    They screwed up the series record...Georgia lead the series, not UF. They still do. Granted the 90s and 2000s were mostly Florida but they didn't take the lead in the series.

    Kirby Smart needs to lobby to have this game moved out of Jacksonville. If Pat Dye could lobby to have the Iron Bowl moved out of Birmingham, then Kirby Smart can do the same here. There's nothing neutral for Georgia's side about this game being 70 miles northeast of Gainesville every year, just like there was nothing neutral for Auburn's side about the Iron Bowl being played 60 miles NE of Tuscaloosa. Home and home, Athens and Gainesville. No more Jacksonville. Spurrier, Meyer and Tebow (The latter's hometown) LOVED playing in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium east, with that one exception it was in Athens during the Spurrier era.
    It's quite obvious Verne and Gary wanted Florida to win at that time.
