I've been loving the OffGrid episodes, such a relaxing break from all the "Toughest track in the world!!!!1" videos, and Graham is really in his element with this style. It's great to see Ronny again, too, his knowledge of the land is always amazing.
Ronnie is such a good dude. You can hear the hurt in his voice about the history of Australia...but you also get a sense of forgiveness and hope. We could all learn from Ronnie.
Ronnie is awesome, the history of his people is just heart breaking.. that type of suffering and pain can never be forgotten, like he said that history belongs to everyone. Thank you for making this series, Graham, its awesome! Watching in the USA.
My people got taken under control but can't defend them because they were killing children and offering them to their sun god while doing incest, they actually still do their witchcraft and hence why their countries are so bad everyone wants to run away to the US. Yes, my ancestors were from Latin America but I'm not about to defend their behavior. Many did not want to be good people (accept Jesus as their savior) and so now you see the results: crime, deaths, corruption, people fleeing their countries trying to escape all that.
I’ve only watched 15mins so far, but wow, Graham this is your best yet. I love your mix of travel, history and other stuff. Can’t wait to watch the rest after work. Hi from the UK.
Ronnie is a true gentleman. I love how he tells the history and acknowledges is not only his people story but the story of the Europeans also. It's not first nation, or European history, it's Australia's history.
Big fan of 4WD247 and watch every vid. Love the ‘regular’ videos but Off Grid have been some of my favourite videos, end of. Amazing scenery and an amazing adventure. As a Brit, I’m absolutely frothing to get to Oz and see these sights for myself. More please!
There are no words for this part of our great country. A better Australia when we are in this part of the country next year we will be looking Ronnie up so he can educate our children and myself an wife on all aspects of the culture of the people of this land . 1 thing that stood out and noticed was the pain and sadness in his voice when telling the group about the jail tree and so did our children . We want our children to learn as much as they can about the people of this land which they have been doing while we have been on tour around Australia for the last 2 years... Bring on this area next year can't wait 🙌 I so hope there is so many more of these to come just brilliant to watch well done Graham and team for bring this to us just fantastic 😀
It's times like this I start to wonder why I haven't emigrated from the UK to Australia yet. Loving the new OffGrid content and it's seriously got me thinking about my future! You're all a massive inspiration to my new lifestyle of overlanding. Keep it up! Also, please please please offer a job to Stepth and Harley ♥
This was an amazing episode. I prefer these over the other 4WD24/7 episodes as it's the kind of driving I do. Easy, with a bit of challenge with the ultimate goal to get to a camp site and set up for a couple nights. Don't want to wreck my fourbie. I was also impressed with what Graham said about his purchase of the Y62. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how he affords this Patrol, he's worked his whole life to get to this point to be able to get it. So sick of the comments on Facebook about their million dollar rigs! Succinctly he says, it doesn't matter what you drive, just get out there. Watching this has made me buy a 2015 Colorado which seems to be able to go where the Y62 goes. And can tow. So that's good! I'd love to see more down south videos, especially Denmark, Albany, Bremer Bay, Starvation Bay and Esperance areas all the way through Alexander Bay, Poison Creek, Thomas River to Cocklebiddy. Can't wait for the Pemberton episodes. So refreshing to see WA more. Great presenters especially Graham who I've always loved to follow. Thanks for these episodes. Very inspirational.
@@marthengrobler1667 no, the other ones have gotten over the top, bit I still enjoy them immensely. Graham and the others are still 4wding. Just looking after their gear and enjoying the trip.
@@kylebutler7142 yep I did see that. Could be for a number of reasons. I've had a Colorado before plus a couple Rodeos so I don't reckon I've made a bad move.
Love it, looks like Graham is back in the headspace he was years ago travelling in Shorty from the small bits I've seen of that hanging round on YT. One hell of a Country you folks got, here we're lucky if we can string 3 dry days together 😁👍
My partner and I are planning a 6 month trip around Aus for this year and watching this has me pumped. Especially, hearing Graham talk about his progress from Shorty to the big Y62. We are doing it in a 20 year old Hilux and wouldn't swap it for anything else. Cheers guys!
