Ok, he's quoted as saying life is good. But African American farmers have been largely eradicated from American farm life, in part through racism, and in part through the economic injustices against all farmers, where New Deal Price Floor programs were reduced (1953-1995) and eliminated (1996-2018). There were nearly a million black farmers early in the century, and it's been reduced to something like 20,000. The biggest reductions came as price floors were reduced, duirng the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, when reductions in the number of black farmers was greater than 50% for each of these decades. Half (50%) of half (25%) of half leaves just 12.5% (actually less than 10% as reductions per decade were as high as 57%). And that's prior to the 1980s farm crisis and the lowest prices in history (cotton, corn, soybeans, sorghum,) which we had repeatedly, 1997-2005). It's similar to the pattern for white farmers, most of which were also run out of business (1953-2015). Prices today for 8 crops are not that far away from record lows.

Put together a consortium of African Diaspora and checkout parts of Africa use your skills there.
I would love for them to change their business model and look into organic farming.
Test the soil and see can it support a different crop?
In addition... Africa needs help. This could be your fortune.

Why should we pretend Blacks Farmers aren't having a much harder time than other farmers when it's a clear statistical fact that they are?
