    Nothing in this video helps, I have the built in MIC setting where it just uses my mic. It echos in an infinite loop and ive tried everything in this video and nothing has worked. Do you have nay actual solution to this? Ive never had an isssue with my microphone ever and ive had it for almost 2 years.

    I have a predicament which I can't seem to figure out. During my live streams, using OBS, I'm getting feedback loop on twitch live video. I have my friend with whom I'm using 'stream together' function on twitch. I say 'hi' and then my friend hears is a bit later. I'm aware some delay is natural on twitch (couple of seconds). Then my friend hears himself talking with a continuous echoes.
    Alas, how does one stream on OBS to twitch, have a friend join the live and not get an echoes or feedback delay which stacks. Even though we are in the same 'stream lobby', he is watching from my page (live stream), naturally. Otherwise he couldn't see my live gameplay. I want real time audio as if we were in discord, whilst he is viewing my live stream.
    Thanks for taking the time to read and assist me.
    All the best,
    M

    Hello! Do you have any tips on if just my Xbox party audio is echoing? I use a capture card to stream from OBS to twitch. I was not able to hear Xbox party at all, and then I changed my Xbox setting to have audio go from Headset to go to Headset&Speakers. Now I can hear Xbox party audio in stream, but it has a half second echo. I will try setting it to come out of Speakers, but then I am concerned I won’t be able to hear the people in my party through my headset

      Coming back to help people with same issue: I had a duplicate source of audio bc of the default “mic/aux” that is added into every scene. To fix this I just keep mic/aux muted at all times. You can also go into settings and disable mic/aux by default so you don’t have to worry about keeping it muted in every scene

    I am trying to monitor my Q2U mic (connected to USB) by attaching headphones to it in order to determine the best settings for the 3-band equalizer in OBS. However, since I hear both my voice and the mic with a very small delay, I can't understand well what I am hearing from my mic. How do you deal with this problem?

    • @StreamTechTV
      @StreamTechTV  4 місяці тому

      Yeah it's no fun, but in that case I turn off the monitoring and just record with the changes and playback to compare. Eventually I've gotten a hardware interface (rodecaster) that lets me listen without the delay.

      @@StreamTechTV Do you mean the RodeCaster Pro II? Does it work well with Q2U?

    • @StreamTechTV
      @StreamTechTV  4 місяці тому

      @meirgoldenberg5638 I use the duo, which is basically shrunk down pro 2. It would work fine with an XLR cable. Also found that video I think ua-cam.com/video/I0-BfhfoF0M/v-deo.html

    Im struggling with my capture card audio echoing very close. The only fix is to set my capture card audio to monitor off and use my monitor volume so i can hear the game im playing.

    You Q2U sounds so much better than mine. Does it sound much better with XLR than USB? Do you have an external mixing board? Could you please share your filter settings?

    • @StreamTechTV
      @StreamTechTV  4 місяці тому

      It's been a while and I no longer use that mic. It did sound basically the same regardless of usb or XLR. A lot has to do with the room and how close you are to the mic. My current filter settings are hardware on the rodecaster, so unfortunately no longer using those. I have another video with mic settings that could be a starting point, let me find it and post a link.

    I have this issue on my PS5 when streaming to twitch. It echos like crazy and only fix I have found so far is to have all audio run to my headset, which I don't want. Have you run across this?

    That last example you mention - the game audio not needing to be sent out bc it’s included in your desktop audio - do you know how the el gato’s audio would get to where it’s included in my desktop audio in the first place? I.e. do you know how I would seperate it out to ONLY be coming out of my el gato’s source, if that makes sense?
    You are the closest to covering this issue that I have found and I feel like I’m closer than ever to getting answers 😂 awesome video though either way, very helpful!

    • @StreamTechTV
      @StreamTechTV  7 місяців тому

      So do you not hear audio from the Elgato source? Try changing the monitor settings in the advanced audio properties in the mixer for it.

    • @alexleach9133
      @alexleach9133 7 місяців тому +1

      @@StreamTechTV I hear it from the el gato source - that audio is fine, but when I have my basic desktop audio set as a source to capture say discord or music off my PC, that source is also including my el gato volume again.
      So if say I’m streaming with friends in discord, I have to just use my one desktop audio source that has all the audio from the game and my PC in one bc if I have my el gato turned on too, it’s duplicating that audio and giving me the echo.
      I have both desktop audio and my el gato audio set to monitor off - so no one source is playing audio twice, it’s that my el gato’s audio is in both my el gato source and my desktop audio source

    • @alexleach9133
      @alexleach9133 7 місяців тому

      Just because I don’t know if it matters - I can’t hear anything that’s passing through my el gato until I open Streamlabs OBS, and even if everything is muted in stream labs, I still hear that game audio

    • @StreamTechTV
      @StreamTechTV  7 місяців тому

      @alexleach9133 Streamlabs may be a bit different that OBS Studio, I’m not that familiar with it. in OBS though, if monitor is set to “off” for both desktop audio and the elgato, then you shouldn’t hear anything for the game at all. That means there must be a third source somewhere, maybe the original, that needs to be muted/turned off.

    • @alexleach9133
      @alexleach9133 7 місяців тому

      @@StreamTechTV and that third source would be somehow included in what is just generic desktop audio as an added source maybe? Those are the only sources I have that register audio levels of my games that I’m playing so I’m just so confused why the el gato’s audio is included in my desktop audio too.
      I appreciate the help with this - I’ve thought about switching to OBS bc I genuinely think what’s happening to me just straight shouldn’t be and I just can’t find any reason why those simple
      Monitor settings in my sources wouldn’t fix it bc I’ve watched 100 “this is so easy to fix” videos and it’s all that same setting lol