Loving the Off Grid episodes. Seeing Ronnie talk about the prison tree was pretty special and his attitude towards the whole ugly saga is truly amazing. Would love to see some Pilbara action.
Loving these "Off Grid" episodes. Keep them coming. Would love to see you do a series going up the middle (eg: the full Oodnadatta Tracks and similar). 🙂
I’m loving these more touring type of shows. I hate seeing the party split, but half of the team is trail enthusiasts, the other half is looking for scenery and camping.
Sitting here in South Africa , drooling to tour Australia like you are.... Really enjoying the Off grid series, also need to see more of Harley and Steph on the show
Loving the off grid episodes! I reckon you should do a series around Tasmania. It may be a small state, but there are so many good caravan spots, as well as beautiful scenery and wicked fishing
Guys you are getting a whole new audience with this series. We drove the Karunjie back in 2009 towing following a dotted line on the gps at times. Ended up bogged 50 metres from the Pentecost. Definitely doing it again
you asked where we would like to see you go next. as a person that don't live in Australia any place is a good place. I have been loving the new show off grid, its like a virtual tour of Australia.
Loved the episode! Really enjoying grahams off grid episodes. So happy to see Ronnie back again, what a legend. I think it would be a really great edition/would love to see an acknowledgment of country included at the beginning of the episodes. ⚫️🟡🔴
This whole off grid trip Graham has been amazing to watch and I'm always waiting for the next episode and you've inspired me to do a whole lap around Australia after I get my car ready with everything I will need and capable to do said trip. Thanks guys keep up the great work love the videos
I’m loving watching this type of trip Graham. I guess potentially adding in some park up the caravan and do some more challenging tracks in the vehicles then back to base camp 👌🏻
Been building our family touring rig for nearly a year. I work up in the Kimberley and get to see a little bit. This show is an absolute stonker. I get to show my family what's in store and boy are we keen!
Lovin' this series. So glad that 4wd24/7 didn't just stick to the hard tracks and got into these types of trips. It's more like what I want to do here in the states. Along with the occasional tough trail.
So nice to hear his beliefs that the history is shared, it isn’t just his. Here in American that is not a sentiment that is widely shared and there has been alot of history removed and or destroyed because it offends people. Rather than keeping it as a reminder of how to be better they want to forget it.
Loving these vid's. I am 2 years from doing what you're doing Graham & I am making notes of all the places to head to. I intend to spend many years just circumnavigating Oz..
We're really enjoying this style of content. It's a lot more relatable than the full on 4x4ing we're used to watching. To be honest I'd be keen to see some episodes that aren't in such remote areas. Don't get me wrong, the current content is great, but not really achievable that frequently by most. The S.A. coast from Lincoln to Beachport is stunning. I'd love to see some episodes covering this region. Yea it's not the nation's most exclusive off road destination, but it's beautiful, relatable and very doable on a budget/timeline. Keep up the great content guys 🤘
I absolutely love this type of travel! Thanks so much for bringing it to us. I would like to see the savannah way from Katherine to Cairns 👌🏻 Definitely on my bucket list 🍻
So jealous of what can be done over there! I'm from Wales and yes we have some fantastic lanes alot are being closed down can't wait for the next episode 🤙🏴
Love the Off Grid series, family friendly touring with history and stunning scenery! Suggestions for future trips... 1. Re-create the Layland Brothers West to East crossing, 2. Canning stock route (I don't think you guys have ever done this even from 4wd action days) 3. Explore the Len Bedell tracks, 4. Follow the Burke and Will's route and 5. The Savannah Way...
Nothing would go further to bringing us all together than constitutional recognition and support for the Voice to Parliament. Let's get behind it folks!
Loving this content, Kimberley has been a big must on the bucket list. Have done the Cape twice now but this has made it even more of an essential. Loving the dynamic of this group reminds me of our trips out bush 🙏
Come together and build a better Australia.. Ronnie is the man. Id buy him a beer anytime
