Either that Golf isn't 250bhp or it has a hydrid turbo. Stock turbo can't flow more than 220bhp
having owned the same car with far more mods, still on the stock GT1749vc I agree, happy dyno I reckon.

Well that mk5 is no way running 250bhp! with the limited mods and a map! I’d say 200-210 MAX
Mine only made 208 with dpf and egr delete. Need a fair few mods to make 250

must be hybrid turbo on that gold tdi. He never mentioned much a tune running stock turbo will see 220 at most.
I thought the same. Stock turbo is at its absolute limit by 220bhp. Also stock clutch can't handle more than stage 1 torque

Will beat both of those in my F31 316i with a 220hp map. The braking is terrible 0 commitment, a lot of space is left over on pretty much every corner both on the apex and the entrance/exit. So what is this all about? It’s just stupid content and after 10 minutes I’m not even interested to see the remaining 14.

170bhp golf V tdi will NEVER do 250bhp using a STOCK TURBO, not even using a hybrid from stock turbo, because that turbocharger is VERY small on exhaust wheel/turbine.. effectively using stock exhaust wheel it CANNOT exhaust all the gasses resulting from burning air for 250bhp.. because power came from air, fuel (no matter which one) just help burning air.
So.. WHO LIE there?

@@u04pww2 gt1856? why somebody would use it in a track day car? But the driver didn't mention about turbo upgrade.. so? Yes, it's possible 250bhp using any 56mm and above comoressor (gtb 2056, gtb 2060, gtb 1856, gtb 2260, gtd 2056, etc). For daily use could be gtB 1856, but i have choosen gtb2056 instead and i run this daily from 6years ago.
@@napraznicul I use a ball bearing 1856, plug and play from standard turbo, no other mods needed. 256hp and 370lb
@@u04pww2 those bb 1856 i know were used by Mercedes only for few newer diesel engines (after 2017). How do you find one.. plug'n play on VAG mainfold flange as you said?!
@@napraznicul my first one I had no end of problems with, cost me alot replacing other parts of the car trying to find the problem, turned out it wasn't set up right and there was a problem with the vains so it would spool up fast but never hold requested boost. I now have a new one installed and collect the car next week so I'll let you know how it goes but the previous one even though it was faulty it spooled really early for a bigger unit than standard.
stus car was probably more controllable around the bends because of the significantly less power and with the low end torque in a diesel i think it helped pushed the car closer to the golf r

Tbh horse power dont rlly matter on track when its amateur level its all about the driver then driving a fast car fast on a track is a whole new ball game compared to just straight line bashing it
