It comes out of the box looking like a shelf queen. Pretty like my 1:10 scale Bronco was before I took it out & put it to work. She’s still pretty but with character now. I love your perspective on Crawlers & hopefully you get the new 1:24 scale Element Ecto. I’m very interested in it but if it can’t perform I’m not interested. The FMS seems like it performs well & I’m sure with upgrades it could be a great performer. I just realized today that RC is a progression after you’ve been in it for awhile RTR’s don’t bring as much enjoyment & you start taking the RC’s you have & start going full custom new body & you paint it & carbon LCG frame rails & pick your own electronics. I have some great platforms to go full custom & I’m thinking my TRX Sport truck is a good place to start. I’ve already used my Element Ecto chassis to paint my first body made it a custom rig with Proline 66 Chevy cab & Rock Pirates bed. I’m looking forward to starting on a new path. I’d be interested to see your custom builds & videos of upgrades you did & why. I’m liking the 1:24 Bronco for sure & only have one 1:24 scale so I’ve been looking at them but still haven’t made a choice so I’ll keep tabs on what people are saying about & what upgrades there doing. Thanks for sharing.
I’ve been eyeing the 1:24 Ecto as a mini compliment to the 1:10…….2 of the TRX4M’s will be arriving early November on the channel. I know what you mean regarding RTR leaving you wanting more after a point. On the channel I mainly focus on the mainstream or RTR side of things but as the subscriber base has grown I may start to add some additional content of some of my personal custom builds. I’ve been finishing up a RockPirates build, maybe it will make its way to the channel. Between the FMS and the SCX Bronco is $10 different but I give a heavy performance edge to the Bronco. I think once both are upgraded the axial will outperform the FMS but we will see in time. Thanks for sharing!!
I cant think of any reason why anyone would purchase the scx24 bronco when the 18th scale traxxas bronco is far superior in performance and cost. I get that upgrading and customization is half the fun but having to spend more money just to get it to perform like the stock Traxxas bronco turns me off bad.

Great share! I like mine a lot, agree it is top heavy buy some weights will really help. Its a beautiful scale truck at 1/24
💯! Metal and brass bits on the way! Going to be a fun build👍

No argument here once the TRX4m became available it’s a no brainer however the SCX24 bronco and most video’s surrounding it predate the M’s arrival
Most people have both scx24 and trx4m. I personally have 6 crawlers which is on the low side as inventory goes.
