Just in case people misunderstood. King Fritz was a genocidal pacifist that was gonna let his race and people die because he felt bad about how the Eldian Empire conquered the world. He was literally going to let people die for the sins of the past, he wasn't a good exactly person. They cut this line but he said "If Marley was to choose to kill all Eldians I would accept it, that's how grave our crimes were but if possible I would like to maintain my short peace."
They didn't cut that line tho. It's literally in the episode.

There's something I never understood about the Tybur speech and the Marley action. Because Tybur knows Marlay sent soldiers to Paradise.
Now let's pretend Erens Father never stole the founding Titan. Reiner and Bertold broke down the wall king Fritz made, killed his citizens and causing mass slaughter. This goes against the promise he made.
But that being said I distinctly remember a single line said by Fritz/his inheritor. "I would let them wipe us out." Or something along those lines. Meaning at the end of the day, he feels so guilty he would rather let Marlay kill everyone and everything in the walls.
But here's the Crazy thing, he has this mindset without knowing what life outside the walls is like. What if Historian ate Eren NOW!? Seeing Eldians as Slave, Human Weapons, Mass Slaughtering each other for Land and Wealth? Remember all he ever knew was Paradise Island and the Promise he made.
At that point, I think Fritz would simply say it wasn't his problem anymore. Eldians being used as slaves would probably be seen as atonement for the sins committed by their ancestors, but everything else was executed by Marley. Fritz and Tybur created Marley, and just let the country do whatever it wanted. I think it should be said that Marley is NOWHERE near as bad and as powerful as Eldia was. All 9 titans under the same banner, the sheer death caused by Eldia was enough to have exterminated the human population 3 times over. Of course, this doesn't say that Marley is doing good things, but what I mean is that Fritz would probably not care, simply because he created Marley as a way to 'atone' for his people's sins, and whatever Marley ended up doing was a simple byproduct.

Fritz was the literal king of the world, he had nothing to fear. he commanded all 9 titans, and was the founding titan: the single most powerful being on the planet. I don't think Fritz needed to "save" himself from anything. Well I guess you could say he tried to save himself from his own guilt, but I don't think he was a coward by any means.

What people need to understand from this episode is that tybur family was lying the whole time they said that they team with the Marley hero helos and force king Fritz away.
But that actual truth is that king Fritz felt bad for what he had done to Marley through the years and went away on his own will. So that means that tybur family was getting praised by Marley for the wrong reasons marly only praised tybur family because they took down king Fritz but they didn’t do that
