Thank you for all Ryan. I like all your tutorials. I have juste a question. Could you have the time to explain us the node Map Range. I can't find anything on it.
Hey, I made the brushed metal material you showed. After making this and applying it on a cylinder with a sub D modifier it seems to have a mid section where the texture gets stretched and is only fixed once I decrease the scaling on the x axis, have any suggestions on how to fix this?
Nice tutorial as always. Can I make a tutorial suggestion? Could you make a tutorial on how to make a PLA plastic material in Blender, to get the effect of a 3d printed object? Would be helpful for some specific type of scenes.
The last texture doesn't work. I have no idea what I am doing wrong, but on the lateral faces on each face, I have that circular pattern. The origins in at the very center of the mesh.
Hi, for some reason anisotropic doesn't seem to be making any effect. I tried to copy all nodes as yours. Cycles is turned on and I'm in Render preview. I'm seeing some of those cross shadows/highlights in the center, but it is not because of anisotropic. It doesn't make any difference for me.
@@karlcoleman2839 The issue was that it depends on what environment and lights are you are using. When I tried with different setup it worked. It was working before too but I wasn't able to notice much.
@@fanatic632 I also had this problem, I searched for some solutions and I found that the coordinate of the object origin affects the orientation, if the z axis of the origin is not perpendicular to the surface, the light will deviate from the center.
I have not lost any weight for over 2 years. Back in 2020, I was a bit overwight, and I wanted to get more fit, so I watched my caloric intake and worked out, until I got down to a healthier weight. So yeah, if you watch my really old videos, back in 2020, I was a bit overweight
Can you explain how to make swirled microscraches only around reflections and on a glass material, a bit like in this video: ua-cam.com/video/l0se0kUasTY/v-deo.htmlsi=VA21rCnJBNCKQeW7 I've seen no tutorial about this

How do I make that “painted metal” material, which “analogue audio rack units” have??
It’d very helpful if you could show us. Thank you

I also have same problem. 😢 I tried changing scale and mix type but it is same
@@harsh_singh332Alt least I am not alone 😂

Go into object mode and "apply the scale" that should fix it.

What GPU do you have?

love the vid tho, have you considered making a discord so we can chat
I decided not to make a discord because it would take up way to much of my time, and I want to spend my time making more tutorials
