  • These men are preserving the legacy of farming. Many of them were taught how to farm by their fathers and mothers.

Give thanks and praise to the elder farmers continuing to farm in 2016 without all the modern equipment 👊🏿

Thank you so much for keeping Our Story alive. We believe we are part of a movement of those returning to the land, generations removed. Perhaps someone will tell our story one day. What its like to return with no reference, no history, only a sincere desire to do it and to honor our past. Peace and Blessings. Back40 Family Farm

Dear God..i can only imagine the Ancestors&Elders looking at this society of people's that stop caring about this life sustaining skill..when the lights go out(and they will)MANY will not have a clue about survival...and the*sheep*will be vicious predators.WORD.

Notice how this video, that shows how people can REALLY sustain themselves, gets less than 3,000 views. Go look at videos about weaves, college, and actresses and you'll see views in the millions.

Trivial things of life has distract the mass of people. The true matters of this life, such as sustainability is not what the people want. Sad to say, but the truth is the truth.

LOL! Well we are in 2019 & for some of us, we are interested or we have been getting back to our roots, i.e. farming, sustainability, building our own homes, etc. Hopefully, more of us will start taking action.

I am even more inspired to work the land of my forebearers in South Africa....yes with no reference except that I am son of the soil as an African, I am from the soil and will enhance my relationship with the soil by working the land day and night and be the reference to the upcoming generations of Africa

Though discrimination is likely, a bigger picture evolves when you consider that all small farmers are being marginalized and put out to pasture by corporate farms. Only solution is a social media outcry (which would get silenced) convincing consumers to refuse to support corporate farms and then to buy from local farmers.
