Such good, crisp sounds. Three installments of hour long videos is an incredibly kind and much appreciated effort. I always love longer videos to fall asleep to. I hope the holiday has been good to you. Thank you, again.
I have had to work a lot more than I would have liked, but I still got the evening with my family, and I love moments to remember why I'm so grateful to have all I have, and Christmas always gives me that moment. Thank you always, Modest. I'm grateful for you and all your kindness this year, too.
Happy belated Christmas Lily! I really hope it was a good one for you! These hour long videos have really been hitting the spot lately, and this one is no exception! I could honestly listen to you ramble for hours on end because it’s just that relaxing!
It was a long time ago since I fell asleep to an ASMR video. I love your voice, your tone, your talking and the softness of your cleansing. Thank you so much. Greetings from Mexico City.

Aw, I'm so glad! I love hearing about holiday traditions too, and thank you, my night with my family was really nice and full of far too many cookies. XD. Relaxing is a nice Christmas! Did you get to do all the things you like to do this year?

The food was great, and so was the fun. Christmas is awesome, but yeah, also tiring! I am ready to sleep forever. 😴. But I have to get up at 5:30 to work again. XD. Hopefully I'll get to take a nap when I'm done. Thank you so much, Blu, for all your support and sweet comments this year. I appreciate it so much.
@tranquillily Thank you aswell Lily I appreciate your videos and also you taking the time to always respond to my comments!! Take care of yourself and I hope you get your nap as soon as possible!!! 😊🫶🏽
Oh wow same here, i too would only see cousins/aunts/uncles when going to grandmas home for holidays, but when she died like 12 years ago? Havent heard a peep from any of those family members, never saw them again. Which sucks, i wish i had family like that, that didnt just bail and abandon us. So for past 12 years only family has been mom, two brothers, one i dont speak too, and a aunt i havent talked to in maybe 4/5 years. I wish i had cousins, aunts, uncles in my life growing up, not just when i was too young/shy to say anything to them the times they were near. Like all those family members would be in the living room watching movies and chatting, i would just be in grandmas bedroom playing video games or watching tv alone.
I'm sorry you would like to be closer to your family and feel like you can't. :/. I have a pretty substantial nuclear family so not being close to my cousin's anymore doesn't feel like a huge deal, but I can certainly imagine I'd feel very lonesome without my siblings. My mom has tried to keep my grandma's traditions alive though herself: maybe you could play the part of your grandma and be the one bringing everyone together?
I went to comment on the part 2 video because I forgot to, and then I saw a part 3 is out! These are some long videos - and for that, I am very appreciative. Talking about your kid not having siblings to bounce excitement off of made me think: I have two younger siblings, but I have never been emotional/excitable about gifts - even if I really, really wanted it and like it. I think that's why I also am uncomfortable excepting gifts as an adult now, because I always felt bad that I wasn't "expressive enough". My mom never gave me a hard time for it and she understood, and I'd still verbally express my thanks... Yet, I was still extremely aware of how adults loved to see kids getting excited in videos to receive gifts etc, and I felt like I was disappointing people by not reacting enough. So, your son might not have been super excitable even if he had siblings to bounce off of, but he it doesn't mean he doesn't feel that excitement internally still. Funny enough, saying that you try not to burden other people with your emotions is interesting to me, because I am typically drawn to people who are much more outwardly emotional - preferably the positive, but that tends to come with the negatives as well haha. I find a lot of joy in seeing people being happy - even total strangers. Maybe because I can't emote it as much myself, that I can live kind of vicariously through them, because I'm still -extremely- empathetic. It's a little funny, for someone who struggles to emote myself, I am incredibly sensitive to the emotional state of others. Anywho, my typical rambling... lol. I'll stop before I write a whole novel here. Merry christmas (again) and in case I don't catch you again before then - happy new year's!
I wear my emotions on my sleeve, I don't try to hide them at all. I always want people to know how I feel, but when they are negative emotions, I know how to express I'm not doing well without making it burdensome, you know? When I was younger I would be dramatic or passive aggressive or just grumpy and unpleasant. Now I say "well, I'm feeling pretty shitty but I know it will get better and I'm glad to be here with you." I have more perspective on unhappiness, I know all states are temporary so I don't be an ass about how I'm feeling anymore. I guess that's more how I meant to put it, because I'm not at ALL withholding about my emotions. Lol I appreciate that perspective on gifts, and the way you describe the pressure of it very much reminds me of the way my brother felt about gifts, too. He felt obligation to show outward joy that wasn't natural for him to express. My kid maybe is similar, and I try not to pressure him about it. We quietly opened his gifts without any fanfare on Christmas Eve when everyone had gone and I think he appreciated that. Always appreciate your long comments, it's great conversation. Happy New Year if I don't talk to you before then. ^_°
Nah, I haven't played wow in years. I did used to come back to check out new expansions sometimes, but it was never the same as WotLK times for me so I never stayed long.
I like how you call it "Golden Years" . Idrk know what that means, but it's such a romantic way of saying _getting old_ lol. Maybe I'll start saying that now. I also see myself playing video games into my golden years :) was never much of a WoW person. Maybe like some Japanese MMO. By the time we're at _that_ age though, a lot of gaming will probably be in virtual reality.
@@tranquillily Yeah. Getting old is not for the faint of heart, lol. Thankfully, there are lots of research into longevity. I think by the time our generations reach 100, we'll be pretty fit and stuff.
You having a conversation for this entire video is perfect. ❤❤❤

You mean like Final Fantasy 30 or whatever iteration it is? XD. Hey, I'm down if virtual reality is good enough. We'll all meet online in 40 years. XD
And honestly, I'm sure golden years was intentionally romanticized cause getting old sucks so bad. Lol
