The 2010 season was where both teams were struggling. Florida was the start of a decline. Georgia went and got decent, but the same 9-3 records, injuries have plagued EM from winning an SEC title. I do believe that with Kirby Smart at Georgia, and Jim Mcelwain at Florida, this rivalry will be interesting again for a team that will be defensive minded and a team that is offensive minded. Mcelwain and Smart should be two great coaches and philosophies to watch this year

The problem is, Halloween falls on Saturday only four times in 28 years (the pattern is 6 years, 5 years, 6 years, 11 years). If Halloween is a Wednesday, it will coincide with Game 7 of the World Series if they get that far.
South Carolina vs. Tennessee has been played at Halloween far more than any other two teams in the SEC, and they’ve done the Black vs. Orange uniforms for the occasion several times.
