Welcome to another video. I am showing you a common problem with the w204 command control center rotation wheel today. There is a plastic shaft that gets overworked and snaps. I bought this car at 118,000 miles, and it was already broken when I got it. So I cannot give you an accurate mileage as to when it gave up in this car. This shaft breaks and does not register the wheel spinning in either direction, all the while the other controls all work. Only the spinning is broken. To fix this, we take apart the gear selector section to expose the command control knob. Taking it apart, we found the broken shaft and replaced it with a new aluminum shaft. I would suggest buying the aluminum shaft rather than buying the OEM plastic as it's prone to breaking. I would also not advise gluing it back together unless you've got something more robust than epoxy, which I used. And it ended up breaking within a week.

I’ve seen several videos about this, and yours it’s the best explained and easy to see (others the images are dark or unfocus, no so clear as yours). So Thank you!. I’ll try to do it in a few days. My car is not in so good condition as yours and I have several thing to repair. I just fix one tail light recently
