You honestly rock man! Love your video's!
Personally, I don't always have the time to watch judo contests even though I want to, and your coverage of all the events really enables me keep up with things and enjoy more great judo!

Last technique is called the Huizinga Roll, after Mark Huizinga who was olympic champion of 2000 in sydney

Abuladze is already -66, he moved from -60 2 years ago
And on the end of your video, the turnover is called Huizinga roll. You can even find a video of Huizinga 15 years ago explaining how he does it.

No Japanese name? ABULADZE was world champion at -60, right?

@@JudoHighlights2015 I've never seen a japanese name for that technique so I guess not
Yes, Abuladze was -60 world champion in 2021 and already did some good performances in -66 since then (eg gold medal in Portugal this year)

I concur. Jessica Klimkait also likes this turnover technique.

Honestly think that Harai makikomi is just a good follow through from a strong defense. If you've still got a dominant position, keep the throw going and know how to finish it, kind of thing.

Shmailov was absent from the IJF World Tour for the past 10 months due to Wada (doping) breach of regulations but beside him, all of the other Israeli Judoka’s took part on the tour.
Having said that, there should be problems on getting into Antalya & Dushanbe GS along with The WC in Abu-Dhabi.

that Gneto waza ari did count, the controversial part was that she should've gotten hansoku make'd right at the end

The first sweep is a dummy sweep in Bjj.

Alwais inspiring watching these great athletes, thank you so much
One thing, the fact that so many of these judoka at this level just stop after a throw and start staring at the referee is just bonkers to me,why do that? Just continue your action in ne waza,if you got an ippon they just stop you after, first rule since you are a little kid in the dojo, never stop until your hear MATE
    I really do not understand

For the first technique you showed, I heard it referred to as the dummy sweep.

What are you even watching dude. Abduladze is 66, i don’t know whats the point of even commenting if you can’t even read the scoreboard for the weight category.
