Spot on review, I tried a few of the watermelon pale ale when I took my family camping, really nice with bbq, brilliant review, that's why I always trust this guy 👍
Simon I have all but given up on the cheap Aldi beer. It's all crap headache stuff. I get branded beer now and pay a little bit more. I did buy the watermelon beer to give it one last whirl and was unaware it was brewed by seven brothers. I have had many of there beers and been to the tap house many times. So well done Aldi for getting such a brewer to do a range of beers for them at a very good price 👍
You should try the passion fruit martini pale ale it's pretty decent , tastes of custard creamy flavour , and you get the passion fruit on the back end , tastes like a good 3 quid can at over a quid less
It may be a way to increase the sugar content during the fermentation process. Without doing shenanigans like glucose syrup. And of course this add some taste also. I find these beers may be excellent in the summertime. Perhaps not in large quantities but a few work just fine

I'd guess the pineapple is a tad sweeter than the watermelon. I was in Aldi yesterday, picked both up, then put them down because they're Hop Foundry beers. May pick them up to try after this video
It’s not that there is fruit in beer, fruit has been used in brewing for centuries. It’s more the styles that we’re seeing it in. A good IPA does not need any flavour enhancements!
I will avoid had enough of these messed around beers with fruit and flavourings. Are these beers or alcopops? At least Aldi wont be charging nearly £4 pounds like the other supermarkets for something like this one positive.

Ive really been enjoying the lemon peroni from aldi i got a 10 pack for £9.99 and i think there great very good drink to have on a very hot day😊
They sound nice and refreshing in the warm weather, I will definitely be trying them out.

I tried the Watermelon and was pleasantly surprised it was a nice summer's evening beer.....might get a couple more cans if the suns comes out again !

I've tried the Pineapple and it was awful stuff. Anything Hop foundry is awful.

Yup their beer Buyer needs firing. I have never known a supermarket to consistently churn out such awful beer, it’s been going on for years
