as that's what it's meant for.
@@MrAfusensi thanks for the tip 👍🏻 I got the F2 though and it does a really good job at stopping fogging altogether. I'll try the soap trick after I get around to using polywatch on my lenses though, cheers 👍🏻
Absolutely LOVE it, both with fan, but also without. The interface feels like it puts you so much closer to the action than the native interface.
Awesome job with the details. Thank you.

Where can i buy extra facepads that fits with this one?
we are 3 people that like to share the quest but not the sweat
the best review ever !
Wow what a perfect comparison !
I like the F2 but the facial interface let light bleed in which ruined it for me! Great review!
Can you put a VRCover padding on the BoboVR interface ?
Yes, I use VR cover padding and hated bobovr padding.
thanks for the video, can I still use the glasses spacer? does it fit? thanks.
I'll try to dig mine out and let you know
@@VRKommando Thanks, it would be great to know if it fits before I order it. I appreciate you checking that for me. 👍
@@VRKommando I was just about to ask too, I can't afford the prescription lenses just yet
I can confirm with BOBOVR that it is indeed compatible as it should be. Unfortunately I have lost mine.
@@VRKommando thanks for letting me know... have a nice one. cheers from Switzerland
Does it works with the bobovr V2 strap?
Dude was the sound of the fan loud?
Can the pace vr sweat guards be used with this
I wonder if I flip the fan upside down would it make the fan blow on your face instead pulling out?
Have you tried it ? I was thinking exactly the same as U.

I just saw your link, it sucks they don't have Amazon prime for it I think it would take about a month and a half to get here
does it cool your face i hate heat since i play gtag alot
Is it worth buying another one if you have the original?
Only if you are having problems otherwise its just an upgrade that mostly focuses on ease of use and refinement to the mold, has its benefits
would i be able to use the F2 on the Quest 1?

I'll check and let you know once I dig the old one out
Still waiting@@VRKommando
Is it compatible with the Bobo M2 Plus?
Looks like it should be
Where can I buy this?
aliexpress or directly from BoboVR's website
Amazon also depending on where you're based.
It will not allow you to attach the eyeglasses extender. Deal breaker for me!
It works with the original glasses spacer, just need to align it properly

@@TemporaryName80 use soap on your lenses like you do to prevent glasses from fogging

Screw that. I just wait for a wind storm/hurricane/tornado. I get all the wind I need and never sweat!!! Best of all it’s free!!!
Another pos to charge
That is the issue when you use a stand alone vr headset.
