Couple of extra tips Simon, you don’t need scissors to get the new tube from the packaging, there’s a little tab in the middle you push that allows you tear it open. Also you should always run your tap and your new line under the water tap separately, this not only cleans them out (especially the tap as can have remnants of previous beer in it), but helps keep the head down on first pull, but you’ve done right by drawing a glass out first before pulling your pint. If you like the Jaipur on PD you should try the Goose Island IPA on it, it’s up another level. Love the videos mate, especially the PD ones, keep ‘er lit Simon 👍
I do everything you say other than draw a glass out first, totally unnecessary....just expect a slightly bigger head on your first pint but nothing wrong with that.
Nice one Simon, I’ve just ordered my Philips machine on the strength of your video reviews and looking forward to enjoying some Jaipur and Hasseröder over Christmas. Keep up the good work!!
What a clever little mahine that is. Wish I lived in a country with a civilized view on beer and lower end alcoholic drinks. I'd love if we were allowed to buy machines and beer like that. Be an awesome movie night having that beast standing next to me ! :) Great review as always Simon.
This was the point I was going to make on your can review of this. I love green mountain by thornbridge but can is just carbonated taste in a can. Never the same as keg quality as you always say on your pd reviews
Wasn’t a massive fan of the cans either but going to give the keg a try nonetheless! Excited for F1 to start this weekend, hoping for a classic season, HAM vs VER in (hopefully) evenly matched cars is what we have all been waiting for!
Another great vid. Just a suggestion, that will make your videos more professional. Try talking to your audience instead of off camera, it does make it more interactive. Use the screen as a monitor, just to make sure your in frame and speak to the camera lense, tricky to start with but you get the hang of it after a few videos.
Great review. One thing though you won’t damage the PD by allowing the keg to cool from ambient to 3c it just takes a long time. The instructions tell you it’s perfectly fine to do so but cooling is at 1c-1.5c per hour and a keg can take up to 12 hours to cool depending on the ambient temperature of the keg when loaded. As for the Jaipur I found it’s ok but it’s still not the Jaipur of old. It’s not not balanced enough with the bitterness and it’s far too harsh. Jaipur has always had a big bitter finish but it used to be all in balance with the big grapefruit/tropical initial taste and the malt in the middle. Now it’s got less fruitiness on the initial taste with a malt note and a raging bitterness which for me is not how Jaipur used to be. I found it far too much to drink that I pour a lot of my PD keg down the sink as I knew I would never finish it. Compare this to stone IPA the Sub where I went through 4 torps back to back (not in the same session) and found it a much better balanced beer even though it’s IBU’s are higher than Jaipur.
I thought this model you can change the temp setting? I wouldnt want craft ale at 3 degrees unless was blazing hot outside or something. Lager maybe I would.
Great Video, Bought a Bottle a few weeks ago and was really looking forward to it but unfortunately Its just not to my taste :( Never mind keep on trying the different drinks,
Anyone had the 5L keg of Jaipur before (currently out of stock)? Keen to know if it’s significantly better than Jaipur in cans too and anywhere near the taste of this, for those of us unwilling to invest in Perfect Draft...
Blade news. Triple affligem 9% Brand IPA Lagunitas Amstel Radler Neck oil Thats doing the rounds simon that's ones people are saying are going on Brace yourself!

Little bit, jealous right now.....i dont own any of these systems, but the Perfect Draft gets my vote.

10/10 agreed...the quintessential British IPA... absolutely beautiful...was the first keg I got on the PD and haven't found one to beat it yet!!
Magnificent stuff Simon dinner is on and ya half cut 🍻between the F1 and the football legendary effort my friend 😂👍🇦🇺👏

Great review... thanks. Jaipur is just about my favourite IPA now. I am trying to get my local to stock it (in Kent... not easy!).
Great video Simon, Jaipur is great on the PD but I prefer the Goose IPA personally. The Brewfitt machine hurts my eyes though!
Had my first bottle of Jaipur last night, perfection!
Is this the new camera? I'd suggest looking at the lens and not watching yourself on the lcd screen on the camera.
Had this last weekend on the PD too - top stuff. 10/10
Love your reviews. Haven’t tried the Jaipur yet but it’s in my list. Love your passion for beer and food. Top man.
Jaipur IPA one exciting beer, especially in this format. : )

Why do you open the new line packaging with scissors ✂️?
There's an easy open tab at the side ;)
Seems odd to me that you’d replace the line, but not wash the tap.
love the enthusiasm here. got a sub but im trying to get my hands on a perfect draft now to try these beers but they are like unicorns at the moment
This is one of the UK beers I would love to try.
How do you find the carbonation on the perfect draft Simon? Some people complain that there isn't much head retention on the beers.
Great review.

Tremendous Simon my frnd loves that beer.
What about Fizzics machine are you going to use it again. And what do you think of it?
Used it in a 750ml bottle, I made a video on UA-cam, I think for 750ml the Fizzics is a great machine.
