This video is a grail. I did this to my Jordan 2 Low since the toe box was like a boot and now it looks way better. Then also did it to my Ones and to sb dunks. Thank you !
I notice many AF1's take this too the next level... They're bulkier so it doesn't jump out too badly, but it's raised quite a bit and has this clear angle to it. I see pictures of AF1's that are much more like your usual sneaker's toebox curve, barely even there. My AF1 High's are right next to my Forum 84 highs on the shelf, and the differerence jumps out at me everytime.
I'm SUPER hesitant to try anything as these are Unlocked By You's, maybe if I ever wear out some cheaper AF1's that aren't limited I'll try it, but I'm still just gonna watch this out of curiosity.

Any chance you could make a video on straightening the heel of the shoe to make it more OG accurate?
that can't be done, they cut the leather, mold the heel counter and make the sockliner so that it gives the shoe that slightly curved look. You would have to basically rebuild the shoe to get the heel straight.

Thank you for this. Just did this to my Bred 1s (2016), Royal 1s (2017), and Bred Toe 1s (2018) cause they all had one toe that was slimmer than the other

You can do this with 3s, 4s, 5s and 6s as well.
Leather is super easy, but with nubuck be careful, you need to heat it then stretch the shoe straight.
You'll get that 80s/90s sleek toe super nice.

Ever wonder why they crease? They never reach the toe unless you lift them 😂😂. They should throw shells in them to begin with being that big to prevent creasing..

lol i feel you on the reps, I'm gonna shape my rep AJ1 Chicago Reimagined tonight. But this won't work for getting an hourglass shape, plus the hourglass shape doesn't matter since it goes away with wear on retails.

Yeah the dunks are supposed to be short and wide and the aj1s should be narrow and pointy.

The design is accurate to the ogs, but you can see overtime and/or with extensive use, they give a little bit and reshape. Some of those pics you showed of ogs literally have the same exact shape toebox.

What's weird is I see pictures of Nike's that seem brand new with this toebox. I feel like it's just crazy inconsistent first and foremost, but the shapes have been trending towards looking less sleek and clean overal.
Something I've noticed with worn pairs, it's kind of a tossup whether they become flatter or actually the opposite, I've seen a pair where one shoe was almost like a right angle going up and then horizontal, the other was almost immediately horizontal with a nice curve.
How does it feel afterwards though? Also ngl the collar not being as straight as the originals is what bugged me the most
Yeah that straight collar is how they should all look - it feels comfortable still... was too much toe room before

This is exactly why I’m here I’m so pissed they did this. Don’t the realize that leaving the to box big a bulky completely destroys the silhouette of the shoe which is the most important part on a 1!
