I agree with you on the first point. I HEAVILY disagree with Fresh and fit when they say guys don’t like girls that are ambitious and have big goals. Yeah we would date a waitress or a McDonald’s worker, but they at LEAST have to have something goin for themselves on the side that can set em up for a good future. The only thing I ask for is to respect my home and for her to have a job or to be chasing toward something, she getting a free pass to pursue her goals on her own dime. I also set her up just in case things don’t work out. and make her own money. All the money she makes will be only for her. She gets a roof and security over her head from me in return. I don’t ask for a lot at all. As far as kids when it happens, it can be so flexible due to me being able to work from home most of the week, or getting a housekeeper that I trust

Im 21 and I been in an off and on relationship with a girl since we were in high school from my junior year onwards and her freshman year onwards. And I’m at a crossroads. She’s a great girl and we are pretty compatible but I feel like either she is holding me back or I am slowly outgrowing her. Like I work out, she’s not consistent in the gym. I am working towards going to medical school(3rd year pre-med) and I don’t know if our careers even align. She is pretty clingy, and she is always sleeping like waking up in the afternoon consistently type thing.

I would advise you to sit down with her and discuss your thoughts about what your feeling right now. Also, talking with her about what your future goals are and what are hers. From there, you can form your own judgement to see if you’re still compatible or you have truly outgrown her.
