So many great hikes; so many great trails. Oh yes.....I love the mountains and forests; I love the moors and hills, rivers and streams. We have many opportunities here in the uk, and remote areas in Scotland for hiking, and camping. Thanks for this one Shawn, and for all the others. KEN

Killer video! LOVE at around 2:40 we see you walk up, stop, look right - then we see what you are looking at that was awesome... REally like your hike video method, selfie backwards camera view kept to a minimum, this views as if i was walking right there with you, love it

Another great video. I just moved back home to Nevada but was working in Everett, WA for 3 years. When you get a chance try some of the hikes off the Mt. Loop Highway near Granite Falls. Beautiful stuff. Unfortunately a lot of people certain times of the year but still good stuff. Back to hiking in the Sierra's for me.

Beautiful country. It looked like a lot of uphill in your hike. Don't you ever sweat? You make it look easy. My wife and I just hiked up to delicate arch in Arches national park. It is about 4 miles round trip, pretty steep uphill section to it. I used a Y harness outfit like yours, minus the back pack. I had to carry her water bottle and lunch with it. It worked out great, I loved it. hardly knew I was wearing it. By the time I got back to the car I was a sweaty mess. You are pretty exposed on the hike, all in the sun. But still dude, you must be in great shape. Loved your video.

Tricky, looks just like tuckermans. Down the bottom, rocks to have lunch, the bowl had lines of people hiking straight up, with ski's on packs and wearing boots. They had a medic station at the bottom, for the sixty mile per hour wipe outs or the mini avalanche's that occurred. Skiing it was like heavy mashed potato snow with ice boulder chunk's mixed in. Once in a life experience.

Howdy Corporal, As with all your videos I enjoyed this one as well. You go to places that I've been in the past, or places that I wanted to go. Did you get close enough to the tracks in the snow to tell what made them? Bear, man, or Sasquatch? I've seen all three in that neck of the woods in years past. Thanks for sharing your hike videos, and keep up the good work.

Now this is the stuff I need to see. This location will be home and the skills I'll need to survive year round no one else seems to Taylor a video or videos on this region. I know this much it's not going to be easy but it will be worth it. How in the world did the mountain men survive that's what I'm saying. No amount of prepping or planning or research can prepare me for the journey ahead of me. I plan on recording everything and I'll keep going until I can't go anymore. Corporal do you have any solid survival advice? Me not going isn't an option it's root hog or die for me.
